I love this story. The preacher gave the Bible to the hooker before he died and she read it to her son who became a preacher ❤

Many a Bishop will be surprised at his failure to gain 'the Promised Land'...while hordes of once-fallen-women...WILL !

Hey Ash, great reaction. Randy Travis is a great singer with many hits under his belt.

Randy Travis was a gift! I'm no big country music fan, but his voice, his story-telling, was always wonderful. If you look him up, you will see he did some acting, as well. Westerns, Hallmark movies, and soundtracks to many films. He had a stroke in 2010, which has limited his talent, but he is great!

You may have to listen to this song several times to understand the story. I know I did. Go back, get a copy of the lyrics, and listen to the song carefully, because you missed the whole point of the song completely. It was not about 3 good people dying tragically before their time. It was a story about the redemption of a hooker.
For at the end of the song, we see years later a preacher relating this story to his congregation and holding that same blood stained Bible. This preacher's mother turns out to be the hooker who survived the bus crash. She obviously had turned her life around after surviving the crash. She had a son who she faithfully read that blood stained Bible to, and he becomes a preacher, the one who is now relating the story to his congregation.

One of the cool things about country music is that the artists tell incredible stories. Randy Travis is one of the best to ever grace the genre

This is a great song, but it reminds me of Phantom 309 by Red Sovine I'd suggest checking it out for another truck driving story song.

To me it is so sad that you missed the whole point of the song! You really need to go back and listen to the song and have it with lyrics so you can read the words and try to understand what the message is! I find it so amazing how many of you that have reaction to song channels Miss the whole point of the story of this song! 🤦
