This is the FIRST game since the witcher 3 where i found my self avoiding fast travel just to ride through the enviroment, and im always side tracked by other things happening. I've had it for a week and im still on chapter 3. This game is generations ahead of its time.
Amen to that. Binged played for about 30 hours this weekend. The game is perfection. I'm a history teacher and a video game enthusiast. This is pure bliss.
@Dean Siroit Rockstar may be king of the genre, but as far as singular games go, both RDR 2 and Zelda BotW has got 97 average score on Metacritic, but Zelda Switch has 70 perfect scores (more than any game?) while RDR 2 PS4 has 57. So, based on these numbers, Breath of the Wild would be the best open world game of all time.

Way better than GTA. This is my kinda game. 2 hours into the game and I'm loving it. The first 1 hour was kinda boring, starts off very very slow , but it sure picks up after that, once u start exploring here and there, not a fan of that cinematic black bars but it's ok I'm kinda used to it now.
This game is truly a incomparable experience, cd projekt set the standard for open world with the Witcher 3 in 2016 but now rockstar is raising that bar. Amazing
@pawanjot singh CDP Red never set any standard for open world games they are on the same level as Ubisoft in therms of world building and technical achievements. Rockstar set standards for open world games since GTA III(2001) and with every game they released they push it even harder on the another level.

I dont care about a game's graphics as long as it is fun. It can have Mario graphics but if it's fun I will enjoy it. If a game is fun and has amazing graphics thats a bonus.

There’s so many animals I’ve come across in just like 5 hours of gameplay. I’ve seen bears, deer, rabbits, horses (of course), dogs, birds, chickens. You name it, it’s probably in this game.
I have this game and this game is one of the greatest graphics games I’ve ever seen. The graphics, the views, the NPCs especially in an open world game. Nothing better than this. Game of the year definitely.
Rockstar had all the rights to say that "GTA V was a warm up for Red Dead Redemption 2" but they never bragged it. Unlike CDPR, they had the audacity to say that "Witcher 3 was a warm up for Cyberpunk". Jesus Christ.
Came out 2018. Played it on PC 2020. It‘s almost 2022. Still nothing compareably beautiful and genius on the market. Seems like this game came from the future…
The atmosphere and inmersion they achieved is one step ahead of everyone and everything in the industry. One of the greatest pieces of modern art ever made. If someday in the near future, something like the Oasis from "Ready Player One" is made, it will be done by Rockstar...
That's what i call a beautiful environment, just riding and riding through this openworld is relaxing ,they should make a sequel for this game in which we play the role of saddie or javier ,this could be a whole new level of gaming,like saddie would go to south america and javier will travel across Mexico and at the end he will be found by john Marston .
Cinema is one an application where 30fps easily beats 60fps (and 24 is even better).. A console is apt enough for these sequences. Everywhere else high frame rate ftw (I mean PC lol).

Bahmann Hamed I’d say it probably dips to around 25-29 frames in certain cities. But it’s not that bad and it runs silky smooth everywhere else.
