What we love the most about RVs are the amount of storage space hidden everywhere. The overhead compartment looks so great. Hope to get ours close to yours 😂
I've dreamed of the RV lifestyle for over 30 years but find myself divorced, so I couldn't imagine doing this alone, so I will have to live vicariously through watching you two!
would love to trip around Canada, at least 3 months ... great tour around. do miss the space from the old RV... but im happy with what i have. cheers both x
This is so much fun. Its amazing how big the interior is. You cant really tell how spacious it is looking from outside. So how often did you fill he water tank? Was it everyday, and where do you fill up the water tank at? Thank you for showing us around. Im obviously two years later. Haha.
Wonderful setup and VERY nice size! A 12V TV is a great option! Uses far less power than a 110V unit! I want to swap out the one in our RV to 12V even though we don't use the TV much. I've never seen a rear slide out like that! Awesome! Great tour!
You got so close to Vancouver Island !!! I hope you had time enough on your cross country trip to make frequent stops and get out and walk a bit .My back tells me I must do that when traveling!. great trip! Cheers from Vancouver Island West.!!!
We had an awesome trip with lots of stops on the way, what we really enjoyed was the boondocking everyone was so nice and welcoming fantastic adventure Cheers 🍺🍷🌺
Thank you so much for the video, we were thinking about renting an RV too for visiting Canada. How much it cost you approximately, for 2 weeks and also did you used a lot of gas ?
We drove 5,000 km and the gas was $1,800. All in the rental, gas and insurance was about $2,800 for 2 weeks. Best of luck with your plans and thanks for watching.
Us too, this vehicle retails for nearly $150,000 U.S. but you can rent them, we even sold our car and only rent a vehicle when we need one. We rediscovered public transit which is fantastic and cost effective. Thanks for your support.
Hi kids, I want to rent the Maxi A like yours, instead of the Mini B but my wife thinks it is too long, just 4' longer. I told her the height, width and weight are the same . What is the mpg about 8?. We are planing flying from Cleveland, OH to Calgary and bring her to Glacier NP, Badlands SD and then up thru ND to Canada and on to Banff. Thanks keep enjoying your time together!
Yes you are right around 6 to 8 mpg depending on the terrain you are traveling in. We felt the length of this motorhome was just right, the only thing to think about, your seating is just the u shaped dinette, whereas on some other models they do put a "Lazyboy" style arm chair as well as a dinette. I (Norm) was the driver the whole time and the length was never an issue. Be very careful with gas stations especially in rural areas as the height of these camper vans wouldn't fit under some canopies, you are fine with modern gas stations, but height was the thing that Tina would always keep an eye on and warn me, as I was concentrating on driving. Sounds a fantastic trip you are going to take, we loved the motorhome (apart from the gas mileage😀). In Banff you have to buy a permit just to be in Banff, we liked Canmore just down the road for overnight and just visited Banff during the day. Thanks for your message!
Thank you, the RV is very easy to drive, just make sure the passenger reminds you about the height of the RV as you approach obstacles like gas station canopies and bridges. Some old gas station canopies are too low and never back up without someone guiding you. Photograph everything before driving off the Canadream lot, sides front back and windshield etc it helps if there is a dispute when you bring it back. Good luck and have fun, we had a blast one of the best trips we have done.
That's an awesome motor home. What a great idea to rent instead of the expense of purchasing. You guys be careful & have fun! I would love to have you join my RUclips family too
We did this trip in late April 2019 the Campgrounds were closed , and at a lot of the truck stops etc the water was turned off, but we did find enough places to fill up with on our trip .There was no problem with water in the RV once we filled up . It was a fantastic trip highly recommended we loved ❤️ it . Have a great day Cheers 🍺🍷🙂
North American RV manufacturers are still an old school design compared to European counterpart which has been far more better in terms of design, functionality and price. Canadian RV price are rip off.
We totally agree with you, we had a caravan (travel trailer), in England before we came to Canada and could tow it behind the equivalent of the Ford Taurus (Ford Granada) this was in 1985, had a double bed and two bunks and was very lightweight. We would hope European design RV’s would come over here but it is a longtime coming. Thanks for watching and commenting,
Phenomenal guys.. it's good to see how you guys are enjoying your retirement.. it's so inspiring.. loads of love from India..
Glad you enjoyed it! TFW hope you have a great day Cheers 🍷👍🍺🌺
Congrats ! Very inspiring! Thanks!

Put it on the bucket list, if you ever make it over here we would love a meetup.

No the water tank lasted two or three days, we filled up at gas stations and truck stops.
Wonderful setup and VERY nice size! A 12V TV is a great option! Uses far less power than a 110V unit! I want to swap out the one in our RV to 12V even though we don't use the TV much. I've never seen a rear slide out like that! Awesome! Great tour!
The rear slide out is awesome as we don't have a huge tail swing because of it. Beginners luck for us.
Gorgeous RV!! I could live in there!
It was awesome we had a fantastic trip Cheers 🍺🍷🇨🇦

Thanks so much, we got a great deal on Travelzoo.
Amazing tour friends thank you
Thank you for stopping by.
Very roomy motor home. Thanks for the tour!
It was but beyond our budget to buy😀
Nice RV and good explanation! ...were did you dump the gray and black water if camping were closed ?
We dumped at Flying J Truck Stops and in BC the rest areas had dump stations.
Rear slide is nice for sleeping in parking areas (in a pinch)
Yep we used that all the time in Walmart parking lots, we just backed up to one of those little landscaped islands they have in the car parks.
I love these types of videos for in the future when I decided to get one. Like 18 Gary
Thanks for watching we appreciate it 👍🙂
Thank you as I would like to do this trip myself.
You should! it’s a great experience Cheers 🍺🌺🍷

Veddy nice....how much?
(For renting the RV for 2 weeks and your gas total)
You need to look at Travel zoo or Canadream for the deals have a great weekend Cheers 🌺🍺🍷
What a cute lovely couple. My friend and I are hoping to rent from Canadream this winter to explore Ontario! What are your thoughts about driving it?
Thank you, the RV is very easy to drive, just make sure the passenger reminds you about the height of the RV as you approach obstacles like gas station canopies and bridges. Thank you, it's a great motorhome, renting is the way to go for us. We have joined your RUclips family. Thanks for your support.
Were you able to fully use the water? I thought I read on the CanadaRV website that the water was shut off for the off season.
We did this trip in late April 2019 the Campgrounds were closed , and at a lot of the truck stops etc the water was turned off, but we did find enough places to fill up with on our trip .There was no problem with water in the RV once we filled up . @@ThisIsOurRetirement Great thanks as that makes the trip a lot easier. This is a great idea and I think we will try it ourselves.

wow a very level RV - you two have had a lot of varied retirement adventures. have you rented a camper in Portugal?
No we haven’t Cheers 🍷🌺
Did you say how long it is?
About 32-34 feet it was a long time ago we talk in the movie about size etc Cheers 🌺🙂
Whose here after Travelling Desi Vlogs ??
😀😀🙏
