If just moves differently on paper. But it depends what you are used to, I personally never got on with Microns, they are good but they tend to finish so quickly and also I destroy the tip pretty quickly too, they just don't last for me.
Have yu tried the Platinum Carbon Fountain Pen in Arches watercolour? Does it work? Depending on your view I will get the pen as I work mainly on Arches watercolour paper. Thank you very much

But having said that, they are other gel pens I love using, they glide over paper unlike Micron I find, again whichever I am in the mood for.
