Flambards Review - Amusement Park in Cornwall

- Flambards is a amusment park based in Helston, Cornwall that I went to in May 2021. Its a nice, small to mid sized park with a great selection of rides, from small to large. The coaster there, Hornet, a Zierer family coaster is a great ride and the best out of the 4 roller coasters in Cornwall. Something that suprised me was how good the Victorian Village and Blitz exibitions were due to the amount of detail and the size of the experience.

Thanks for watching Thrills and Forces!
Nice review, I went as a kid in the early 00s and went back in 2014 and saw a sad decline in the park. They had limited number of staff so rotated them around the park so were closing rides at intervals. Space race also used to be located next to the Karts and was open air.
Its not as good when rides are closed at intervals! Though from what I can remember from my trip in 2021 I didn't notice any of that which is good. It was nice seeing the park do well when I visited, it was quite busy and had a good atmosphere. It's a shame I couldn't get on space race because it looks like quite a fun ride!
I prefer this to allton towers and the village and Britain in the blitz were insane
Those two indoor attractions really blew my expectations away too, there are so many details that are put into it all!
It's really good to do after you have a big lunch
Yeah that’s exactly what I did on the day I went!
I'm going to flambards today for a firework display
Awesome. I’m sure it will be good!
Nice video! Just went yesterday (07/07) and it was pretty good! Thunderbolt and Sky Raker were the best rides there. Hornet was quite good, however it did break down after they dispatched the train with me on it, so sat for a bit. I didnt go on Skyforce due to the operations being dreadfully slow (about one cycle per hour) and it was stop start raining! Didnt have time for the museum but the family side of the park is a lot more gardeny and colourful! 😄
Thanks! I think it is a great park to visit too. The operations on Sky Force looked quite slow, I didn’t get on it either! I definitely agree that the family side is greener, I was surprised by the size of it, it takes up a large amount of the park! Though the best rides there are for sure on the other side with Hornet and the big flat rides!
I went to flambards again today and went on the thunderbolt but it broke while I was on it they had to lift the restraints up twice because they weren’t going down properly then it started but it went so much slower than usual and the seats didn’t lean forward as it turned it started making creaking sounds and it was still going slow when you were upsideown it got really jolty and it went so slow that it felt like you were gonna fall out and my neck was hurting so much
That sounds really uncomfortable! I’m sorry you had such disappointing ride because when I went a couple of years ago it looked quite good and thrilling.
No the rides don’t have different closing times people just play with the clocks this is my local park
Sorry about that mistake, the clocks confused me a bit on the day!
The space race is being replaced by a new attraction in 2024
That’s exciting! I wonder what it will be?
@@ThrillsandForces I’m hoping it’s something great because of the date it’s coming
@@ThrillsandForces and he balloon race is being replaced as well as the cool zone indoor play so a lot of development going on this year
@@jakesgreatadventures it’s really great the park is investing and improving on itself!
