Wow! Lovely car! I owned a 2 litre back in the day then traded for a 2 litre turbo later on, both in red. Loved them. You really brought back great memories with this video - Thank you! Enjoy your car, it’s awesome to look at and what a feeling to drive something so DIFFERENT! 😎👍🏻
This is definitely one of the best short car feature videos I've ever seen. So well done. The 80s synthe music mixed with the video game audio and the cobra kai thing hanging from the rear view mirror... Someone should get an award for this.
Very cool!!! Loved my 1985 Isuzu Impulse, mine was not turbo and I beat the hell out of it! After blowing the 4th engine my dad had enough and she was gone!!
This was known as the Isuzu Impulse Turbo in the states....had a rich HS friend that got one for graduation fully loaded! They called me "the driver" and he threw me the keys late night at a party. I went straight to the highway and pushed it up to 151mph(yes it went that fast!) and the only reason I backed off was because the nose started to left and scared the crap out of me! very underrated ride!
Thank you for the beautiful video. It was a little different from Japanese specifications and interesting. Did you change the hub to wear these wheels? Also, the Piazza with this specification was sold in Japan under the name PIAZZA NERO Handling By Lotus not by Isuzu but by a dealer called "YANASE". Giugiaro's italdesign. It looks beautiful even now.
If you look closely, you will see that it is a four-hole. At that time, only the same wheels as the VW Golf were compatible, and I had a hard time choosing wheels. よく見たら四穴ですね。 当時はワーゲンゴルフと同じホイールしか適合しなくてホイール選びに苦労したものです。
Great vid thrill seeker. Reminds me of the Red '86 Holden Piazza I had in '88 in Australia. Same Isuzu car sold under the General Motors Aussie brand Holden. Not quick as torquey as my current Holden 6.0lt V8 ute but hella fast just the same. Gotta lot of time for rice burners especially with intercooled hair dryers. Whoooska!
Yo! Nice to hear from another Piazza owner! I'm running on Zoom lowering springs bought through Yahoo Japan. 35-40mm lowered according to spec but I didn't measure before. This setup is making the tires rub in the plastic inner arch a little bit, but I hope I'll get that sorted with new stiffer adjustable shocks from Spax.
Owned one of these back in the 90s. Wonderful car. Still miss it, but a family came along and it was no longer practical.
2nd car.. all silver ... awsome lil thing
Wow que hermoso carro 😎✌️🚙
懐かしい〜若い頃いすゞで働いてました!
Sugoi! 🤩
One man created dozens of design masterpieces
To film a black car at night and still be able to capture all the details is an amazing feat.
Thanks a lot, yeah it wasn't easy to film a black car at night that's for sure! 😁
Full frame sensors FTW
They called that the Impluse over here. Still like the styling all of these years later. Great video production by the way.
Such an underrated car, almost as criminally underappreciated as this channel.

Yes I absolutely love it! have some more info about it on www.kaizenracingproject.com if you want! :)
This car is beautiful. Now my new favourite. Please more videos mate!

Damn man I really appreciate it! :) Soon it's time to do part 2 as the car has been worked on since this video!

No it didn’t, it was drag limited at 128-130 mph!!!! Still pretty fast!
What a great car in Gran Turismo 6. That front suspension is good.
Damn, I'm gonna have to buy me a copy of that and go Piazza racing! :)
I’ve owned 2 of these back in the day, fantastic cars.
Nice! Yeah I hope I never sell this one! ;)

Hey! No these are 4x100 16" wheels! I did not know about the Yanase part! :) Thanks for kind words!

Brilliant! Great camera work, perfect soundtrack and above all a cool car :)
Big thanks, really means a lot! 🙏🏻 I'll try to keep the videos coming!
Sweet. Saw you posted on the FB group. Had to save and watch later as I was working at the time. Glad I saved it.
Absolutely fantastic car

I had the same wheels on my 87.5 RS Turbo. Back then a 15 inch wheel was considered HUGE.
I actually downsized from 17" on the Piazza as I thought it didn't looked good with so low profile on the tires! ;)
Stunning car and fantastic vid!!
カッコよすぎてチビるレベル❤
This was my first car 86 Impulse Turbo....LOVED seeing this!!! Great job hope to see more automotive videos from you....88 Fiero GT???

What’s the suspension set up I’m looking to lower my piazza without cutting the springs

uk, italy, japan
music is too loud we want to hear the engine but the music is so overwhelming
💯💯
What if takumi fujiwara prefer to this one than ae86
Yeah that would have been pretty awesome! ;)
All the add placements and the fake replys are funny. It's like we don't realize it or something. What a fake world this google land is
