Please do more of these type of videos. I have too many supplies and watch too many ideas and end up doing nothing. I really liked your crafty fatigue video's.
Thanks, Hayley! There's a Crafty Fatigue video coming soon... ;)
I love how share layouts that are simple and organic. Your methods for organizing card making make the hobby easier to enjoy and accomplish more at a session.
Thanks, Jacqueline!!
These images are wonderful but it is your watercoloring that brings them to life. Also, I love the addition of the ink blending which really makes them stand out. Great video and finished cards.
Thanks for your sweet words, Carole!
Jill, another wonderful crafting inspiration. So much food for thought. I love your idea of a plan for lessening the stress of too many supplies to just a few and letting our creative ideas just take off. Card making should be relaxing and not a stressful hobby. You eat that elephant one bite at a time. Thanks for your efforts for us on this side of the You Tube audience..Joy
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, Joy! :)

Such a great idea, Jill! First, I must clean off a space on my desk, and I'm going to do this!!! I start too many projects, and then only get a few finished. I'm so excited because I have bought a palette, a good quality brush like yours and a few basic colors of the distress re-inkers. Thanks!
I love this!
Thank you!
I love watching you watercolor. Especially with re inkers. Is is possible to watercolor with just the distress ink pads smooshed on an acrylic block and add a little water? I don’t have all the distress reinker colors.
Great question! You can absolutely watercolor by pressing your Distress Ink pad smooshed on an acrylic block and adding water- it looks great! Your color may be just a bit lighter because the ink will be diluted with water and not as concentrated as it is straight out of the reinker.
Thank you for your videos, inspiring and cards are stunning, Are your card base also made from the watercolour paper too? I do struggle with the colour difference between the two, one is creamier tone and my bases are more white, I am in the UK so supplies may be different. Thank you
Another wonderful video and awesome cards! I would like to know what the advantage is to use Distress inks as watercolors? Why would you use them vs regular watercolor paints?
Great question and thanks for your kind words. I like the Distress Ink reinkers because of their intensity of color and my familiarity with their colors. They also are ready to go right out of the palette and don't require me rewetting/activating them with water to get them "paintable." (Hope that makes sense... heehee!) Also, it's just an extra way to use something I already have on hand.
@@PennyBlackInc Thanks for a great answer! Do you ever use the Distress Stains?
@@mpbailey18 I used them many, many years ago but used them directly onto brushstroke stamps, not for painting. I haven't had any for a long time.
Can I ask why you use archival for the inking of edges as opposed to your distress inks?
Thanks for your question- either can be used, I just choose by which color I prefer. :)
