If you want to remove all the oil remove both plugs at the bottom of the engine. Then push the throttle all the way in and push the starter button for 8 seconds. The engine won't start and it will empty the passage ways. BRP tech gave me this trick because every oil change the whole oil kit 3.5 qt wouldn't fit I was always over full on the dip stick. I was always left with 0.5 to 0.25 quart of oil to not be over filled.
@@spoonmonkey8971 Also, if you were misdirected , used a Torx to try to remove the big plug and messed it up, you may be able to hammer in the proper Allen #6. The inside is only messed up at the top.
The manual states 15 nm not 20. From an official brp video I would expect accuracy. I over torqued my drain plug now as a result. I trusted the information from the manufacturer to be accurate as this is a video to assist in performing your own maintenance. Bro needs to be accountable.
I dont like these new snowmobiles too many screws etc to take off just to put in coolant and so on. Well the ones i watched so far cause i have one that was given to me and idk about it lol

For my 2021 900ace Trox for drain cover is T27 and oil plug is allen #6. Oil cover is T30.

How about rotating clutch to purge residual oil from sump???
Just pin the throttle all the way in and push the starter for about 8 seconds it will not start and it will empty the rest of the old oil left.
