It didn't get better, his nerves did. Nerves can make stutters worse
BlueXBell Yes he does.... he has said multiple times before that he edits out some of the parts that his stutter is really bad and uses the better takes.. I never said he edits out all of it. My only point was that when someone is nervous their stutter is worse and in his videos he edits the worse parts out.
@@janessaaas people tend to stutter or make mistakes more often when they are under pressure or if they are nervous, since he already had a stutter, being in front of so many people even worsened it.

My question is, why would they bring back a winner? To me that's unfair, they should only let people who didn't win the first time... Paul Zerdin is AMAZING but he won, has a career and is very successful. He does not need to come back. We should let others who didn't win their chance.

NO WAY Paul zerdin was amazing. He was funny and a true master at what he did. He also tackled two fields: comedy and ventriloquism and he flawed through both with ease. There’s a reason Paul breezed through every round with no problem.

Now it's more of just a stammer here and there. He was always funny but he has a confidence and maturity now that he didn't at first. He looks great and like Howie says he comes across as a professional now.

Bea Badjar I’ve been following Drew for a long time. I’ve seen all his videos. I’m not surprised by the limited amount of stuttering here compared to his first audition. It’s just quite the difference.
He totally got his nerves under control. There’s a big difference because last time his voice constantly influxed and he seemed like he ran out of breath at the end of each sentence. Love him! And Stella!

This is actually my favorite performance from him in the show, he has improved a lot, not only with his stuttering but also with his expressions and acting, he's more genuine now, i'd love to see more.
The mom in me makes me want to give Drew a big big hug and some of my good cooking. So endearing and humble.

This environment absolutely smothers this brilliant comic. He's only been okay at best on AGT but he's on point and on fire on stage since. His comedy special is stellar and his clips battling loud mouth rowdy audiences as he tours the states are priceless!
I think his stutter gives him so much character, like it's a cool quirk that not a lot of people have and when you watch him in live shows and somebody makes a rude comment on it he really comes back stronger and that's what I love most about him.

JJ king His stutter is legitimate. When he was hit in the throat by the softball it caused his brain to rock in his head aka concussion/traumatic brain injury. You are NEVER supposed to sleep the first night after getting a concussion and when he did it caused brain damage, resulting in his stutter.

If you look at the actual video of Paul Zerdin winning that’s not Drew’s face when Nick announced the winner. When Nick announced that Paul was the winner drew immediately smiled and clapped for him. Agt edited the HELL out of this scene right here. They both were great acts!! I was rooting for Paul tho because he was ridiculously good. Glad he won it.

Yup that’s why his touring comedy shows at small businesses are for 18+. He’s also probably held back more by the fact that the audience is basically quiet and he can’t use them for some punchlines.

I have always had a stutter and I love this guy. Mine isn't as bad as it used to be but it still sucks. He helped me when I had a speech class in college and dispite my stutter I got an A in the class and the best speech for the semester.
He still did an amazing job even though he does have a stutter I agree with Heidi not all comedians are great but he KILLED.
