D14 World Record! This track was surprisingly enjoyable to hunt even with the low-jump trick at the ending mixed with a deathloop. Which definitely is not a good combination. I did spend more time then I thought I would, but I am very satisfied with my time. Also along the way, Hetna suggested it might be possible to speedslide and as it turns out it is. I didn't get it perfect in this run, but it wasn't a bad one. The speedslide do actually save A LOT if done correctly. It makes you wonder though, how has this not been discovered yet?

speedruns should have a universal worth score based on how many people have attempted the record.

First, doesn't make sense because TrackMania is not a game typically associated with speedrunning.
If you're talking about a universal worth score (based on all the TrackMania Games) that would be HELL to make and manage and some people will argue that one person's score isn't justified to the other person's score.

@@KudosK42 Your first section of this comment makes no sense, of course you can speedrun Trackmania, that is literally what the game is about, getting to the end as quick as possible.
I'm talking about all games and no it wouldn't be difficult, you simply add a weight based on how many people has tried to speedrun that particular game or map (there is statistics for this).

That's the problem, you can't, there are a lot of genres to go around, creating a system with no bias whatsoever is just a call for disaster. Also, speedrunning all levels is not that popular.

@@KudosK42 We only have to factor in attempted speedruns on that particular game or map to get the true value of that speedrun, it's not fair to compare someone beating a score in a highly competitive game like Super Mario to someone speedrunning a niche game with 0 speedrun attempts. To solve this we must account for the attempted speedruns and that is what Universal Score would display.

Who do you think has the higher Universal Score?
The Minecraft speedrunner. Why? Because Minecraft is a RNG heavy game, you can only get a WR when the RNG is in your favor, in a Super Mario 64 16 star speedrun, RNG barely has any play on the game, its your skill alone.
So you see why this thing you're proposing isn't ideal for situations like these.
Even with different sections for RNG and Non-RNG games. Its still wouldn't be enough because Minecraft and another RNG heavy game called I don't know GTA V? They have different skill ceilings, Minecraft's speedruns nowadays are RNG reliant now, clutch plays and last second decisions are an instinct, in GTA V You have to be good at driving, making very split decisions, good at shooting and aim, and have to be consistent for 4 OR 5 HOURS.
The length of the game has to be factored in as well.

No I don't think that's true. The SD is just incredibly hard to do and extremely precise. If I had to choose, it's definitely the most advanced and difficult SD in the entire campaign.
