[World Record] TrackMania Canyon D01 | 16'554 by Yogosun
After a very long break from hunting I decided to return to reclaim D01 World Record. I've been hunting it on and off for a long time now and it's just really good to be done with it. Hopefully forever.
The funny thing is that it was a very quick session before I got a visit. I didn't hunt for 5 days or something and I got it after about 10 minutes or so into the session. I did not expect to get it at all.
I'm really glad with how my start is because that second speedslide is very sick. Unfortunately the cut itself isn't the greatest, but at least it was enough to beat the old record.
My WR: 16.554
Former WR: 16.558 (+0.004)

With help from Skuggacos TAS tool, we managed to shave off almost half a second with a failed base run I've had in the past when I hunted for D08 World Record. Skuggaco approached to me with the idea of TASing D08 and I think it's safe to say it was about time. His tool does not yet have bruteforce, but it definitely does its job. First time getting A12 World Record! I managed to tie the previous World Record and then I tied the newly improved World Record by mebe once again. Luckily, I kept hunting and beat it about 30 mins after I tied the previous WR a second time. My WR: 27.444 Former WR: 27.447 ( 0.003)

A02 World Record finally recovered! I've recently returned from a 3 month break from Trackmania and decided to give A02 ago. I got it surprisingly fast within one single hunting session! Been a while since I have hunted anything so I decided to give #008 on Turbo a go as I lost my old record a little while ago with a new strat that was discovered. I had a very sick start combined with a pretty much perfect flip. I would say the sub .3 is possible, but you would be mad to go for it. HOLY SHIT! The legendary D08 has finally been beaten after an illegal amount of hours spent hunting. I have pretty much hunted this on and off since it got beaten last time over 1,5 years ago. This track is probably the best map in the campaign in my opinion and I found it to be one of the most enjoyable maps to hunt. Feels really good to be the first to sub .3 here. My WR: 51.258 Former WR: 51.312 ( 0.054)

So I've been playing some turbo lately and have been hunting a few STMs and trying to finish of my goal of getting all RTMs. I got the STM on #122 after about 30 mins or so and decided to go for WR as I absolutely love this track. Probably the most unexpected WR I have ever driven. I haven't hunted this track since last time I went for it (105 days ago) and I somehow got it within 5 or 10 minutes of hunting today.
