Whenever I think of her drawn back tone in this song, I think of Regina's character traits. Regina George is a character who doesn't physically confront you. She gets you by hiding in the background and making things happen by manipulating people mentally. So I always imagine her as like some sort of sneaking predator in the shadows, circling her prey. I’d be so curious to see you react to Taylor Louderman, the stars in the alley performance is an pretty good (legal) video, I’m sure there are bootlegs of Taylor but legal recording are smiled upon. I took the affection, one as a confirmed fun thing Taylor did in rehearsals that they liked and kept for the character. I like it because it is that slightly Marilyn “I’m innocent, but sultry” sound which works for Regina as she has a beautiful exterior but is obvious a Mean Girl.
I absolutely love Renee Rapp’s voice! I feel like this song has a very James Bond feel to it. I also feel like she sounds a bit like Katie Thompson at times (who I also love)!
if you think shes impressive just standing there... she literally would do this song 8 times a week, in a corset being lifted repeatedly by a bunch of guys and STILL sound just as or even more perfect than this video

Yeah I think Taylor Loudermam is the one singing in the tiktoks since she was the original singer from the cast album.
And to think she did this eight times at week whilst being thrown around the stage by several male ensemble members. Very impressive!
