From what I understand Soto liked the family atmosphere the Mets provided. Cohen had Soto to his home to interview and stress that point. Apparently the cold business organization atmosphere was not to his liking. They wouldn't give him a suite for his family and last year multiple times treated his family like trespassing immigrants which made the difference. 5 million dollar difference was not about the money Yankees fans sorry. He dated the Yankees but married the Mets 🤓🥳🤩
Yes. Security guard last year at Yankee Stadium told his family they couldn’t come into the clubhouse. Steve Cohen gave his family a suite at Citi Field for the whole time he’s on the Mets. Steinbrenner refused to do that and told him he had to pay for it. 😂 Hal didn’t even form a relationship with the guy and he was on the Yankees for an entire year. Aaron Judge didn’t call him once during the off-season. Then there’s the money. No brainer. He’s a king in queens and not #2 like in the Bronx.

We need Anthony Santander and Teoscar Hernandez. Starling Martes prime is done, Juan Soto should DH. Santander should play RF, Nimmo and Siri can share CF and Teoscar can play LF. Winker and Marte can come off the bench and be a part of a strong bench mob. Without Santander and Teoscar, the Dodgers will beat us again. It would be foolish to take Lindor out of the leadoff spot. Changed the whole season around, he got hot, and never really cooled off. He's much more comfortable hitting in less pressure situations where he doesn't need to be the main run producer. This showed immediately when they moved him out of the 2 and 3 hole.
I wish the Mets trade Marte & Acuña to the Kansas City Royals for the 26 years old MJ Melendez (LF & Catcher) a Skill talent it player!!! Also I wish, if Pete Comes Back ,use Him as A (DH) Keep Vientos 3B and Trade Baty to the Minnesota Twins for the 26 years old José Miranda (1B) ,and thats a Fuck%$#@!
