Vamp is a curious case as I somehow get why his fight plays out like this. The Beauty and the Beast unit that usually serves as a boss are each combining three members of the previous games boss squads (the emotion of MGS3s Cobra Unit, the animal codename of MGS1s Foxhound and a weapon similar to a MGS2 Dead Cell member). Vamp is not a member of that group but rather a surviving member of Dead Cell making him Raidens unfinished business in a way similar to Ocelot being Snakes unfinished business. So it does make sense that it's Raiden who kills him after Snake removed his healing factor.

Arkham origins was a good game that deserves a remaster as it is shut behind streaming on playstation, we have all the remastered games now, so just do it. Especially with the rubbish Suicide squad kill the justice league

Fighting the elusive man it would be the dumbest thing ever, and shows how low you understand his character, the ilusive man was a man of words, a charismatic man who attract others by his knowledge and persuasive speeches, even in the comic book he wasn't the generic army man guy
He was supposed to be a boss through a lot of development.

@@Paraludic why because he experiment with his own people like he already do, because he had a power to control people like how he control people using his resources, like how he sold humanity just like he sold it before to get the geth and reaper tech? Yeah a hole new monster was created
@@ParaludicWould have been ideal to make him a lengthy, difficult dialogue boss like some of the encounters in Deus Ex or Planescape instead of a shooting boss.
To be fair considering how Warden Eternal was handled it's better that they didn't make you fight either playable Spartan.

To be fair, at least Snake actually GETS to fight Vamp before Raiden shows up, even though Raiden is ultimately the one that kills him. The same could hardly be said about other boss fights listed here, for the most part.
I was surprised that the Panther King wasn't a boss fight in Conker. General Scales was also kind of the same in another game Rare made. I barely call General Scales a proper fight. If you do fight him the fight just ends. You can also just stand there and have him dance around you until the game decides to end the battle. Why didn't the Panther King just use a stack of books to hold up his table? It would work better than Conker's corpse.
Deathstroke can heal rapidly so even Batman would have trouble keeping him down. Deathstroke would not be taken out with a single punch.

The Alan Wake one doesn't count because you fight it in Alan Wake 2. Technically you do fight it in the first game as well just not in the form of Mr scratch. It's just actual Darkness at that point.

Have to at least partially disagree with the Deathstroke point. I never found the tank battles with the Batmobile to be suffering of any kind. On the contrary it was the driving sections that made me dread the Batmobile. Trying to control that nightmare through Gotham's narrow streets in vehicle mode was like trying to drive a parade float through a grocery store. Will grant though that Deathstroke and Bats should have had a more personal encounter and the tank fight should have been with someone else. Maybe the Knight himself.

Got to disagree with Illusive Man. He would have been easily killed by Shephard unless he was majorly augmented or something, and as decisive as the ending is it would have been a lame final boss.

If you cannot play a boss battle does it count as a boss battle the answer is no. Instead it should have been 10 boss battles we never got because saying boss battles you cannot play implies of the presence of a boss battle to begin with you could have also 10 characters who should have been boss battles
