I love how you show that being vegan is not restrictive or boring. It’s so delicious and makes you feel good inside and out! I’m definitely going to try the curry 🍛

Fats are generally crucial for your body. Fats don't make you fat, sugars do. If you don't eat enough fat you'll overeat, + won't lose weight healthily because you need good fats to lose weight.
I appreciate you being so candid about your past with disordered eating and how you're struggling a bit with body image. I feel like everyone struggles with these topics now and again so you bringing them up while you were also just living your life and having a seemingly fun day made me feel more normal for struggling with these things as well. Thank you
I am amazed at you knowing how to use both dark and light soysauce. I thought only we Chinese would care to make the dish look darker for better appearance lol.
Been following you for years, thank you always for such real, wholesome, helpful, beautiful videos and ideas and advice! You are stunning in so many ways and I'm thankful for your work and presence in the world. Xx
Honestly I've felt so miserable with my ibs lately, I started to get a bit worried that I won't be able to eat anything I like anymore. But seeing you still living your best life food wise really puts my mind at ease. I'm on the hunt for some products as well that will help relieve my symptoms. I've kinda put that off for a long time, bc for some reason I sometimes blame myself if I've got health issues and then don't find the help that I need, when in reality there's nothing wrong with accepting a little help from the outside. Loved the video 🌺
This was a cracking video, thank you! I'm not vegan but am always looking for ways to cut down on animal products/ increase my veggie intake. Feel very inspired 😊 I'm away to make a batch of chicken and rice soup now (trying mushrooms and chestnuts as a substitute?! 🤞) X
10:12 very easy with oyster or shiitake mushrooms! You can try buying wheat straw blocks with the mycelium online and grow your own mushrooms from there :)
Would love to see a vlog with you and Zanna cooking vegan food and maybe a walk in Cornwall? Zanna is so lovely and no doubt a good friend. So impressed with the cooking demonstrations so easy to follow. Thank you for a very mouthwatering relaxing vlog. 🦋
Such a beautiful video! You look so happy. Love seeing how close you are with your family. Your videos have always made me smile, but they’ve just been so fun and great lately! ❤️🌈
OK so I've watched about nine of your videos now looking for healthy, easy recipes... I had expected (was also happy to entertain) a certain level of lecturing, call it being sanctimonious maybe about all the benefits and reasons to become vegan. I'm a non-vegan who's encountered a lot of irksome vegans irl who are the type who give veganism its stereotypes, which has only served to put me off them and what they were saying... BUT I have to say your content is fantastic. You explain things in a very friendly, very neutral way and your content is really and down to earth. Your food looks awesome as well! Bravo!
Usually I don't comment about the music but girl that bass line while you were showing the berry smoothy was fire! 🔥🔥🔥 Got me dancing while cooking lol
I think you should check your gut for allergy with gluten see if you have any bacteria in your gut as well. You have to see a specialist for that like a holistic doctor. Regular doctors don’t do much with that. It would definitely help your IBS as well.
Your food vlogs are always so mouth-watering! Something you might try... I saw a recommendation to never cut mushrooms but to tear them into pieces instead because it helps preserve their natural structure and the flavor and texture is better. I started doing this with porcinis and can recommend.
Side though.. I also have IBS. And had gastric bypass 11 yrs ago. I started taking a supplement called SeaVeg capsules (100% vegan). Has made a world of difference in the ibs and getting the nutrients I'm missing from eating meals. Love your cooking and videos. Not vegan or vegetarian but leaning very heavily towards the switch. I can give you link to their website if you need it.
Oddly my most recent blood test showed too much vitamin D! I’m vegan, live in Canada, rarely see the sun (lol) and take only 1,000 to 2,000 iu of D3 a day. So I would have agreed with you before that everyone needs it, but now I recommend getting your levels checked.
Love your videos, Madeleine! Found your channel early 2020. I work in Whole Foods so had to work through the pandemic and you brought me so much peace and serenity at the end of crazy days. But I am sooo jealous of the liquid gold!! Can't get it in Boston yet. Congrats on the new house. And truly, thank you for all the joy you've brought me through your food and self love journey ❤
I have never commented bevor on your videos but felt like it today. I really really enjoy watching your videos. You inspired me to become a vegan myself and I’m at 4 months now I believe and it’s wonderful. Your way of cooking and your view on food helped me so much the last months! Thank you so much for your videos , ideas on food, interior design and just for your presence on RUclips. You are really just wonderful and I wish you the very best☀️💕 give Roxy a pet from me:)
I was definitely interested in the probiotic, but super expensive 158 pound for twelve weeks, far too expensive if your on a budget and trying to eat healthily
Thank you for sharing! I love watching your what I eat in a day/week videos. I get so overwhelmed and bored with cooking and your videos always give me inspiration and the motivation to try new things. Some of my favourite meals of all time have come from your videos so thank you! ❤️☺️
Hi Maddie! Loved this video, so entertaining to watch but informative as well. Could you share the song that was used from 3:41? It's so nice and suits the vlog style so much ✨
Love the video! That barbecue looks delicious! Is your family vegan as well or did they accomodate for you and Alex? Oh, btw, because you've been using flax meal for omega3s. Afaik you shouldn't heat it (like in that porridge), because it destroys the omega3s (and might even do bad stuff to them). In general I read it's best to freshly ground flax seeds, for example in a coffee grinder, because ground flax seeds are incredibly vulnerable to oxidation which destroys the omega3s as well. If you want to grind a larger batch of flax seed you can keep it for a few days refrigerated in a tightly sealed glass container.
Ooooh yummmm! I need to do more roasted veg!! I have IBS tooooo, have you ever tried Papaya enzymes? I'm seeing it alot on TikTok lol and might give them a try too! Lovely vid
Currently watching your videos and a new follower and love your content 🥰 I was wondering if you know of any books about mindful eating or anyone to follow etc. Thanks In advance xx
I love the pink porridge...you inspired me to make it from a video of yours back in time and I got the goji berries and all. It is divinely delicious especially with the maple syrup. Thank you!
I just sat down to have this isnt bacon for the first time as u recommended it xD i loved it!! Crazy u had it in the video too lol thank u Madeleine ^^
Love this what Madeleine ate in a week video and the food was awesome 👌 Great that you're managing to eat your own home grown salad crops from the garden. Love🥰🥰 both of you.
I remember your pink porridge and i agree, it’s sooo good! Love pink porridge! I also make a purple one with frozen blueberry and slice almonds (or almond butter, but the slice add a nice crunch!). They are my fav kind!
The clip of you looking like a mary poppins child and enjoying a biscuit and a cup of tea in the garden is the most english thing I've ever seen 😆

Btw, add your chia and flax meal after your porridge has cooled a bit. Omega-3 fatty acids are not heat-stable!
