Today I'm building a custom Mosquito-shaped asteroid mining space station. Inspiration struck when I got bitten by a mosquito and after swatting at it I thought that might be the perfect form factor for a space station.

Actually , mosquito like spaceship concepts exist in reality , it takes oxygen and hydrogen from comets and use like fuel (if I remember correctly) .

00:44 Going to sound like a complete nerd here, the part of the body that the Mosquito uses to suck blood is called a Proboscis, many insects have them, for example; Butterflies.
Next could you make a better skull basher it was my very first Bionicle and I would love to see you make one.

Fact: Mosquitos’s mouth/syringe part is actually 5 segmented parts (the main part and 4 other parts used to inject the venom that causes some people to not notice the bite). And, last time I checked, some lasers are also segmented in 5 parts (the laser itself and 4 parts that cover it), so technically…
Replace the needle with a gun that could shoot a laser far more dangerous than Ultra Necrozma’s *“LIGHT THAT BURNS THE SKY!!!”* XD

A line of Insect/Animal base spaceships would go extremely hard, PLEASE LEGO!
I love the idea of bio-mimicry here. The mosquito as a ship is a creative concept. I can easily see the Proboscis acting as pump to extract stuff like water or hydrogen or other liquids and storing them in what would be the abdomen. The eyes could be used as the cockpit for the crew and finally the legs are landing gear.

Fun Fact: there already is a mosquito spaceship thing, made by Lego. It’s in the Galaxy Squad line, witch has to be one of my favourites.

This kind of reminds me of a story I think of every time I slap a mosquito.
It’s about the far future where humans relocate to planets outside of Earth, and on one of them exists the apex predator that is giant but can easily swing out attack faster than sound.
Humans have to travel through the planet with mosquito-like machines, using them to collect plant-based material for their lives.
At the same time, women are now unable to get pregnant anymore. The good news is that they are able to make specialized mosquito planes that only women can ride, and those planes can take the woman and her husband’s genes to create babies. The bad news is: that in order for it to actually work, the plane must excavate the giant’s blood.
The story is about a pilot. She was “pregnant” at the start of the story, and was having the time of her life with her husband, but one day, when excavating blood from a sleeping giant, it suddenly woke up and squashed her. She was able to survive, but one of her arms was stuck, and the baby's incubation chamber broke down. Her husband rushes to the rescue but is squashed and didn't make it. And because her arm was stuck, she couldn't save her child as well. In the end, even after cutting her own arm off to free herself, she couldn't save anyone. The giant thinks she is dead and dusts her away.
After being rescued and brought back to the human accommodation, she becomes depressed and tries to end herself, but never succeeds.
One day, she was asked to travel to the world outside again in a long campaign of collecting material because of a famine in the accommodation. With the thought of venturing out can finally get herself put out, she agrees. Over time, she grows a motherly relationship with another girl in the team.
The end? I don't know. I feel like it’s only natural for this story to end in tragedy where the woman sacrifices herself to save the girl, and then the girl returns to see that humanity has mostly died out because of famine, so she ventures out into the wild again hoping to one day rebuild human society in this planet. But it’s cruel and hardly fitting because I don't like such a bad ending. Another ending may be about how they all make it back but in that cruel world where one unlucky moment can take away everything? Nah.
Anyway, it is just a little story I am usually reminded of whenever squash a mosquito that was drinking my blood, knowing full well that she is absolutely pregnant and has hundreds of souls in her belly.
Sometimes I regret studying biology, and accept that ignorance truly is a blessing.

I absolutely LOVE this! I grew up with an astronomer for a father, so I got to know a lot about planets, spaceships and the likes. This is such a beautiful creation and it feels like something that would actually be built today! Great work as always!!!

And I know you’re probably gonna be like well duh, but like I’ve watched a lot of technic and Bionicle build videos.i never heard them called that until after I found out from the brick link studio

Hey Mitch, the next video you should do is the takanuva you had build and give it more accessories though I do like the weapon he has and that back pack the he now wears as a hitch hiker pack I don't, but I wish you would've added Jala's mask around the waist area and/or made the Ussanui bike he had in the Lego set hopefully you make a video of doing that and I love your builds also leave a heart if you agree.

And also I think you can make all of the Lego builds that you made into a real Lego build you can probably make your own company and build more Legos or mean Lego builds just like that and rebuild all of your Lego builds make some boxes then put all your Lego builds inside of them and you can probably go to the Lego market and put all of those Lego build in some of the places inside of the store

I don't know if it's intentional, but the asteroid reminds me of a drop of blood in space which helps with the mosquito aesthetic.
I have a challenge for you, could you use pieces from the ben 10 series?
