I’d love to see some obscure mechs, like a Max Reebo mech, a Salacious Crumb mech, or a Cantina Band mech. You could probably make mechs for every single Star Wars character honestly

Releasing those arm and leg pieces was literally the worst thing that LEGO ever did. Now everyone uses them and there’s no knee or elbow joints anymore. It literally feels like we’ve regressed in terms of designs.

See, that's what the mech sets need to look like. Your design is cartoon-y (but not in a bad way), it's extremely detailed, and it'd make a great shelf decoration. These other mechs though, just don't hit the mark. In the same price range as the 3 Minifigure pack sets like the clones, with only one fig and a build just doesn't make them worth it, however your design seems far more worthwhile of sitting in that price slot, maybe add a Mando or IG-11 Minifigure and boom, much better.
i really dont like what theyre doing with the small mechs, it just feels like theyre trying to go for the least amount of pieces in the weirdest way, by making new molds for whatever reasons (first where the pre-bent knees which you could sort of explain, but now this whole spine piece which is just 4 other pieces welded together??)
If Lego does continue to make mechs for certain themes, I hope they have the mechs in more variety and not the same build scheme. Aside from that, I like the design of the mech you made.

I bought a couuple marvel mech sets for the figs. The mechs were crap, but then i ended up getting 3 CMF wolverines in a row and ended up turning them into sentenels, soo it all worked out for the best i guess

This is definitely better than the other ones, not just in looks, but it also kinda makes some sense for star wars, for some reason
At first the head looked too big, but in the end after you bulked up the body it looked good. Overall, it looks great!
