Finished watching Scot side of the challenge, now started watching Steve's. Both of you should do another one. How far you can go from Dundee and return in 48 hours. Just love this. This is a must, popular demand. More challenges with Scott. Great video thank you again Steve, Scot and Alicja.
What a terrific video! Whatever group in Scotland is responsible for increasing tourism should take a serious look at this video, because it really made me want to get on a plane and go there as soon as possible. Truly wonderful video, as always
Easily the best video of two blokes riding around Scotland on buses and eating cake I've ever seen 🤣 But seriously this was a great watch. That one-minute advantage Scott had at the start was always going to be difficult to claw back. If only one of your challenges had been to shoot a video of a guy running across the street with a TV, things could have been very different...
Well done to both competitors and the referee! So fun to watch Scott's video and see Steve from a different point of view. Sorry the guest house was so poor, hope you got some good rest back in Montrose!
Wonderful video, lads. And Alicja was a brilliant referee. I'm so jealous of all these train trips you're able to do. Our train network here in Australia isn't nearly as interesting. I visited Fort William a few years ago with some Australian friends who were living and working in Glasgow. It's such an amazing place.
The first train I ever went on was in Australia. I have an aunt that lives in Springwood, Sydney that’s a lovely journey & one I made regularly to hit the wonderful beaches around Sydney. To this day I still haven’t been on a U.K. train.
Your videos are so much fun! I’m addicted! Binge watching at least 3 a day. Good thing I’m retired. Gotta love RUclips when there are genuine, sincere, and caring adventurers like yourself. Stay safe!
Absolutely loved it! Two big kids having fun. I was convinced Steve had won, it all seemed to go so well. Well done Scott, what a victory! Steve very gracious in defeat but I know he won't rest till he has his hands on that trophy! May there be many more of these - really great fun!
What an absolutely fantastic video - there were no losers in that contest, brilliant stuff altogether (although it reminds me why I don't ever travel by Coach/Bus).
I absolutely love these two videos from you both. Absolutely no idea why I've suddenly become interested in two lads who travel all over on trains and planes etc, but since discovering both of your channels a few months back it has been a delight to watch you both. Makes me miss home a bit, might need to come back to the motherland and see how much Glasgow has changed. Have a merry christmas when it comes guys
You've written exactly what I wanted to say. So many familiar places I've not seen in years. And of course, it was raining in Fort William! I'm busy catching up on all their videos.
As someone who's tried to make the most of her U22 free bus travel, I've become very familiar with the maze that is Buchanan St bus station, and my congratulations go out to you for finding the Fort William bus! Great video as always Steve, I enjoyed it a lot!
If you want another challenge, how about visit all the "letter from America " locations... in Scotland of course! Here goes Wester Ross, Lochaber, Sunderland, Lewis, Sky, Bathgate, Linwood, Methil,
Well done Steve, Although you didn't win the Travel Challenge, You did win the Travel Report Challenge. Not only was you Video clearer and Audio more informative, your editing skills are always a winner Mate. I would love to a challenge like that someday as there are so many great places in Scotland I would revisit. It's always nice to see Alicja taking part in your videos.
This was so fun, what a great brilliant idea. Quite a whirlwind journey for both of you. The referee, as always, was excellent. Fabulous as always Steve.
Brilliant work to all involved! I think Scott lucked out with getting the route where more intercity transport options were available overnight. The Dundee cake looked seriously nice though! Looking forward to the next challenge.
You should both do this again Steve! I thoroughly enjoyed it!! You could also maybe do some travel videos together in the future? Maybe some longer ones? I throughly enjoy both of your channels and you both produce to notch content!!!! Keep it coming mate!!!
I don't know exactly how you do it, but each week you come up with an amazingly interesting video. A transport challenge? Doesn't sound very exciting but I loved it. Thank you! I enjoyed the walk in the rain. Great work.
12:08 I feel your pain, my GoPro is forever freezing and nothing I can do other than take the battery out then put it back in again. It is sooo annoying, especially in winter when my hands are freezing or it's raining or summat. PS, I love watching your video's, you have learned me so much. Thanks Steve.
Who knew your hunt for an oystercatcher in Tórshavn would prove so handy... just a shame it didn't send you the other way around Scotland! Great challenge. Fantastic refereeing. Revenge will be sweet on the next one... though it sounds like you got a pretty good deal with the forfeit!
Hi Steve & Alicja, A novel challenge, but Scott's timing was slightly quicker on the anti-clockwise routing, never the less an interesting challenge that you both participated in. All the Best to everyone involved.
What a great challenge! That guest house did you no favors Steve, but you gave it a good go! Your video is definitely motivating my wife and I to get back to Scotland. I am so jealous of your train system. We just don't have anything to compare over here in the USA, nothing like the comprehensive system there in Scotland. I love watching the train travel videos, well, and the buses and planes as well. The scenery is just stunning!
How charming, a traditional Scottish challenge in which spending the least amount of money wins more points than finishing first. Kilts next year please gentlemen.
What a brilliant idea for a competition! I follow both of you so this is perfect😀Hard luck Steve! Better luck next time: I, for one, am looking forward to it 👍🙏…Terry
Cheers, Steve (and Scott and Alicja) - that was a fantastically fun episode! And, albeit fleetingly, I've never seen Inverness so clean or empty - it must have been the weather! Thanks again - cheers!
Absolutely brilliant Steve and so much fun, you and Scott are great together along with beautiful smiling Alicjia. Please do more of these, what about a New Year special from you all meeting up at 12 oclock midnight ( The Bells ) somewhere in Scotland ...that would be amazing ... thankyou all for great viewing 👍 😊❤
Discovered your channel last week after watching Steve's video of Travel challenge around Scotland'. Immediately watched your version. Great fun!! Just loved both videos and fascinating to see the challenge from both your viewpoints. Hope there will be more such challenges. So now following your adventures. Couldn't wait for today's video. Thank you so much and now watching you and Steve rather than Netflix. - and am no kiddin'. 😄
That was an awesome challenge, I hope to see more of them. Steve, surely the man with the TV should have earned you bonus points. That gave me a good laugh.
Absolutely brilliant. Well done both of you. I thoroughly enjoyed that and well done to Alicja for being a brilliant referee. Thank you both so much for making such wonderful videos for us all to enjoy 🙏👏⭐️⭐️.
What a great video and thanks for introducing me to another channel. Love that you pointed out Kinghorn and Kirkcaldy, my gran lived in Kinghorn and we spent all our holidays travelling up from Liverpool to there and now my dad has moved up to Kirkcaldy so it's always great to see it.
My absolute favorite drive in Scotland, on the A-82 going north from the Green Welly Stop through Rannoch Moor, Glencoe and Ballachulish, ending at Fort William. Another fantastic video Steve, thank you....always brings back happy memories for me!
@@killerqueen9298 Only if I was maybe 35 years younger I would consider such a walk. But you're correct and I do know it is a lovely walk for a friend from Potsdam and her mother did a hike from Crianlarich to Bridge of Orchy and their photos were stunning.
Thanks for reminder Dundee is a visit location not to be missed. RRS Discovery is looking really good. Appreciate you and Scott doing this challenge. Very brutal in terms of sleep deprivation.
Oh I love Scotland.. Especially seeing Glencoe and Fort Augustus was a nice unexpected surprise. Made me think back to January and the amazing fish and chips I had there and the stunning wee Loch Ness boat trip as well. I have to go back soon.. You do such a great job with these videos. It's just so relaxing to watch, it gives you loads and loads of tips on where to go yourself the next time you're there and especially if you're a foreigner traveling mostly by yourself, it shows you how accessible these places are and that you don't need to rely on organized group tours only :) like in another of your videos, a place I wouldn't think of and you just take a train, the ticket is good for the ferry as well, no biggie.. Whenever in Prague and down for a wee break, feel free to reach out and the beer's on me ;)
Brilliant. What a great fun probably exhausting challenge. The film location challenge was the exact one I had in mind for you. Such an iconic moment in Scottish film history. That bus journey to Fort William is indeed a cracker rain or shine. I'm off to watch Scott now. I think the next one should be international. 👍😁

One of my favourites so far...you totally inspire me. This has to be one of the best ways to see the Scottish countryside... definitely gonna try it some time.👍
Great video Steve, we really enjoyed it! Loved your reation to Scott's t-shirt. 😄 Alicja did a great job being referee and judge. Can't wait to see what you all do together next.

I’ll give you some bonus points for the nice shots of Kinghorn and Pettycur Bay! Having watched both it’s definitely an advantage doing anti-clockwise as Scott was able to keep going through the night between Glasgow and Edinburgh, whereas there aren’t any options from Aberdeen overnight.
That was mint Steve! Such a great way to show us around and a fun challenge too - I'm so looking forward to the next time you do this. Scott will have a new subscriber in me as I'm heading over to his channel now 😊

Totally agree! Prefer this and Steve Marsh to anything on TV at the moment.
this kinda entertainment might as wel be the end of oldschool push service tv (where some old, rich people chose what we watch)
