I have a 2016 Limited LTZ. Just upgraded all interior to LED. The driver side rear dome light is only getting a tiny amount of power (i plug led in and it lights up just a tiny bit, not at all compared to all the others.) Does that whole housing come down so i can check the wiring? Hoping someone can inform me so i don't break anything.
So I did this but the driver seat reading lights stopped working along with the camera after I replaced the glove box bulb. Probably a fuse (I hope) but which one?
Thank you for your interest. It is entirely possible that we do. However, we do not have the bulb listed in the database. If you are interested, you can send us an email directly at help@precisionled.com, and we can recommend a proper replacement.
Hi Ray, these are the 6000K Crystal White Color. Check the link in the description. Near the bottom of the product page you will see a color chart showing the difference between 6000K and 8000K. Cheers, -PLED Team
Hey how it going had a question if can post a video of the mirror turn signal and headlight parking lights and or turn signals was wondering what I can use
Unfortunately, we do not have a video for the turn signal, headlights or parking lights. However, the installation should be very similar to what is shown in the video. You can find the products directly on our website if you simply search for your vehicle.
Thank you for your interest. No, you do not need a higher fuse. It sounds as though you either have low quality LEDs installed on your vehicle, or possibly your battery is not performing efficient enough to properly run aftermarket LEDs. Have you had your vehicle's battery checked out to ensure it is performing up to par?
Unfortunately, we do not have an install video for the 2018 Malibu just yet, as we have not yet gotten our hands on one out here in Los Angeles, CA. However, the installation process is virtually the same for all vehicles. The halogen bulbs are very easy to access with our trim took kit, which comes complimentary with all of our interior LED packages. I would recommend having a watch on some of our other DIY videos, and you will gain a general knowledge of how LEDs are installed.
Hey Precision Led i have a 2013 Chevy Malibu and i bought the LED kit for just about every part that you showed in this video. my only concern is changing the front map lights because im afraid im going to break one of the 4 clips what is the best way to take off that piece. i did buy the tool set as well. it looks like in the video you put some force into it? not sure how strong those clips are. any advice you can give me on how to take it off? thanks!
Anthony, The actual clips are metal and are forced into a rectangular slot. You will need to apply slow steady pressure to remove them. Concentrate on removing one clip at a time. We did this several time in preparation for the video and each time it took a decent amount of effort. If you have the tools, just wedge the tool in between the housing and the overhead-console and twist the tool like you are screwing a screwdriver to separate them. Hope that helps, -PLED Team
Is it necessary to use a conversation kit? And why. I've been doing research and have read that you can use LED bulbs in a halogen fixture. Which is better, Xenon or LED?
Yes, the complete conversion kit is necessary, as you would have to install a ballast with the bulbs, as the bulb is a very powerful LED. Both LEDs and HIDs do indeed have their own perks. Either can be brighter, depending on the quality of product purchased. We believe we have some of the highest quality products on the market today, which we back with a warranty. Also, LEDs are known to last slightly longer than LEDs. I have linked some additional information below for your convenience. www.caradvice.com.au/278125/headlights-explained-halogen-v-hid-v-led-v-laser/

Unfortuantely, we do not carry the signal lights, and do not have very much information on them. However, I would expect them to be very similar to replacing the other lights in the vehicle.
Hi Erick, Yes the lights will fade on and off. The fade will not be as gradual since a halogen bulb and LED bulb act differently but the effect will be the same.
What LEDs are you referring to exactly? There are a variety of different sizes. However, when purchasing with PrecisionLED, we do the research for you so you don't have to bother. All you do is simply select your vehicle, and we take care of the rest.
Took me literally 5 minutes to get everything changed out after watching this. Thanks PLED!

Hi Nick,

For the map lights. Will they fade on and fade off when u open the car door?

Yes the lights will fade on and off. The fade will not be as gradual since a halogen bulb and LED bulb act differently but the effect will be the same.
LED bulbs are SO much better.
