LSUs schedule shapes up very well for the tigers. Toughest 3 games (ole miss, bama and ou) are in Tiger stadium. Last time weebels and gumps played ther they both left BR with a L. sooners will be there for the 1st time. That will be an eye opener for them. Death valley will be in rare form.
As for the other 9 opponents. As of now CBK has LSU in a much position than all of them.
It will be tougher for Texas and OU to win the SEC than it was for them to win the Big 12 but it will also be tougher for every other SEC team to win the SEC than it was before they got here.
Fans are going to have to get used to the idea that 10-2 is a great year that could likely end up winning a championship.

He did it again with the 30 thing man. I was heading into 7th grade when he took over not the 2nd. How much older would you have to be if all you did was watch sports non stop from the time you were 4 til then while only loving one team in college football to understand letdowns or mediocre teams? We seen USC dominate, the fear the thumb with auburn. Bama breaking Tennessee's 7 game win streak only for Tennessee to beat us the next. Rohan Davey and Josh reed lighting us up. Beard and Galloway. LOVE LOVE JOSH PATE to death, but if I ever meet him in person, he's wrong and I'll tell him. If you know what it's like being on a great little league team versus a mediocre team, then you understand what it's like to root for a mediocre team. But hey we're now just a bunch of grown men talking about a game we adored when we were children. I would argue that I felt it more.
The NIL is the current equalizer for now but at some point it will get regulated and the powers are right back in charge. Believe That.
Is it really the great equalizer that everybody claims or did it really just expand the actual big players from 2 or 3 teams to 5 or 6 teams? Personally, I see more top level teams raiding the best players from lesser teams to continue stacking an already packed roster than I see mid-table or lower teams ascending to relevancy.
Transfer Portal will prevent that.

Pate is all about money .. he wants to attract a large audience by talking about teams with the biggest fan base. He has said so . Ole Miss has a relatively small fan base, so Pate won’t spend much time on them. With Pate, it’s only about money

Hopefully officiating 17:26 gets much better with Saban gone. The SEC and their refs were pulling bama out of 2 losses every year.
