- I want to show you and explain the easiest ways I have found to do cat eye/magnetic nail designs. I also show how I found a way to do butterfly wing designs too! And YOU ALL GET TO MEET ONE OF MY BESTIES!! HAHAHA. I thought this was a fun way to introduce her. Say hello to Handgela!

@teresav968 I linked the one I use here in the description its the one i reach for all of the time but born pretty has some great ones that you can get on amazon and you can always make your own too! You can get magnetic powder off of TEMU and Amazon and can add it to any gel polish to turn it into a cat eye polish. 😻 I hope you're doing beautiful, Teresa. OK, I laughed way too hard at that, especially the business finger. :D I have that exact same silver cat eye, it's one of my favorites - always responds well. I am so boring with my cat eye looks, I just do the "velvet nail" look where I push it all to the middle, then push from top and bottom, then pull down. I just love that look, it looks so good under jewelry lights and outside. Have you ever done the gel stamping overlay on a magnetic background? It looks especially good on a dark background with a black topper.
YES! Mission accomplished then! Was hoping to make some people laugh with that 😉 the velvet look is my ABSOLUTE favorite thing to do with cat eye polishes. I've never done stamping over it, but I've seen videos where people do it and its beautiful. I'm not a huge fan of stamping cause I suck butt at it. I've never ever been good at it. I've tried it a few times, but every time I get so frustrated, I wanna throw everything across the room, lol. I was terrible at stamping with normal nail polish, but with gel I can totally take my time and now I do it more often. :D I just don't usually wear dark sets so i haven't done the stamping overlay in a while, but I have also seen people do criss-cross nail art, too. I'm getting ready to take my nails off and will probably do something mild and summery pink with a cats eye. :D Boring, but I love it. I forgot in summer how fast they grow and I don't like the natural nail getting too long under the extension! Hugs!
@LydiaKrow not boring at all. When I'm doing my nails outside of videos, I'm boring all day. Either frenchies or some kind of velvet color lol, well excpet for halloween and christmas. Those times I go all out on my nails, but I understand completely being "boring" with your nails (i dont think its boring at all). I need to start following nail trends, lol. I've always kind of stayed in my own lane with nails or did what people wanted which was nothing fancy here where I'm at and then I just draw ideas in my book and then do them. I'm not big on watching other platforms/social media at allll. RUclips has always been my jam, and funny enough, I don't watch shorts hardly at all. I'll have to check out the criss cross design! @@HaleyDawn85 Oooh same! Halloween is my favorite holiday so I go all out - nails are def festive for the whole month! :D And Christmas, too. Autumn is also my fave season so I change my nails up a LOT. haha! I'm also only on YT, but there are lots of great channels that stay up on trends more than I do. I like watching a lot of the Korean channels as well to see what they are doing (and picking and choosing things in my wheelhouse). It's funny - if I'm not doing simple pinky micro glitter I'm doing full on goth or Halloween or deep Autumn. :D
@LydiaKrow heck, yeah! Totally my style. I love Korean creators, too. They make some amazing nails. Like, things I would never ever think of, makes sense why 99% of the trends come from them and what they do/create lol. I've actually been playing a new video game, so outside of that and making my videos, I haven't watched many videos from anyone in the last few days, so I gotta catch up! I'm sooo excited for Halloween. It's when my dark side gets to show a bit 😉 and I do A LOT of hand painted art, which is my absolute favorite. And kind of the style that's my favorite too. Get to be kind of outside of the box if that makes sense, lol. Christmas for me starts movember 1st hahaha. Christmas has always been a huge deal around my house, so I love the fall & winter time. I am one of few people I think who have never actually tried holotaco. Lol. Their polishes are STUNNING, though. The only reason I haven't tried them is because I tend to stick to gel products BUT with that being said I might just have to try them out for those who can't/don't use gel products. I can not imagine that they are bad in away, though, with how many loyal customers they have and how many people just rave about them. I can't personally speak on them, but I definitely wouldn't tell you not to buy them from everything I've seen and read about them they are great. I'm sure your niece would love them! One of the Korean girls 쥬네일JOUNAIL Does a really cute cat, I don’t know how to link video sorry .. was a couple weeks ago, she also does the sea with waves , looks cool.. miss jo spent ages trying to perfect the black hole (I think) or something similar it was a good effect once she had done it , she likes playing around with cat eye and has done some good ones..

@amandaann3272 for the most part, it really has to do with the strength of your magnet. I have found a couple that aren't very good cat eye, but that was just because there wasn't enough magnetic pieces in the polish itself. I hope your having a wonderful day, Amanda! I appreciate you so much! Xoxo
