    It looks like Eject plate of mold base. (With limit switch pocket) Works great and nice surface!

    Nice! Love seeing how others come up with different ways to machine a part. What model machine is that?

    Can you share the link for the clamping system. It looks like a glorified version of toe clamps. Did you ever had problems with parts pulling out with this type of clamps ?.

      These are great clamps. They are manufactured by the Czech company Kastr, the RSVS MINI product. upinace dot cz

  • @knuckle5911

    oh I can see that this plate is only supported on the corners and the center od workpiece is im the się not fixed at all. How did you manage to mill holes in the center of such a large piece without damaging the inserts on the high feed mill?

    • @CncFrezar
      @CncFrezar  Год назад

      The plate is quite thick, so it went well.

    Nice. There are better ways for this Operation,i think. But it always depends on machine and Tools. Still Like the way you Show real practise. Too much Demo milling on RUclips just for clicking.

    Can you talk a little about why you put it up on just four small standoffs? Talk about your reaons, thinking of vibrations, bending, weight... ?

    • @CncFrezar
      @CncFrezar  3 года назад

      It was enough for the thickness of the plate

    I miss running big heavy parts. With aggressive heavy milling the rumble could put me to sleep. I'm a 4th generation machinist, I've been at it for 10years now. I eat sleep and breathe machining. Where would the world be with out us machinists?
