With so many custom jobs in here, you should have included Jeremy Clarkson's three story custom motorhome with a zen garden and shrubberies. Sure it fell off a cliff, but until then it was looking good. Especially on the highway.

I guess with a vehicle like that you would be able to hold a lot of fuel in the back. And you could also take over some fuel stations if you were armed.

Actually, "Ape" is not an acronym but the italian word for "Bee".
In the same way, "Vespa" means "Wasp". It was named like that since Enrico Piaggio, looking at the first prototype running on the test circuit, exclaimed: "It looks like a wasp!" referring both to the scooter shape and to the "buzzing" motor.
I like the second one. It is compact.
I don't understand the need to 'take it all with you' if you trying to 'get away from it all'.
Not everyone is trying to get away from it all.
Actors for example want all that luxury because when making movies on location in remote parts of the world, they want all the luxuries of home since they are stuck there for months on end while working every day.
Some folks just want to travel around the world to see the natural beauty of it, but don't want to leave behind all the benefits and luxuries of civilization.
Not everyone uses mobile homes to more or less go camping and pretend culture and society don't exist.
Number 2 on your list. The Elemment Palazzo Superior is 45 Feet long and not as the video states at 7:35 45 Meters long. 45 Meters equals 147 Feet and at 3 feet short of being half a football field long would not be able to travel in most cities or on most roads. It’s probably an innocent mistake that wasn’t caught during editing.
PolarBearPegLeg I cringed when I saw that. A vehicle 45 meters long with no articulation wouldn’t be useable many places.

I was disappointed. They didn't show the inside.
I think that Wothahellizat is the perfect camper not only can it withstand the elements of Mother Nature it looks like a vehicle that can get you to those places the Winnebago only dreamed about.

Joseluis Rivera I mean it makes total sense, tons of living space and the truck hauls weights greater than your house on a regular basis. The only concern I’d have is fuel costs

I was impressed with the variety of extreme RV’s, having been an RV Park mananger in Brookings Oregon, where we have the largest percentage of millionaires on the west coast, where we have RV parks that cater to the high end Motorhomes, such as Newell’s, Prevost, and other million dollar toys, we had an average of fifty two spaces and totaled over sixty million in value, Located in Eugene, Oregon is a shop which will build to suit, i think the funniest joke was when the fellow steps down from his custom RV, an a guy in overalls asks the fellow in the silk sports coat, how he liked driving a converted bus?
I am in love with the Neverwashaul. It has so much character and certainly an eye candy I want one. Because if you're going big and selfish on the road at least you have to entertain and distract the people and the traffic.
I did the mechanical engineering on the Haul. We built the entire thing out of scrap and The engune was a 4 cyl 1950s flathead.

Fought my way to 4 minutes before the transition effects did me in. The outback photographer's rig (at around 3 minutes) looked really great!
meanwhile back in the real world with my Coleman Cabin tent,Igloo Cooler and Zebco rod and reels in back of the Ram 1500 Tradesman pulling a Lowes 14 foot utility boat with 9hp Mercury outboard all for less than 36 k headed to the state park........

I remember seeing that Airstream with the Olds front end setting on a flatcar on the Royal American Carnival train in the late sixties.

I seen one motor home that was here locally a few years ago that was made on a Cadillac chassis!
the builder kept the nose just like the Toronado but built the whole camper on top

Your choice of presentation method leaves a lot to be desired.
If I were to build a custom motor home, I'd start with a modern double deck coachbus (not one of those red London buses) and put huge water, fuel, and sewage tanks on the lower level so I can take two showers a day for month-long excursion without needing any service.
Thats my dream too, put the heavier stuff on the bottom: tanks, kitchen, batteries etc. Uostaira can be the hangout lounge, smoking chairs, lotta windows etc

Hungry Guy That's a lot of water! If a shower uses a fairly low 12 litres a minute, and each shower takes 10 minutes, that's 240 litres a day, 7440 litres a month- in other words you're hoping to carry 7.4 tons of water?! Think your plans might need a rethink!

I saw a Volkner in Mesa, AZ they hauled their car underneath! In the RV world, larger is not always better. Very limiting as to where you can park. Truck stops, and the side of the road gets old soon . ☹️
40 ft is not amazingly large for an RV, you can fit that easily into almost any RV Park. Especially in AZ.
I wouldn't mind camping in a tear drop camper.

I was at the Burning Man when Neverwas Haul debuted. I was biking along the Esplanade when it pulled out of its campspace and went for a jaunt across the Playa. Hard tack to starboard! Follow that Victorian!! Awesome vehicle. A highlight of my last desert Burn.

That clip of the haul truck driving over a pick up truck. You made a mistake using that clip. In that video, somebody was crushed to death inside of that white pick up truck. It's a mine safety video called: "Fatal Mistakes" and it's a video by caterpillar mine equipment company.
Jack Davis : If you go to the You Tube video "Mega truck - Dump Truck Runs Over Car" it clearly states it was under controlled conditions. No one was in that SUV when the mine truck ran over it. As you said it was a mine safety video, made in Queensland by the mining company. How likely would it be that it was an actual accident that just happened to be caught on camera and used as a safety video? It was staged.

I am an RV Service Technician and no matter how much they are the problems are pretty much the same before you buy one make sure to get a full PDI and at least 2 year warranty and make sure you take some one with you that knows were and what the problem areas are to make sure they won't be an issue for you.
