We need to get to fully automated vehicles as soon as possible. No speed limits. You could literally travel at 1000mph, 100% safely. No more being late. No more breakdowns. No more crashes. You could get a patient to the hospital in seconds/minutes. Or a fire engine to a scene in seconds! Millions of better uses than we have today.
300,000 for a vehicle that CAN fly but is very limited to where you can legally land it just as any other. If you are rich but can’t quite afford a private jet and only want to travel a few hundred kilometers that has an area you can legally land a helicopter at then this is great.
Probably won't even be street legal either, so why spend millions on R&D on these things just to find out that nobody can use your product at all, let alone find people can't use it to its fullest extent?
