      yeah - and the graphic didn't show any room for batterries - and no actual engine components, or any drive/engine/fuel/control components at all as far as i could see.

    300,000 for a vehicle that CAN fly but is very limited to where you can legally land it just as any other. If you are rich but can’t quite afford a private jet and only want to travel a few hundred kilometers that has an area you can legally land a helicopter at then this is great.

    • @Dumbrarere
      @Dumbrarere 5 лет назад +2

      Probably won't even be street legal either, so why spend millions on R&D on these things just to find out that nobody can use your product at all, let alone find people can't use it to its fullest extent?

    • @Dumbrarere
      @Dumbrarere 5 лет назад

      @Aerial What's inevitable is out of the question. What the question is is whether or not it will even be street legal in the United States.

    I hope the people building the TF-X went back and looked at the V-22.. There is a reason the blades on the 22 are so huge. It takes a LOT of force to go from forward fixed wing flight to a Helicopter type flight. In fact one of the reasons the 22s where crashing so often early on was the engines could not apply the power needed to go from Forward flight to hovers.

    Considering the fact that there are now regulations (and required permits) for even small drones (0.5 lbs+), the whole "flying car" thing is not going to be what you'd consider widely marketable. Even if it's not immediate they'll quickly have regulations and you'll absolutely have to take a course of some kind. Maybe not as intensive as a pilots course, but probably very similar.

    • @raggedclawstarcraft6562
