I've been getting a lot of gear for camping from snowys and I'm very happy with all the products and the service 😊

That's great to her, thanks for your feedback, Stephen. ~ Ben

These are almost perfect. The one thing that sucks is that cover for the USB socket will eventually break off and you can't buy a replacement part from GME. The USB port will eventually fill with gunk, dust and whatever.
It would be amazing if GME could make this spare part available.

Thats really great feedback @andrewford80, we're happy to pass on to GME aswell.
I'm looking at grabbing some new radios, and I agree it would be handy to have the option of spares.

@@SnowysOutdoors I'd love it if they did make it available as a spare part. They didn't see super interested when I approached them about it but perhaps adding more voices to the Choir will change their mind :)

Thanks guys, great video. Would you know roughly the range on this little radio?

GME don't provide distance specifications, are there's no universal answer and a whole host of variables that can affect this. You could maybe get anywhere from 1-7km from these?? But again, its impossible to guarantee a distance.

    Distance ??

It's really dependent on the terrain you are in, spArks. On completely flat ground without obstructions you may get 4-5 km but throw a buildings or hilly terrain in the mix and the distance could come down to about 1km. There is plenty of information out there but I have never seen anything that specifies exact distances because of all the variables. ~ Ben

This radio gave me an epiphany. I'm over smart menu driven gear. Bring back dumb buttons.
A nightmare to learn and remember.

      Dumb buttons are certainly underrated
