What I resonate with most from Marie Forleo's video is the idea of "creating before consuming." Prioritizing my own goals and creativity in the morning helps me feel more focused, work more effectively, and start the day with a positive mindset.
11:31 this reminded me of advice that aspiring authors get from best selling ones and even I see this in almost all in every niche I've came across, "if you try to make something for everyone you're going to end up creating something for no one." 😊
What a powerful way to put this. "create before you consume". Also I love Stephen covey's work. I love that you do dance. I stopped dancing at 30 and there was no reason for me to stop. Thankyou for making me remember not to forget the things that ignited my spirit.Saying no helped me a lot too especially to the stressful things. My mental health improved a lot when I did that.
I love all of your amazing insights and mentorship! I am so grateful to have your fabulous voice reminding me how to make myself and my lofty goals a true priority! xo
WOW! This was great. I have always known to end my day with gratitude and intentions for the next day so that I can wake up running. However, I often do not do it because I am wiped out by the time I choose to go to bed. Kind of like brushing my teeth and taking the dog out one last time. LOL. Just do it during the day. How simple and obvious!!! Duh! Thank you. I will start doing this.
I listened to this while I did some rebounding and it was so great! I felt physically and mentally good after. It kept me focused on my movement and I got some great info along the way. Thanks Marie 🙏🏻
Amazing video Marie. I relate to your fifth tip, due to this: I felt quite stressed yesterday because I got hooked and a little obsessed with the RUclips Studio app, checking it in my phone seven or eight times, and I decided to take a completely different approach through the analytics. The same could be applied to other harmful habits as you said. I really like some of your tips, and I am sure they will improve dramatically my daily life. ❤ ❤
I love listening to you. Applied to many of your principles on previous videos too. As a new 2 month old channel it’s helped me huge. In many ways. I’ve evolved in so many ways this year and still growing
Love this video! The content was easy to understand and love the quality/ aesthetics too. 👌🏽 Thanks so much! Got me motivated to get back on track and incorporate these in my life 🫶🏼
Love your content and everythihg you sharee here. Im huge on #3 and thats the best way for me to sort of say-- im done for the day and this is for tomorrow Great tips. Thank you! 😊
I am completely new to your channel and subscribed. Nice informative content and very beautifully explained 👌. And you look very fashionable and gorgeous along with the awesome talent.
your business has been successful before social media. That's why I'm a fan! My cell phone is my alarm. I work on b-school first thing in the morning. That's another reason why I look at my cell phone when I wake up. That's all online.
You have a million subscribers, yet it feels like you're only talking to me. Some things are hard to listen to, but the message changes my attitude for the better.
I can't concentrate on anything until I've taken a look at my email, taken a temp on what's going on in the news, etc. So I do about an hour of that (probably often too much longer for sure) first. I just have too much anxiety about what I'm not seeing in email/the news. But it's worth it to make it not the first thing you do in the day. First thing is taking care of yourself -- showering, getting coffee, making your workspace nice. Then dive in. What I create is often shaped by the news/online conversation so it's a part of what I need to prioritize for the day.
Time leaves our hands because we are busy. Nevertheless being busy doesn't mean not having time, but having it and using it. Only, sometimes, we need to remember We are the Time, and time can't escape if we are it.
14:34 i am not sure what could be my gazilian ways to set up a work space…. Really i really think where i work in my bed room is my only option but its not working. I am a musician and i am having a really hard time finding any other space for noise issue, nobody wants you to make that noise that they can hear. It has to be sound prof to others, open in the morning, has a space for my music stand and recording gears, access to bathroom, close to my house because it is less productive to go hour+ away with all my stuff with instrument every time, lugging that will be physically hard, and affordable = such space does not exist. What do i do?
I bought a digital piano with earphones and volume regulation button. May be changing the instrument could be an option? I know it costs money but at least you can play even at midnight without disturbing anyone.
@@arpih.2840 my instrument cannot be converted electronic, the whole point of instrument changes if I did that. It is a completely different instrument when you switch to electronic, and for different purposes it might work but the reason i practice is to practice making noise on a real instrument not to mimic electronically.
i meditate the first thing in the morning then do my workout at home but with both i use youtube for guide every single morning.... does this mean im consuming before creating
I think that's a dangerous suggestion. If your an entrepreneur some situations are time sensitive and if you're doing yoga instead of answering emails that could cost you thousands of dollars.
But that could be attributed to anything including sleep. Why sleep for 7 hours, why take care of your children, why have phone on silent while you enjoy a meal..... when you could be answering emails instead. The list goes on.
I don’t touch my phone in the morning!🙈 I check my email an hour after I’ve started work. I make my matcha tea and sit on my front porch with my calendar. 🫖 📆 I feel so much better starting my day with calm. 🧘🏼

The concept of focusing on a few key tasks really resonates. It gets overwhelming trying to do everything, and learning to say no could really help.
Yes! Focusing on what truly matters and learning to say no is so powerful. 💯
