- Hey family! I've decided to share my journey to modesty with you all. I hope this video empowers and encourages many. Feel free to leave your comments and questions down below, I love interacting with you all. Also be sure to take everything back to God, if you have any questions or concerns or if you need clarity.

This video is so relatable sister😌 Praise The LORD Jesus!! Before I fully surrendered, I was walking around in dresses/skirts with lime green braids🫣 When I was in the world, I loved experimenting with different colors in my hair! What convicted me was that I was drawing attention for the way I looked and not because of Christ in me. The Holy Spirit has done a number on me too sis! I hope you are doing well and enduring through Christ Jesus🙏🏾

The Lord has convicted me on these things awhile ago and I took heed but then I started wearing pants again recently. I’ve definitely slipped back and allowed the world to dull my convictions but I am encouraged and I am blessed by you Sister. The Lord has spoken to me through you and I am grateful. God Bless you! ❤
Hey sis! I'm so happy that you are encouraged, GOD has a way of communicating things to us. The enemy is definitely intimidated by what GOD wants to do through you, he will try to keep us tied to our past, but I'm so happy that you have been encouraged, and I'm so happy for the path that GOD has set you on ❤
Praise Jesus! For submitting to him! I myself have been feeling led to to change my style of dress and although I do not wear makeup or dress immodest however I do feel led to stop wearing jeans to church but I have been battling because I want to look “good” or others are very stylish etc. I have been slowly wanting to look like the world and I felt convicted months ago about covering my head during prayer and church and when I went to others about it I was told it’s not for us but I realize we have to submit to the holy Spirt and if God calls us to do something we need to be obedient because he’s doing something within us… I believe our confidence truly comes from God and being modest.Thank you for your obedience this encouraged me to be obedient to the Holy Spirit and not worry about Other peoples opinions.
You said a key point: obedient to the Holy Spirit. This takes boldness in a world the accepts the world over the word of God. The great thing about being obedient to the Holy Spirit, is it allows you peace of mind. When other Christians look at you with a strange look, you know the God you serve, so it allows you to pray for those that are conforming to the world. We have to put our flesh under the subjection of the Holy Spirit. God is faithful to help us. We have to step out of world to truly encounter the Living God. Pleasing man is a sign there’s a lack in our soul.

May God bless your soul, sister! So beautiful to hear. God has brought me on a similar journey and it has been very lonely. I am a relatively new follower of Christ. Very early in the journey God convicted me to cover my hair. Modest dressing followed shortly after. Now, I feel elimination of makeup coming as well. I don't have many people in my inner circle of faith. Then, to be called to do things that the women of Christ I do have around me don't understand or judge is hard. This loneliness in following the callings of the Lord will not stop me from heeding them. However, I didn't realize how much it was impacting me until I saw your video and a few others of young women sharing the same passions. Thank you so much for this! It truly was a blessing from the Lord for me to watch.
May God bless your soul as well. I am honestly touched by your story, it is not easy to follow through with the convictions of the Holy Spirit because it goes against the will of the flesh. I pray for more grace and strength over your life, because I know from personal experience that at times this walk with God can feel lonely because the people around you don't really understand your faith. But remembering that God is always with you, keeps you motivated and grounded. I am really happy that you yielded to the voice of God and followed through with the convictions, I am proud of you, but God is even more proud. You are not alone sis. Shalom sister! I hope that you're doing well. I am a young girl like you too, and the Lord led me in the holiness (external and internal) as well. I know it's not easy, but let's not forget that we are doing the will of GOD. I am really happy to watch this video. This is a tangible example of Joel 2:28 and how the Lord Jesus is rising a new generation to serve Him mightly before He comes back. Be blessed in Jesus Christ name. Man..I listened to your story and I felt the LORD'S heart in this. I had tears because this is what God wants for women who claim to know Him. As you said Sister they don't want to let go of vanity. As a man I have been try to preach on this but every time you bring something up like this women think you are try to suppress them. I tried to run from the truth for a while, because I had gotten so used to a certain lifestyle, I saw no way out of it. I was caught up with the fact that I saw other women of GOD wearing makeup, weaves, pants, etc. GOD gave me the understanding that my journey with Him is personal, I will have to speak for myself one day, no one else. And so I took that conviction very seriously, and today I'm confident in who I am in Christ. It is my prayer that my life would be a light to many. Thank you so much for the encouragement! First from having "things", then to worldly dress to a modest long dress and now He is calling me to a head covering. Thank you for this video. I started exploring modesty because of a testimony from Sister Linda Paul Rika. She went to hell for 6 hours and the Lord sent her back to warn people. She speaks about inward and outward hoilness. She also talks about modesty. Her ministry is called holiness revival movement.

This video made me cry
Sister, Keep serving and teaching the truth of God. One thing God has made me understand is, he made the animals first but they never complained or change themselves. They maintain and appreciate how God made them and their attribute with their smell. Humans are changing themselves to suit the world and the kingdom and Satan and self sertisfy. Changing their smell, body color/tone, hair, body shape etc by applying different sort of stuff to smell good, color change, hair change and covering up God aroma, design he put on them. Every human being has disting smell and features that God gave them. Conviction comes in different ways. Becareful with that which you allow to convict you or that which you accept or that which you approve to practice. A day will come it will either approve and made you acceptable to God and his son or it will condemn you to hell. Sister preach on . I pray for God to continue to reveal and bless you with the spirit of truth in Christ Jesus the only son of God. Be strong and courageous. Hold on till the end.

How do you let God change your heart fully? I really try shifting my focus on God but I keep getting distracted in the “fun” of this world and not like partying or all that but I’ll be soo occupied with having friends at school sports, doing fun activities and that’s kind of dangerous because we are going to leave all the things of the world behind but that somehow is sinking in my head.
Thanks for sharing your story. I wondered why I wasn’t as convicted as I’m hearing you and others on RUclips say. Maybe because I was already trying to make those changes, or perhaps it’s because I wasn’t doing what you and the other RUclipsrs were doing. Many of the women I heard here on YT stated that they were dressing a certain way, wearing makeup, etc… for the social media likes, or in other words, validation from others instead of validation from God. I wasn’t a makeup person and never really been comfortable wearing revealing clothing. Nor do I have social media accounts. However, I do wear pants though, just finding it hard to transition out of those full time.
You are most welcome. Maybe it is because you did not make these things an idol like me and the other women on RUclips. For me personally, these things were an idol and I could not do without them. It's really amazing that you were not bound by these things. With your conviction about transitioning from wearing pants, ask the Holy Spirit to help you, because on your own you cannot do it. I pray that the Lord would give you strength for everything He has called you for. God bless you❤️

Im the only one who wears a head covering at my church and no one has ever said anything to me about it and I find the only ones who are bothered by a woman wanting to cover her head is demons 🤷🏻♀️🤣

Religion teaches people don’t eat, touch or wear that. My sister, the time of ignorance God has overlooked. She don’t need to do nothing but listen to the Holy Spirit that guides her and she will be ok!
Yea, that’s just legalistic. God is so much more than man made rule keeping.
