Maaan, if the LP came with rapid triggers it would be something, I just can’t drop my pro mini for this reason. The 65LP was one best performing the low angle on the wrist, the quick switches. Hopefully they can manage to get that to work in the future.
Rapid trigger doesnt make much sense on a low profile keyboard tho. The switch is already low enough to bounce back up very fast
@@mike_nba - respectfully disagree. Rapid trigger is about the "release of the key enabling a new activation" - that has tremendous benefits regardless of keystroke length.
snake oil
@@8020Alive rapid trigger doesn't make that much of a difference stop kidding yourself
The 65LP was lacking all those necessary keys and was stopping me from maining it over the Apex Pro, this one covers that. Can't wait to get it in Nordic layout!
I heard about low profile mechanical keyboards a few months ago and I always used regular mechanical. I recently bought the Streak 65 and I'm in love with it, I'll never come back to a regular mechanical keyboards ever. I feel like I can write faster with less mistakes with a low profile keyboard. It's just perfect for me.
Would love to see a video of your main gear on the desk going into 2024. Surprised to see you going back and maining the apex pro tkl. I couldn't stand their switches. Too light and just didn't sound good. They need to get some foam in their boards in 2024
You aren't going to get a gaming board that sounds good. Get an entry level custom if you want that
Would be cool to a see a review on this keyboard I got on Amazon the XVX S-K80 75%! The listing price being only $100 really surprised me compared to how much it offers. Crazy diamond in the rough build.
The only thing that gets me down about the board is the opaque keycaps. Probably has the crispest linears I've heard in my life though!
was dead set on my x2h mini being my main/end game but i seen your vid on ergos so i picked up a xlite v3 from microcenter and i gotta say my x2h hasnt moved in about a week lmao definitely might turn into my new main waiting to see how the v3 mini feels but judging off how the medium feels im 100 percent sure the minis gonna be my new main
I keep the X2H and the Xlite V3 on my desk, two dang great mice!
Looks like a decent keyboard for the price if you like Low Profile. I have a brand new Realforce 104 (Topre switches) sitting in a drawer, in the meantime I use HyperX Alloy Origins Core - RGB with Aqua (MX Brown-like switches), such an amazing keyboard for the price, especially during BF sales. Bought another one with red switches during the BF sales for £52.99 instead of £100. Also got the HyperX Pudding PBT keycaps.
I have the SS Apex Pro Mini wireless, which I love. I have most key switches set to .2mm actuation when I play Destiny 2. The one thing I don't like about it is that I have to keep the software running to save my static led setting.
But Ngl, I like what this Fnatic oarf offers. I've always wanted to try low profile switches. I would've gotten the 65 lp version, but the white kb was always out of stock on Amazon. The only thing that would make the Streak 80 LP perfect, besides rapid trigger, is if the switches were removable. Oh, and a metal case. May just pick it up anyway.
Thanks for looking out, T. Happy New Year's to you and yours! 🎉🎊
This is right up my alley. I’m currently using a ducky one SF that I’m happy with but if this was around, I would have opted for it instead being a “fan” of low profile. The Logi 815 is too expensive IMO
I wish they made this with analog switches like wooting
Aaah... Just bought an 65LP some months ago... Would have loved to get TKL...
There are only 2 points i would love:
- Wireless
- Give us the ISO-Layout back :(
Low profile is the only way to go for me.
I prefer Razers linear optical switches. I just like how quiet they are over a traditional switch.
As someone who bought the (Legacy) Apex Pro TKL (£99), I needed a new keyboard (the old one broke) and I was curious to try out the rapid trigger, adjustable actuation, etc. I'd need to try the 80LP, but *low profile makes more sense* than adjusting actuation via firmware/software.
It actually requires more effort to try and lightly press a key like these Omnipoints, as they're so easy to get close to or fully bottoming out. I find it hard to make use of actuation control past about 2.0 mm or so.
With the live feedback bar regular typing shows I go to at least 2.0 mm and typically well over that-- as far as 3.7mm. That's almost a full key press (4.0.)
Edit: I'm glad you called a coiled cable corny. I've never understood it either, and like you said, why have a cable coiled like that that's half the size of the board...
Imagine a Steelseries Sensei X Wireless Fnatic Version with the best switches and sensor.
Wow, didn’t expect you to say they sound phenomenal. I couldn’t hate the sound more if I tried 😮
Detailed review!! The brightness not saving issue should be fixed in the latest firmware update!
@The Techne....arguing that low-profile keyboards are ergonomic is the same argument as saying that high toilets are more ergonomic because you do not have to squat so deep...use a wrist rest if it is not ergonomic for your fingers ffs if non-low profile keyboards are too high for you
hey now, Taller toilets are much better
Great content as usual bro! Really appreciate it!
after using apex pro and wooting with the contactless swtiches it's hard to go back to the regular switches coz they feel scratchy and they don't even bother lubing them Yikes. just go apex pro or if you obsessed with lubing and other stuff without using macros on your keyboard go for wooting. putting regular switches and they have the audacity to charge you above 100$ LUL
I see that WLmouse Beast X sneak peak 👀
been testing it for some time now. I will be doing a long term review vid coming next week :)
@TheTechne Looking forward to it 👍
Hey Technie can you review the new AZOTH moonlight keyboard?
Hey Techne, how did you like the Streak80 LP compared to the Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro since they're both TKL low-profile boards with fast actuation?
Streak 80 LP for me. The DS V2 is great but them keycaps suck
Razer switches have lower travel, so they should feel more low profile than the Fnatic. Fnatic has 3.2mm travel vs 2.8mm that the Razer has.
MY DAWG. Always on top of it 💯
The non wireless killed it for me!!!
how is the quality of the knob? it looks a bit loose and cheap.
its metal, and very stable
Okay bruh, i saw it! Wheres the review on the WL mouse?😂
next week, long term review ;)

Too bad it only comes as ANSI not ISO.
I don't get it
@@rajyavardhansingh4491 The layout bro. The keys are different.
@@rajyavardhansingh4491ISO is EU layout and ANSI is NA layout
@@GHLz0mbraa oh thanks

I have a wireless keyboard and it lives on my desk like 95 % of the time anyway.
Every once in a while Ill want to lay in bed and use my keyboard but I would just keep a wireless keyboard in my drawer and my wired keyboard on my desk if I still wanted to do that
I would like to see this keyboard witch ''CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE RGB SPEED switches' 'In my opinion the cherry low profile speed are the best for gaming and typing.
@TheTechne Awesome review how always Thank you :-)
these khail switches are really nice actually
@@TheTechne Thank you for Your replay. I will try the keyboard :-) ❤
