Just installed this addco sway bar on my 2005 Mercury grand marquis , it’s worth every penny. You can really feel the difference. It doesn’t take away the smooth ride either.
I just replaced my rear sway bar with the same part but used the Energy Suspension end links. It took a little bit of maneuvering, but it worked. I had to use my floor jack to get the end link into position so I could tighten them up. I also had to use the OEM Sway Bar brackets. This video was very helpful. Thanks.
I was going to just put on my new moog end links but after seeing how tiny the factory bar is, I want to upgrade it to what you have. Maybe I can find a police interceptor with a bigger one for cheap.
For those who are complaining to Mr. Johnson to " Hurry up and get your shop" why don't you donate to Johnson's Gee-rage Shop Fund so he can get his shop faster!? Hint hint wink wink. Complainers should cough up the Benjamins!!! That would make a great bumper sticker or t-shirt!
Great vid...clicked on both links, but I was born yesterday so what is the difference between both links? Besides the sku and price the parts looks the same according to my 05?
Hey 👋 buddy I have 05 LX, ordered rear and front sway bars, turned out my CV has no rear sway bar on it, it does have a ring on the Axel and some long link attached to it, there is a place where I can attach the sway bar, what do you think?
I have a 2004 grand marquis that does not have a rear anti-sway bar. Do all of the Grand Marquis have the parts already on the frame to install an anti-sway bar in the rear or do I need to get any brackets or other parts to install one.
Just went to swap my Marquis' rear end with a 3.55 P71 diff and realized that my Marquis doesn't come with a rear sway bar or mounts for the end links. Is it possible to add the new sway bar system without a ton of fabrication?
Ah never mind. I just caught it; its the brand and ADDCO is more expensive than Dorman while ADTR is $219.61 with the kit or just $189.99 for the rear sway bar.
so ya dont need one, but its nice to have, you'll probs notice a difference even if you put the stock one on, im not sure, i dont have one either but ima get one soon
Lincoln Low Addco 650. It’s pretty good. It didn’t add harshness to the ride, still rides good but handles much better. Car requires less steering input especially with bilstein shocks.
I've got a 92 lx that I'm about to get the tires redone on, and I have a linkage thats blown the bushing out and is now rattling. would it be easier to take the tires off to get to the top of the linkages? I figure with the tires getting new rubbers they'll be off anyways. Any help you can give me would be awesome.

This video was a huge help. It’s an easy upgrade and the ride is much improved. Need to do the front sway and maybe think about those bilsteins.
you know you trust your jacks, when you comfortably keep your shoulder under the tire
Yeah, I was cringing. I wonder if he turned off the air suspension switch. :D
I would remove only the upper bolts of the sway bar end links only because you will replace the sway bar.
Put one on my 93 Mark VIII, factory was tubular and subject to rust thru - also put the ADDCO front competition bar on front - all with nylon bushings

Are you going faster or slower, I have a15 mm on the way, guessing I need a bigger bara

And I think ADTR works for the 03' - 11' CVPI where ADDCO only works in the front for certain ones. I am getting ADTR for my 2010 P7B.
Hey bud mine does not currently have a sway bar do I need to install it? I’m hoping I still can I can’t retire it at this point

Thank you, Whats the Addco Model Number for the sway bar. Definitely going to install The same Sway Bar.

Might be a worthwhile upgrade for mine someday. Mine has a wimpy 17MM diameter sway bar on the rear.

About time !!! Missing the videos
Chris Weyler we have a bunch coming up.
Off topic and very old, what kind of mpg did the Crew Cab F-350 pull?
Did the sway bar end links come with your new sway bar?
Yes
Wat rear shocks are you running
Bilstein 4600
Did you only replace the front shocks? Will you do that for the back?
Taking the tire off might've made it a bit easier to reach the bolts
Ayy not really it’s a pain in the butt to work on Any car on the ground the tire is peace of mind the car can’t crush you aswell
@@bmjca123 huh?
You should've used a 14 mm since it's more close to a 9/16
So the 25.40 is worst than a 15.3, I just purchased a 15.3 for 2007 interceptor
NAH. The ADDCO kit comes with 9/16ths End Link Bolts and Nuts.
Panthers are Metric from the factory. Use a 9/16ths on the ADDCO bars.
Change your rear control arms to che performance arms or shop on the adtr.net site lots of panther stuff.
What does that improve? I have a 2011 vic
@@TheKing-nu4fk It improves the handling in the rear tremendously.
Will the adtr fit a 2007?
@@AZDESERT2024 it controls the sway of the rear end fishtailing is from spinning your wheels.
