    You may be misinformed on the Cadillac issue. The Cadillac ATS for the Chinese market will be made in China. The Cadillac ATS for the American market will still be made in Lansing, Michigan. Not sure about Caterpillar and China, but I know some American companies partner with Chinese companies to manufacture goods for the Chinese market.

      No, the One World tyranny is just about to take over the globe. By 2030 the destruction will be over and the few trucks still useable will be finally aloud to run without the oppressive emissions systems again for a few more decades. Then technology will finally be able to reduce toxic emissions without robbing the working man of his hard-earned profits. However, between 2021 and 2030 2/3rds of the world population is going to be destroyed.

    With a 23 gal DEF Tank, you can get close to 7,000 miles of driving before having to refill the DEF Tank. Being a professional driver, you should be able to anticipate the filling of your DEF Tank. If you're so dense as to let the tank get low and you do not refill your tank after you fill with fuel, the truck will only go 5mph-not derated while you drive.

    • @kirkbrown2147
      @kirkbrown2147 3 года назад

      If a driver allows his fluid to get so low that the truck may only go 5 mph I would question that he did a pre trip inspection.

    Rising fuel costs make SCR a more attractive option. Most of the world pays considerably more for diesel than they do for Add blue.

    • @jayhyland4023
      @jayhyland4023 7 лет назад +1

      The Real Rowdy G on the bottom of fly wheel housing there is a plate with two 13mm bolts. Use a screw driver or prybar. There is a barring tool that bolts to the housing. Pretty pricey $$. I can get part number of tool for you if your interested.

    I'm all for protecting the environment, but I think the EPA regulations are becoming too stringent too fast. Thanks to the EPA, Caterpillar isn't going to be making engines for big rigs anymore. There goes my favorite diesel engine manufacturer.

    Ha ha ha so funny it’s all about Mr. Franklin making money. why don’t you guys tell the people about that damn DEF problems. I used to have trucks with the def system and I got rid of them all because they were have tons of problems and very high maintenance costs at the dealer. Pretty much everything about DEF it’s failure! And I’m sorry I would never buy a trucks equipped with DEF „|„

    LMAO!!! What a crock of shit. We just happen to own a 2012 w star 4900 sf, and the Detroit itself, is great, but the def garbage?? What a farce, all it is, is a huge money grab, for the gov, and a total loss of savings for the owner. $1600.00 to have 2 filters flushed??? 2500.00 a piece to replace???? Oh yes lets not for get the whole one box itself??? 15,000 clams!!! Shove that in yer 7 inch straight pipes and smoke it lol. I think, they could have kept this a lot more plain and simple. But nope, all about the $$$$. Starting to consider buying a horse, and carrying him between the trailer and the truck, with a gravity fed hose to the end of er. Just make sure the horse drinks 70% water, and yer good to go. Wise man once said K.I.S.S. Keep. It. Simple. Stupid...

  • @NIGHTRIDER995
    @NIGHTRIDER995 11 лет назад

    your funny guy...my v-8 cat makes 850hp to the wheels and 10 mpg....do you feel like an idiot? cause I feel like a winner best hp and mpg and my cummins pickup truck has 600rwhp and 1235 tq and 20 mpg so im happy,everybody I talk to hates newer vehicles diesel wise because all the eco,egr crap on them that's the first thing they get rid of is egr,eco crap they say it runs 10x's better

  • @chechnya
    @chechnya 11 лет назад

    Blame Caterpillar, not EPA standards. It was their choice to stop making on-road diesels. Funny how all of the other engine manufacturers were able to come out with the technology, but Caterpillar can't? Fail.

  • @chechnya
    @chechnya 11 лет назад +2

    Do you remember the bailout of GM in '09? Do you remember Oblahblah saying we saved GM? Thats because the billions they invested in GM was to ship the factories to China, Mexico, and Brazil. I am not mistaken, I know the facts and I am informing you because you are uninformed. I suggest you look it up and learn some.

    You're wasting diesel if you're using an older truck. The newer ones get better fuel economy, even with the emissions controls. People like you are left behind because you can't embrace progress.

    • @Natural-Blooded
      @Natural-Blooded 7 лет назад +3

      chechnya , progress is when something new becomes "loved by everybody" when you have "progress" that is costing you a lot of money, up to at least 40% of your earnings is not called "embracing progress" it's called getting ripped off for a highly over priced system that does not last.
      Come up with a system that doesn't cost as much and functions with no problems is when you can call it many nice names. After-treatment, Scr, One-Box, all so over priced systems that are bank rupting the nation, and mostly truckers. If you don't see it, it's because you're on the selling side of it and could care less of the harm done!

    Do not buy these engines guys! why does the goverment wants to regulate our driving freedom, what will happen if you run out of def crossing a desert is that mean you gonna be driving in hot weather at 5 mph wtf?or worse get stuck, this is stupid. if they are gonna do this 4 truckers then lets do it for 4wheelrs too. lets see how you like driving your chevy corvette at 5mph.
