Im not into matterport or iguide yet. But can you plz explain, lets say, if you do 25 project in a month, where matterport charges $69 for 25 listing but whereas, iguide charges $40 per project that means 25 listing times $40 is $1000, so how iguide is better?
I think your right, but I also think that iguide better for the long term since you don't have to pay for it monthly, so think about it from that perspective.
Hello and great video! Just picked up the matter-port and noticed their stranglehold with the subscriptions. How does it work with google street view? if you cancel your subscription with mattermort, will your uploaded google street view be dead also?
Thanks for sharing. We've been discussing the math here and what you said is confusing. You're doing 5 shoots a day and paying $40 per shoot to iGuide. Are you doing that 5 days a week? 5 times 5 times $40 comes to $1,000 per week, or $52,000 per year. But you were paying $300 per month with Matterport, and that's less than a tenth the cost of iGuide. What are we missing?
I'm doing 5 shoots a day on average but only maybe 1 in 10 of those actually book iGuide tours. My monthly costs vary depending on the number of virtual tour bookings anywhere from $100- 1000 per month. Remember that this is the cost of processing, but I am making money off the booking. Due to the speed, I can still do 5 bookings a day of photos & more.
Matterport: Love the tech, HATE the company. Every year they dont add value or features, they increase costs! Counting the days until a competitor comes along but it needs a dollhouse and slick interface, im not sure Iguide is it...
Interesting , I didn’t realize it was that expensive to use their product . I also didn’t think they had that much competition. I’ve actually been heavily investing in matterport stock for the meta verse . I will into the other company as well
@@ShootingRealEstate I will have to look up their ticker symbol .. I’m investing for the metaverse and think these type of companies are going to be huge long term
That's the thing. You HAVE to use their hardware. Just the base and you supply your Theta Z1 (1K) is $1500USD, WITH the camera the base is 2400USD. Still expensive to enter market and use when you are not only selling the 3D model/walkthrough/measurements for only a few clients.
Bull crap!! I’m staying with matterport! They’re stock going to go way back up!! They’re already up from$3.75 to $7.10 in just a few weeks!! Buy now while it’s still under $10 a shar!!

After a year. Would you still recommend this program?
Haven't looked back. I've been using iGuide now for 4 years and it's such a better more premium product.

Good question. I believe the images are uploaded to the Google cloud but I am not 100% sure.
I am sure that once the images are on the Google cloud, they are there to stay.
The won't disappear from Google Street View.
i am facing the same problem thank you

Sorry but my primary service I do is the photos which is 5 times a day or more. The virtual tours are more like one every other day.

I just wanna know what to do with my Pro2 now. It's just stored, I have no way of buying the plan
Try selling it online if you are not using it. Reach out to Realtors or Real Estate offices to see if they want to buy one.
Why not?

iGuide is a much better product in my opinion. Great support too.

Plus they have these alternate uses which is huge as well.
How much was the camera?
