The mechanic was wrong about using a 12 point socket on a 6 point steering stem nut. While he may be less likely to mar the sides of the hexagon. All of the torque is being applied to just the corners of the hexagon.
old video but I never use glue on grips I just poor alcohol in them slide them on and let dry they never move and when you want to change just blow air under them with compressor and pull and they come right off

Street racing is a lose/lose proposition for me. If I win, viewers say that I jumped the races and cheated. If I lose, they say my expensive bikes got beat by cheaper bikes. Also, I've lost over $100k in sponsorships because of those videos. What would you do?
650ib thank you for the response honestly I wouldn’t care about what people say but if it means losing sponsors I would keep racing but I would keep it on the down low and just do it for fun and not YT MOST importantly keep it between friends, bcus some will use post the races without permission and might kill sponsors opportunities. I know you still love the adrenaline rush of street smack down. Best of luck
I did not know about the r3 being a prize ? When did you announce that? Really like that color. The r1 is getting there!! Hey from the 412 its almost that time so im holding you to that smackdown callout
How did you find these grips? I tried to order the Domino MotoGP grips and the company sent me these ones instead. Tempted to try them out instead of return them.
please can you let me know what the bar ends and lever guards you have used. also how do the lever guards attach to the bar ends and can you get the level guards for both the brake and clutch
its to keep it in place extra safety Zack said it in the video. On a track bike it's something you have to do at 3 different places on the grips to make sure they never fall off. On a track bike you don't usually put grip cement because you change grips and bar ends often

I just got a black Giles tooling nut for the same spot. What's the best way to torque it on without marring it all?
4:55 That advice is seriously good to know I would have never thought to use carb cleaner for that application.
if you have compressed air or and keyboard cleaner can you can use that too

To bad Zack put the end of the safety wire on the left side on the front instead of the back as on the right side ;)
i hope i can win it....from the phillippines...

Ugh, I want to win this so so bad. It's so perfect looking, but just too much money for me to support. I really wish I could.
