Even the invaders
They were isolated and didn't share that much stuff with outer world which makes them way different looking as many other areas where colonised cities and had same colonisers .
I think you can imagine how different that time period might be they didn't always have a color scheme for cities like today and natural vegetation was way more hours gh many parts of the world were beautiful at that time
Plus Japan still has colorful vibrant places

I could take a screenshot of every frame in this game and make it a wallpaper. This is by far THE most beautiful game i have ever played till date. I would give it 11/10 for its graphics and the level of detail.

I’m a couple of hours in and the visuals still floor me. It may not be as meticulously detailed & complete as rdr2 but something about the sunlight coming through the trees and grass is just more impressive. There is also a more engaging sense of motion and speed when riding your horse around the beautiful world.
Yeah the side view when riding was a brilliant idea. The entire game has a wonderful focus on cinematography. Truly a great tribute to classic samurai movies.
Idk man but it looks better than rdr2 on my console.rdr2 is bigger but it's foliage has bad textures,no wind interaction on environment etc.got looks much better because of it
@@tgdude6379 I do know what you mean about rdr2 textures. My other favourite ps4 games with stunning graphics are god of war and tlou2 and alongside ghosts, there’s a sharpness and clarity to their worlds that i think rdr2 misses out on. That being said still an amazing game.

What surprised me is that they didn’t really show off the beauty of the game prior to release. It looked great in trailers and gameplay but it didn’t show off like this. I feel like this video should have been on of the trailers for the game leading into launch

This game is fuckin absolutely brilliant! I can’t even think of the words to describe how beautiful and awesome this game is. Gameplay 10/10 storyline 9/10 graphics 10/10. I’ve never enjoyed going away from the story as much as I do here. I’m a white American that secretly wants to live in this time and be a samurais it would be an honorable life.

Red Dead 2 has the most complex graphics ever, but Ghosts art design is currently unmatched in open world. The fact you would even list a Ubisoft game to compare to this is embarrassing

Easily game of the year for me, I took over 2GB of in-game photos in this game. That's more than i took in RDR2, Horizon zero dawn, spider-man, god of war, uncharted 4, etc. combined on my PS4. The art design in this game is second to none, the music is top notch, and the gameplay is as satisfying as sword gameplay can ever be. GOT should be GOTY
The graphics of this game is so stunning makes me want to play this game every day.

This video makes me wanna buy the game but im trying to save up for the ps5 and i dont have a job since my mom wont let me apply for one until im 16. Im 15.
My parents would have just bought me one for my birthday or something. I remember buying a PS3 with summer job money just because I didn't feel like waiting. Although I've met a bunch of people who had to buy their own as kids because their parents couldn't afford it, and that's a harsh reality in America where many hardworking families can't even afford to treat their kids. Sorry for the rant, I just feel pretty lucky all things considered
David Kitajima my brother and I bought every console and game we owned starting from 13 or so. It actually helped us appreciate it more and gave us a sense of ownership . Yeah it sucked not being to ask for those things but it worked out in the end. I feel like it connected us to gaming more ....in its own little way

This, ladies and gentlemen. This, is why Ghost Of Tsushima is my 2nd favorite game ever made, only behind Red Dead Redemption 2. Both are the greatest open world experiences anyone can get.
GoT is not on the same technical level as RDR2, but the style (while over the top) is absolutely brilliant. Screenshot simulator :)

They really did a great job with using the wind as navigation it really makes you appreciate the beauty of Tsushima. Most open world games you spend more time looking at the mini map in the top corner looking where to go which is a shame.

I've played MS and Sony exclusives since the beginning of that console war, and I have always preferred the Sony games. Just have more love put into them. This is one of my favorite games of the PS4 era, still playing it just because it's fun! Don't know the last time I remember a game making me come back to it over and over simply because it's fun.
With Update 1.1 which will bring New Game+ and GoT Legends, it will be more epic than ever.
I'm so glad I chose ps4. I don't have anything against Xbox but Spiderman and Ghost of Tsushima were so much fun. And now we're getting Miles Morales, can't wait!

The storyline is boring and beyond predictable, but maaaan is that swordplay addictive and this the most beautifully designed world I’ve ever seen. The word “absurd” keeps coming to mind, it’s absurdly beautiful, hours in I can’t help but have my mouth agape at each new breathtaking landscape. Red Dead 2 might be the most graphically complex game ever, but this is the most beautiful art design ever.

That spider lily location is one of my favourites by far.
I don't want this to date me, but I began playing computer games in the 1980's on my TSR CoCo...games like Calixito Island and RaKaTu - Text based adventures with two word commands; open door, turn pot, lift rug. I was 12 or 13 and blown away by the idea of "computer games". Over the years, certain games have taken it to new levels, but the awe is difficult to capture. I'm middle 50's now and - without any hyperbole - Ghost is the most impressively beautiful and immersive game yet. A bit like the original Far Cry...a step forward. It's a game to be adored and cherished. I envy the 12 year old's of today....where this will be in 30, 40, 50 years from now simply staggers me.

Fan Fact - did you know, that even though this game has super fast loadings while squeezing PS4 to the max, the studio actually had to prolong the loading screen, so you have a chance to read at least a bit of the tips?
