I have traveled the U.S. and I'd say that Colorado is the most beautiful of our states though I am in Ventura county California which is awesome but it has its down fall as I'm sure ppl think Colorado is to cold. I actually like both sunny and snowy days, a def season change vs the stable weather they hv in California. If I had a fireplace in California, it wouldn't get used unless it was a pit in the yard outside. I run around in shorts m sandals year round here. I lived in Va near D.C. n Washington near Seattle. I loved them both but the humidity and wet weather killed me. I think that's why my family moved from Europe to the states. Bennet clan from Scotland. And on that Coors can? 1960s is the yrs of the can. www.coorscans.com/.. this is the site I found it.. 2 clicks n vwalla!! I'd love to visit n travel Scotland, England n Ireland though. With the way stupid ppl here vote in sucky prez.. I considered leaving. Right now all the prejudice ppl are coming out of the woodwork with this gov.
Thanks Annette Petrin - as you know I find one in every single metal detecting video I make..LOL this website will come in handy. Thanks for watching! atb -KG
Love the sound of the wind through the pines back in the mountains. Especially back far enough where there is no man made sound. But it's sad to see all the trash left by the shooters. I enjoy shooting too, but I always clean up my shell casings before I leave.
I went out hiking in New Mexico once and found a spoon on a hill side. I kept it because there was an old fire circle at the top of the hill and I looked up the mark on it... It's from the California Perfume Company... I neat little bit of cowboy history circa 1800's.
I use County Assessor maps, and best of all I get permission. Best way to get a permission is to email the property owner (found by using the couny assessor maps) and then emailing that person asking for permission to do some metal detecting / be on their property. Once they give permission in the reply email, I just print it out and keep it on me when doing that property. It's saved me a few times. If it's a park, just email the parks and rec department. If it's someone's house, just knock on the door and asking is the most common way.
I found an exact same one whille detecting where a train derailed. Got good hits and started finding a lot, but had to leave because it was getting dark. Hoping to go back tomorrow.
Bullets have lead with brass coatings and the brass shells of course.. and all high metal objects will sound and ring up about the same.. So brass, copper, aluminum, gold, silver, and well you get the point, lol.. But when they are in different shapes like rings and other weird shapes, they can ring up different.. Try to hunt in Pro Mode, zero discrimination, and iron audio set at about 25. Listen carefully at those pull tab signals, because gold will ring up about the same as pull tabs sometimes, But gold tends to have a softer signal compared to a pull tab, but more of a stable sounding signal. Good luck hunting, and i hope you hit it big! Peace!
I have a Garrett At-Pro and love it. I like Zero mode best, and only use discrimination on ocean beaches..I like hearing all the iron, it also goes deeper w/o discrimination! If I was out there I'd probably carry bear spray lol
Great video -------- some tips if I may----- I've been hunting with the AT Pro now for four years and know the machine fairly well. One thing not to do ---- . never run it where your battery ios at half bar . always bring a spare pack of batteries just in case . go slow and be thorough when detecting You should be good if you follow those tips.
On the garret AT Pro pinpointer feature when it's pinpointing isn't it at the center of the coil not at the front tip like at 12 o'clock as stated in the video
hello there I was wondering if you could help me I have several claims in a historical mining district in Colorado and since your from there I was wondering how could I change some of my claims to a combo claims . Half of my claims are placer and the other half are lode. all my claims are surrounded by patented mining claims. half of the placer claims have some old lode mines at the top of my claims and half of my lode claims had mill sites at the bottom of them
Hi Ricchard, so I don't know the process of changing claims as you describe, I just haven't researched that yet. My best advice would be to do some google-fu and research for the correct answers. Sorry I can't help you, but If I come across an answer, I will comment back here and let you know. Thanks for watching!
As for your beer can, If the top is crimped on, then it's an early 70's, and some cans were made as flat tops to sell to collectors in the late 1970s and early 1980s.. But there should be a date stamped on the top or bottom that tells the date it was canned, or it could be the date the beer was brewed.. Peace!
Just started watching and glad I did. This video had 666 likes. Wow glad to take that number off your hands and make it 667. Sure it's a great video and see ya next one.
I'm glad you did your panoramic spin, You're not there for the treasure are you? I've watched a shitload of your videos end on end. I watched two vids where they found big gold nuggets, got bored. I keep willing you to dig up a gun owner's gold watch. this is way better than Netflix
Tip u may not know . Before digging any target hold the coil about 2 feet off the ground . If it still beeps it is a large object like a can , ax head and so on . If it goes silent it is something small like a ring or coin or a small piece of junk . This will keep you from digging up a bunch of large pieces of junk .
Your batteries in the AT Pro look a bit flat. I find that once the detector shows less than full bars battery power, the batteries are close to flat, and this can affect the detector's performance.
Did you do the guitar in the beginning? cause I noticed its in all your vids. What kinda guitars do you got? I live in Florida but Ive been to Colorado a few times and always love being out there. keep up the cool videos man!
Distorted Fate Yes I just wanted a simple catchy guitar riff for my intro/outro music so I just grabbed my guitar and recorded the first thing that came out. It seems to work ok. I use the guitars I build, Klesh Guitars for almost everything, acoustic and electric, also basses. Thanks for watching my movies. I enjoy nature as much as guitars. Atb -KG
Distorted Fate - I went ahead and made a new video explaining a bit more info on this comment. I also do a playthrough of the riffs. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching! atb -KG

I took the detector over to the mine entrance and found TONS of iron and so much junk, it was very hard to detect there even with discrimination set to max. Ill go back and try again ! Thanks for watching!
I carried an m16a2 and an M4, both military adaptations the ar15 yes. Also carried the m243 saw. It sucked rucking and jumping with that compared to the lighter m4
Since this video was filmed I have become sponsored with minelab detectors and now on a few different ones for my arsenal, including the equinox 800, the minelab SDC 2300, the Excalibur 2 and even the gold monster 1000. Yes all much better than Garrett in my experience.

I dont think you should metal detect. You are really bad at it! How many times do you need to hit the same spot before you dig. Gezz Louis get on with it already!
I’m going through and commenting on every video I watch. Helps your channel. Great video!
Watching this in England, laid up with a fractured pelvis and vertebrae, beautiful place mate and enjoyed your delivery!

I always look for historically significant places, and of course only in legal places and get a permit/ permission and your good 👍

Detecting in CO where people camp is horrible. I usually stop after the first 5 casings. What can I say, we like our guns😎

Your batteries in the AT Pro look a bit flat. I find that once the detector shows less than full bars battery power, the batteries are close to flat, and this can affect the detector's performance.
True and good observation!
Do u ever go to blackhawk and central city?
Yeah, once in a great while.
we opened our beer cans up like that in the 70's, Army 1972-1975

Thank you Cricket Wilson-Harris!
Cool I explore old sites with an AT gold too.
Funny over here in the uk a bullet case would be considered a good fine

Pretty old can to be opened with a church key...probably around 1965.
I believe the can was 1978 they had two holes on the top my dad worked at coors then
