I love to watch you work. You have an incredibly soothing voice.
Props for doing a proper pre wash! So much more effective than what most other people do.
Very professional! Exactly how I would start at the beginning of the detail. Tutorial & process is 100% 👍🇨🇦
Thanks very much!
Brilliant video the car turned out amazing job well done as always 👌👍
Thanks very much Paul!
You go girl, love to see us ladies keep a car clean.
Thank you!
Excellent. Really appreciate your straightforward videos. I like to keep up with new products, and your videos always have a great explanation of what you are using. Your turning out Excellent work 👏.
Thanks very much John I really appreciate it!
Brilliant work Heather, the car looks awesome, they are some good car products used on here.
Thanks Steven! They was a good set of products!
Once again another fantastic and informative video Heather
Thanks very much Mark!
I love the product and work you doing is very clean shine and beautifull ♥️
Brilliant Heather! Looking forward to seeing how that Wax gets on 👍
Cheers Jamie! I'm looking forward to testing it out some more!
The paintwork really popped after that wax. That kind of burnt orange really looks great on cars.
😎wow you did such a good job😎
Thanks David!
Another thoroughly enjoyable video! I'm not really a wax guy but pleased to hear the GT have knocked it out of the park, AGAIN, with this wax. Coincidentally, I've just used 3CS on my wife's Melbourne Red 1 series with exceptional results. Garage Therapy are, for me, one of the most exciting brands on the car cleaning scene currently.
Thanks very much! 3CS is a cracking product too, I've used that on quite a lot of cars now and had some great results with that
That looks amazing heather plenty of products used in this video all seem to do a great job I'm a big fan of autobrite they do some great stuff
Thanks for watching Dave! I've only ever tried Magifoam I need to grab some more of their stuff in a sale probs!
Another great video Heather, thanks. 👍🏼
Thanks for watching David!
another belting video Heather and the car looks amazing, that gt wax looks a cracking product 👍👍
Thanks very much Rodney! The owner was very pleased with the finish, the wax certainly did the trick here!
Great video , go foward , never look back 👍
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the video Heather. The Farecla shampoo seemed mighty impressive as did the Garage Therapy Wax. To be fair, all of Garage Therapy products are great. Cracking end result, the BMW looked truly stunning. 👌👍.
Thanks very much Karl! It was a great set of products on the whole I thought they did a good job!
First class job there Heather 👏👏👏👍🚗
Thanks very much!
Another great job 👏
Cheers I appreciate it!
Fabulous job. That GT wax looks like a must have. I like the specific curing times - too many waxes are a bit vague on this. You definitely like orange cars!
Thanks Peter! Yeah it definitely helps when the instructions are clear. I think with this one going for a very thin layer and no letting it cure for too long is pretty important but the results are great. Haha I've not got any more orange cars lined up now but I'll have to scout some more 😂
Very tempted by the GT Alpha wax, am using GT Sigma as a QD. I have a sunset orange older 3 series, so loved seeing you detailing this newer one!
Thanks for watching! It's a stunning colour
Good day,
I apologize in advance for the not very good English. I will try to express my admiration and diligence with which you work on the cars themselves. It is very inspiring if I clean my Honda CR-V hybrid, cleaning takes 5-7 hours of work. What is in the Czech Republic the disadvantage that on most carriage will not allow you to be in the box so long and another disadvantage is that you must not use absolutely nothing at all, or glove. Moreover, what it offers is so diluted that the car after washing is as wet as possible, but not deep washed. Washing outside the dishwasher is forbidden by law under a fine of $ 2200. Otherwise, you are very handy and careful.
Thanks for another useful video reviewing a few products. I use the Gyeon tyre cleaner on the windscreen wipers to keep them clean. I found the product dried quickly on my tyres when it was a hot day, I should maybe have brushed them sooner. Will be trying it again when I get the Gyeon SiO2 tyre dressing.
Thanks for watching Simon! Tyre cleaners are brilliant for wipers as well, great call!
Super vidéo comme d'habitude et surtout merci.😁😉👍
Merci beaucoup d'avoir regardé !
Great video awesome job on the car 👍
Thanks very much Rob!
Excellent job, and production of the video. Just goes to show, if it’s going to be hot and sunny, just get up earlier and sort it out before the temp heats up. 👍
Thank you! Yeah those few hours certainly make the difference!
Great job Heather. The Squid Ink alkafroth looks interesting. Good idea to start early in this sunshine.
Cheers Stephen! Alkafroth is a cracking product, definitely one of my favourite snow foams
Great video 👍👍
Thanks Richard!
Another great video Heather!
Thanks Ricky!
@@AutoCareHQ My pleasure I love watching your videos and I find your useful tips and techniques helps me with my little valet business and your product recommendations are very helpful.
Thanks to you I have started using Koch Chemie G2 and I find it provided good results! Thanks
Great stuff, Heather. Like you, I prefer wheel cleaners that can be diluted for economy. Part of the joy of cleaning is trying out new things. Another hot week to factor in!
Thanks for watching! Yeah I completely agree, trying new products and finding hidden gems is definitely is part of the fun. I think it'll have to be a late evening wash this week!
Hello Auto Care i love your Chanel nice work
Thank you!
Brilliant results the car looked great I got my delivery today of Carbon Glass so i look forward to trying it out.
Thank you! Look forward to hearing your thoughts on Carbon Glass when you get chance to try it!
I really like g3 products. I still got a tub of their paste wax bought 10 years ago and it still has enough to coat 4 or 5 cars. I really need to get my hands on GT products, I’ve seen and heard great reviews on the brand
Brilliant 🤩
Thank you!
Amazing job! We’ll done 🙂👍
Thanks very much Juan!
Top job as always Heather 👍
I had the same with the vampire liquid, I thought it was going to be runny liquid 🤣 I'm liking there yeti pearl tho
Thanks Kevin! Yep Yeti Pearl is great stuff, I also really like their Synthetic Spray Wax too. That's well worth a try if you haven't used it yet
Yor arsenal of products and tools has grown significantly of late, and the cars your working on show the benefits of them, great video again Heather. As for the car, I do wonder what the value of cars like this will be when battery technology is moving so fast now.
Thanks very much Paul! I'm running out of space for my detailing supplies now haha!
New to the GT range but have bought most of it. Going down the CS3 sealant route for winter protection I think, but will give this wax a blast for spring/summer next year.
Great call with CS for winter, it's a really good product too!
Excellent video as always Heather.
I love the squid ink Alkafroth and I’m still trying a few different applications with the GT Wax as I could not leave it at all. And I found if I didn’t Decon the paint work it was a real struggle to remove so I’m long term testing it before I post to iron a few things.
Regards Steve
Geeky detail reviews
Thanks very much Steve! I definitely agree it's not a very forgiving wax in terms of application I think that's my only criticism of it. Have your issues been with removal? I used the development version quite a few times and on the whole probably found it a touch easier to use
@@AutoCareHQ yes you are correct. I had to use a QD to remove.
It was very hard to see the application so I think I had slightly over applied also.
And left it around 3-4mins
My Volvo you’ve seen is new to me, so unsure what had been applied previously
I know they loved the Silicone dressings 🤦🏻♂️ this could be a factor also
Full Decon coming up and 2 stage before some content coming in a couple of months to keep a look out for
@@Geeky_detail_reviews yeah it's definitely one where thin layers make the difference. I also tried to wait slightly longer so close to the 5 min mark before buffing just to make sure it'd fully cured but it's a bit of a balance between making sure it's cured vs left for too long where it can become grabby. Looking forward to seeing the content!
Great video again Heather 👏 need to try the GT wax not got round to giving it ago yet in time I'm sure
Thank you! Would love to hear your thoughts on the GT wax if you give it a go!
@@AutoCareHQ in time I will just have so many products right now but sure il update you :)
Just got myself i20N 2 coats seal n shine 2 coats wax it wet man car looks deep turtlewax is king of the hill after yrs of being petrol station special
I really need to get round to using this wax at some point, looks great.
It certainly made this difference on this car's paintwork!
Just got a million other products to get through first my addictions getting out of hand😂
You should get a manual pump sprayer or electric one for the tire and wheel cleaner
You rarely see a red BMW in Germany. Most of us are gray, black, or white. Another great job from you.
Looks brown to me
@bavarianscalemodelling thank you!
Very nice
Thanks Sam!
Beautiful job you made of that heather real glossy shine to it , more great tips , heather I’m not sure if it’s the heat we have had but my lower window rubbers have gone from a not to bad shiny black to a horrible grey dull look terrible 😢 any tips for getting them back to normal.
Thanks very much Adrian! Ahh that's such a pain, you can try applying a tyre/trim dressing to them after doing a deep clean with an APC or even a tyre cleaner. I like using Garage Therapy Tyre Serum on the rubber trim on my car :)
VERT NICE
Stjarnagloss Forst - this can be diluted and is very strong - there is also Bilt Hamber Surfex HD which is water based and is amazing to use. Great review tho
very good detail job dear :) what camera you use ? its looks amazing
Thank you! I just use an old Cannon 60D :)
Hi - was that 'Bug to Black Trim & Tyre Dressing'? Left a nice matt finish...
Hi Heather thanks for another great vid. I did a full wash on my car yesterday in the sun and I too was moving it every 20 mins to keep it in the shade! Question re decontamination process - is it possible to do the tar and iron on a wet surface or even as a first stage before getting the car wet? I don’t fancy having to dry the car twice 🤣
Thanks for watching! You can use the chemical decon products on a wet surface but they just don't tend to be as effective. The tar and glue remover in particular doesn't do too well if used on a wet panel unfortunately!
Another fab video Heather. Being a weekend warrior and somewhat on a budget, or I get told off 😂, I have to ask, if you could only choose one brand to detail with, let's say exterior only, what would it be? Thanks again for the good work.
Cheers Lee I appreciate it! Hmm that's a tough question but I'd probs go with Garage Therapy. They've got a pretty complete range now and I've never been let down yet!
It would be great to see some details of your method, such as the door shuts, boot shuts etc.. thanks
I sometimes have to just crack on and do those bits off camera if time is short but I'll try and get some more footage of those bit in some future vids! :)
Hi, heather I hope you are well, instructive and enjoyable video, and thank you for showing me your wax application, do you know which product can I use to remove the faded headlight on the car, Best.
Thanks very much Jorge! I've just used sandpaper in the past or a compound on a dual action polisher and that seems to do the trick :) You can also get "headlight restoration kits" from a lot of big brands that are supposed to be quite straightforward to use but I've not tried them personally
Thanks again heather I will looking up 👍
Heather, Awesome result!👌 Such a nice colour, that orange❤. Just wondering, with parts of UK in a hosepipe ban situation can you please do a video showing us effective bucket washing without the need for hosepipe or pressure washers?🤞
Thank you! To be honest I don't have any experience using waterless wash products as I've been a bit sceptical of them since the paint on my car is super soft I'm scared to risk it. I know a lot of people swear by Optimum No Rinse in areas where water usage is restricted though so that could be worth a look
@@AutoCareHQ No worries. I was just thinking of a 2 bucket wash method also with some light decon in the mix - just to show us what results are possible without "machines". Keep the great videos coming!👌🔥👍
Hi do you do the interior vacuum etc??
BMW Super Auto👍👍👍
Relatively new to this channel and enjoying the content a lot, One question, with the impending hosepipe bans across the UK what are the general thoughts on waterless washing products ? Are they any good or do they cause too much damage to run the risk of using ? Keep up the great work. 👍
Thanks David! To be honest I'm quite sceptical of them. I know some people are a big fan of them though. ONR which is a rinseless wash rather than completely waterless gets a lot of praise and some people says it's even safer than the regular wash method. If we get a hosepipe ban I think I'll just wait it out though rather than use a waterless/ rinseless wash as the paint on my car is so soft I'd just rather not risk it!
@@AutoCareHQ Thank you for the reply. Heather. I'll take that advice and wait it out as well. Fingers crossed England does it's usual and we'll be flooded in 2 months time 😁
Must have set a new record for amount of different chemical brands used on one car today, I counted 11…Stjarnagloss, Koch, Gyeon, detail bug, squid ink, auto glanz, ADBL, Garage therapy, Bouncers, car pro, pyramid. Did I miss any?
Haha I think that's all of them 😂
Hi question, while using snow foam on the car, is it possible to use carshampoo in a bucket to shampoo the car at the same with the snow foam on the car ? As iv never seen this done on anyone videos.
Or is this not advisable.
Can you do video on how to clean a car in a hosepipe ban area ? Thanks .
To be honest I don't have any experience using waterless wash products as I've been a bit sceptical of them since the paint on my car is super soft I'm scared to risk it. I know a lot of people swear by Optimum No Rinse in areas where water usage is restricted though so that could be worth a look
what’s the towel you use in panel wipe? great video. ty!
Thanks Bryan! They're the carbon collective panel wipe cloths :)
Your comment on pirelli tyres is interesting...I thought it was just me!!!! 🤫
Good content nice car. Didn't hear what wash mitt you were using ?
Thanks for watching :) It's the garage therapy wash pad, I've popped a link to it in the description
@@AutoCareHQ thanks
Hi Heather, great video, would like some help.
My neighbour decided to paint his fence, and guess what, yep my csr got pebble dashed in paint, spent 5hrs to day getting it off, but still have odd spots, any advice on getting the remaining spots of, thanks
Thanks Nigel :) That's such a pain! Have you tried claying it? It should get rid of it but it may cause a little bit of marring. Try and use as much lubrication as possible and maybe be prepared to polish it afterwards if you're not happy with the finish
@@AutoCareHQ thanks Heather, will give it a go, unfortunately have no garage so will have to wait until a cooler day,
Nice brown BMW
😂 I'm interested to see who's vid wins the most views
I've locked in at 29k after 4 weeks. We will see
👍✅
Great video Heather. That’s a great tip about using an IPA to remove Ceriglass. I actually just bought a new batch in preparation for coating my windshield and was dreading the removal .👏👏👏For the coating, I’m trying Soft99 Glaco for the first time. Have you any experience with it?
Thank you! Yep I've tried the Ultra Glaco coating and it's very good, easy to use and performs really well
👍
👍👍💪
Good video but the gravel surface ruins the finish when you drive away.
Why do I have the sensation that your foam canon doesn't work very well with that snow foam...it sounds like it doesn't atomize the product.
Hi Heather. What could be the extremely sticky and clear residue that drops on my wife’s car? Is it tree sap? Very stubborn and simply spreads when you attempt to wipe it off. Can you recommend anything I can use to get it off on paintwork and windows please? It is very sticky and stubborn, almost like glue!!!!
Sounds like it could be tree sap! Have you got any strong shampoo like Garage Therapy Decon Shampoo? That should get rid of it if it’s reasonably fresh but otherwise a tar and glue remover will shift it easily. Just be careful not to let it dry and give the car another wash after to remove the residue 😊
Thank you, Heather. I appreciate your response.
Hmm GT Alpha vs Soft 99 Fusso.
Durability and repellency.
Any thoughts?
It's tough to say to be honest I've not tried Alpha for long enough to know really. In comparison to Fusso the application process/ water behaviour is similar but Alpha definitely has more of a darkening effect
@@AutoCareHQ hmm. I guess only post winter we will know just how long Alpha will last. I picked up some Fusso in the end mainly because ceramics have such a long cure time still, its hard to justify such a massive cost for me as a weekend warrior.
Hello. How to remove calcium spots (calcium dots)? After washing, I saw white dots on the car. These points have dried up. How can they be washed so as not to disturb the varnish and paint of the car?
I usually just use Koch Chemie FSE spray to tidy up water spots :)
@@AutoCareHQ Thank you!
Very nice job. What did you use on the black trim/grill? Did the wax have fillers in it to fill in swirls? Cool video.
Thank you! I just used the GT wax on the plastics/ grill here :) I spoke to GT about this and they said it's not technically a "filler wax2 but it does still have a decent bit of filling ability which is one of the ways it helps to improve the look of the paintwork
Hi Heather. Do you dial down your Mjjc with all snow foams or just GT 1 snow foam?
I have been doing it with most foams more recently as it just takes the edge of it a bit so the consistency has a better dwell
@@AutoCareHQ Thank you so much for taking the time to reply Heather. I’m still trying to get the right consistency with the GT. Even my touch less comes out quite thick. Keep up the amazing videos I love watching them! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Cheers Paul I appreciate it!
How much time it take mam? To ready this beauty
Filming the video adds a lot of time so it probably took about 7 hours. However if I was just doing the process without making the video it would probably take me about 2.5 hours :)
@@AutoCareHQ thanks
What tyre dressing brush are you using?
It's from In2detailing, it's linked in the description :)
@@AutoCareHQ always seem to be sold out 😟 but Autobrite Direct do one in the same style
You always miss the very bottom of the back bumpers when snow foaming.
I go around and check any missed bits but just don't film everything
@@AutoCareHQ Not a criticism, I just notice silly lityle things, your videos are great by the way.
💪=👌
Beautiful end result Heather! Have you had a chance to try Mile Deep yet?
I tried some of that AutoGlanz rebound and it did strip the tyres back better than brake buster
in my opinion. 🇦🇺
Thank you! Yep I've got a video ready with the Mile Deep range, really impressed with their products!
@@AutoCareHQ Nice! 😊
After all that products and time, go out and rain 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Switch out your background music. The hip hop beats are mor suited for the end of the video when showcasing the finished product. Use something more relaxing up until that point.
Et les restrictions d'eau bordel
Head over to The car boutique our group
Can you come clean my car 😂
Enjoy your English accent.
Your "after" footage should last at least a little bit longer...
A lot of viewers drop off at that point in the vid so I have tried to make it shorter to avoid the retention dip!
Fatalities video once again.... great job
Thanks for watching Mike!
