What I hate is that Europe gets all the cool versions of the vehicles we do have. Like why can't my 2.0 TSI in my Volkswagen have direct and port injection as they do in Europe?
Thank you for the video Heather. The Pyramid ceramic coating is clearly holding up well. Nice attention to detail as always. The MG looked fantastic 👌 after your sterling work.
Lovely job! I particularly like the gloss level of the tyre shine. I have a silver car and like the contrast between light voloured paintwork and a more glossy tyre shine. Keep up with the great videos!
Great job Heather! The only MG i see in the US is the Midget, So that was a nice surprise as well. Loved the foam job..It covered really well! Love your Nike's as well too!
Thanks John! It's a really nice car. They're pretty affordable as well for the size of the vehicle but MG have done a really nice job with the interior especially
Rapidly becoming in my top 3 detail go-to channels on RUclips! Fab production and tips once again! You ROCK girl!❤. I love seeing so many women now embracing this hobby and profession! I have been into it since the days of cotton only towels! Keep spreading the word!❤
Yes! Using a 2nd application of snow foam to add lubricity for the contact wash is something I rarely see UK detailers do. It makes a lot of sense though. Heather, I don’t recall, but have you ever used P21s Polishing Soap on exhaust tips? It’s an outstanding product and easy to use .
Very thorough job you have done here as well Heather! I like the passion you naturally have. Watching each step of this detail shown signs as you are sort of an “artist”, who uses every product and equipment with such respect to them and the car. Hello Heather, I discovered your channel just yesterday and instantly fell in love with it - actually I think this is my first ever youtube comment :D Please keep up and please please review Fresso wheel cleaner - I just bought it as a replacement for P&S Brakebuster and I think its cheaper but competetive opponent :) BR, Lukas
Thanks very much for the support I appreciate it! My first impressions of the Fresso wheel cleaner are very good so I'm looking forward to testing it out more :)
Hi Heather, thank you for making a video with some variety - nice to see a maintenance wash on a ceramic-coated vehicle for a change. One question though, you don't consider using a topper on the ceramic coat? I do that with my Tesla Model 3; it's coming up on 4 years with the CQuartz Finest Reserve ceramic coating and just using a simple Gyeon topper it still has incredible hydrophobic properties. I understand some think it is a waste to put a topper on a an existing coating, but I'm happy with my results and amazed that after nearly 4 years I'm still reaping the benefits of a ceramic-coated vehicle.
Thanks for watching! I did think about using a topper on this but I decided against it as Pyramid don't have one at the moment and I was interested to see how the coating would manage on its own. I might top this up at some point in the future but at least for now I'm happy with the performance!
Heather…great job maintaining that vehicle! if you get a chance check out adams interior detailer! It cleans well for a detailer and has microban & anti-static properties as well! Smells like eucalyptus mint! Very refreshing! Can be used on everything and leaves a perfect streak & residue-free finish when followed up with a secondary wipe even on piano black trim pieces etc!
Hi Heather, the car is looking really nice and I was curious to see how easy it is to clean a ceramic coated car having just applied Gyeon Synchro Evo to my BMW 7 Series. Might be worth trying Gyeon ceramic coating the windscreen, supposed to last up to a year and is doing very well so far on my car.
Another great video, my wife's car has a large sloping front windscreen with a large dashboard. Reaching all the windscreen to clean the inside is a pain/annoying/ arrgh I give up, do professionals like yourself struggle with that and what tips/ tools which you use help you out? Thank you
Thank you! I know exactly what you mean, cleaning the inside of those windscreens can be a pain. Hi, heather I hope you are well, nice video, and congrats on getting 10k, and I so proud to belong to them, good advice for floor pedals clean, I want to ask you what is your opinion about Mitchell and king car wax I🎂 have a plan to buy one, give me your honest opinion, Best.
Great video,, I'm having a lot of problems with white water spots, after being out in showers, I've got ceramic coating, and top up with fairly diluted Lavish, at every wash,, any ideas on reducing the white marks,,??? 😍. xx. ps, it's a dark blue car, so they wouldn't show up on a white car like this one,, x.
Thank you! Koch Chemie FSE is a good one for removing water spots. You can just quickly go over the car with the spray and a microfiber towel after the wash if you spot any
Very interesting Heather, just watched another very well known RUclips detailer fail miserably with the MJJC and the GT snow foam. Roughly where did you set the lance valve to? All the best.
Thanks for watching :) I just do a quarter of a turn lower than max, but any adjustment on the foam cannon slightly lower than max seems to change the consistency quite dramatically!
Hello again, can you recommend a solid detailer for interior clean leaving a nice finish on dash and general interior non fabric/leather surfaces? Thanks in advance. P.S. very much enjoy your vids and am referring to your recommended products as i narrow down my purchases. There are so many products it's slightly overwhelming (industry wide).
Fantastic job heather great tips as usual, and yes rubber mats are great I have replaced all mine in my Astra including the boot with rubber, sadly talking of Astra the latest one I have come to the conclusion the paint on these is terrible well perhaps not the paint but clear cote it scratches far to easily ,heather if you have any ideas like coating I can apply please let me know ,
Thanks very much Adrian! It's definitely worth considering a coating if you are finding the paint is soft on your car as it will help to provide some level of protection against wash marring. It'll still need to be washed safely but it should help. I'd definitely recommend this coating so far, I'm really enjoying the performance and it was so easy to use. I've heard Infinity Wax Synergy Lite is also very good, not as durable but it and has some filling ability to help hide minor swirls a bit. I'm tempted to put one that on my car actually!
@@AutoCareHQ Thanks heather for taking the time to reply and supplying the name of the product , someone mentioned in the Astra k forum about a ceramic coating , what’s your thoughts on that am I rite in saying it’s a pig to apply properly.
@@adriancarter825 No problem at all! So the ceramic coating I used here (Pyramid UBV New Era 3 Year) was super easy to actually apply, probably easier than most waxes and sealants I've used to be honest. Good video! Question: When i wash the rims they look good but then driving home i see dirty water inside the rims and it looks really ugly. I clean behind the spokes etc, use alkaline, foam and brake buster plus manual agitation but still this happens. Any tips?
Thanks Chris! You can try using an open ended hose to rinse the wheel after rinsing with the power washer or at the end of the wash as low pressure water tends to rinse dirty water out of difficult to reach areas a bit better sometimes!
No, Pretesh. It won't. A stone at that speed would go through the coating, the laquer, base coat, and the primer. Possibly right through to the metal and leaving a dent. Coatings are less than 2 microns in thickness. Basically, less than 2,000ths of an inch thick. You'd need several hundred layers of ceramic to have any chance of protecting the laquer underneath and even then a stone travelling at 50mph would go through most if-not-all the coating.
