You have the touch of a masseuse! the way you manipulate that leather to tend to the crevices is masterful 😂 Look forward to the leather mega test i’m sure there will lots to learn 👍🏼
Thanks Nick!, I’m going to do an introduction to the cleaners first, then a separate video showing some of the challenges of spills and how they deal with them, it’ll be quite interesting
Great video mate. I've been using the scrub pads rather than detail brushes and they are a massive time saver. However these safer bamboo type ones looks much better for all round cleaning. The results on the seats says it all. And as for KC greenstar. Such a great product!
Thanks mate 👍 yeah a def massive timesaver and double the cleaning action with the bamboo as they’re the same both sides so let’s you get on with the job before finding out as much too, I love em
Cracking video Graeme, very relaxing and satisfying to watch. A few good tips too, using glass cleaner on delicate plastics is 👌🏼👌🏼 But you really should clean it inside more often 🤣🤣👍🏼
I use Nexzett cockpit cleaner for the buttons because it cuts through the greasy finger oils and adds a layer off UV protection. Have you found at all that the glass cleaner could take off the lettering on the buttons.
Something I’ve never heard of , interesting as I’ve noticed the buttons on my steering wheel becoming a bit greasy 🤔 The only thing I’ve seen that potentially could remove lettering was Surfex HD at too strong a dilution , and anyone using that with a scrub pad would do some serious damage to letters. I’m going to look up your cockpit cleaner, just out of interest as I’ve never heard of it
Great video Graeme, lots of interesting tips and ideas, those bamboo pads are excellent value and they're only a short drive from me so I think I'll nip and get some. 👍
Brilliant video. so many helpful tips and tricks again there like parking the car in backwards, something I always do as well. Green Star is probabaly my favourite APC, foams up lovely and at £6 is such a bargain. What did you use on the screen in this one, Zero Interior or One glass....sorry I may have missed it if you mentioned
Great video again Graeme. Those pads look like a sound investment for the plastics and dedicated ones for the leather. I've been informed that ladies make up brushes are great for interiors especially infotainment screens (Martin @OCD). Question for you, if the seats have Carpro CQuartz leather coating and the carpets have CQuartz fabric coating how would you go about cleaning them??? I'm debating about wether to get my interior done or not, thanks in advance.
Make up brushes aren’t just for ladies nowadays 🤣but yes , they are amazing for dusting interiors , Poundland is your best store there!! How long ago was the seats & carpets coated in CQuartz mate?
I was going to coat the new car when we get it (5wks). We're spending a hell of a lot of money so wanted it to be looked after and last, but you made me think about maintenance cleaning and what products to use after it is coated!!!
Great question anyway Paul, just think of it like the exterior , we coat that to make cleaning easier so it’s not a problem vacuuming or even using a cleaner on the carpets etc, most coatings for interiors need reapplying annually anyway so they’re not that durable , main thing is it enjoy the new car and clean it regularly by a quick vacuum & a dust 👍
Nice video as allways Graeme, I’ve switched mostly to the scrub pads for a lot of the plastics now, I find I can get the knocked out much quicker. Will need to try these bamboo ones soon
Thanks Dave. Yeah def save so much time, another tip is to use them with a bucket of water to keep cleaning them out as you go , sort of like an interior sponge wash 😀
Very informative and enjoyable video. I've just tried to order some of the bamboo pads and cloths (and a few other items) from LRC but when I try to use your discount code it says to enter a valid discount code.
Aw that’s disappointing thanks for letting me know , I’ll find out if they’re exempt or whether it’s just an error , Richard is out of the country at the moment but I’ll get back to you as soon as possible 👍
Hi last I commented on your video I was a total noob and didn't understand anything about detailing but now 5 months or so later I've gotten really good and now valet cars weekly but I'm looking to invest in a carpet extractor, do you use one? If so what one do you use and if you don't use one why dont you? I'm torn between the karcher puzzi 8/1 and the aqua vac Pro
That’s awesome news you’ve made a business out of your interest , I use my Karcher Wet Vac for doing the carpets & upholstery if I need to but it’s nowhere near as good as a Puzzi 8/1 I actually missed out on a cracking deal with one a while back, I even offered the guy more than asking price and he said no he was holding it for someone to come view it next day 😭 I’ve seen what the puzzi can do and if you have enough work to justify it , that would be my machine of choice 👍
@@ildxnnyli5541 😱 that isn’t great , alternatives possibly the Titan wet and dry vacuum using spray cleaner & a drill brush then wet extract ? 🤔 Or the Bissel spot pro but I’ve heard the plastic parts don’t stand up to much use professionally which is ironic given it’s name 🥴

@@GMDetails touché 🤣🤣🤣
It’s a curse!!, prepping for a video is the opposite to what we would normally do 🥴

Thanks James!, Very much appreciated 😁
Brilliant video and love your attention to detail. Great job 👏
Thank you very much!

Thanks Andy, appreciate the feedback as always mate, the screen was One Glass, blink and you miss it on Timelapse I need to stop recording this way 😅
Wow, excellent video Graeme. Love all the camera angles and the voiceover was top notch again 👌 keep these coming.
Thanks for noticing Ben!, I tried a few different ones for a bit of interest 😅
That’s one I need to do for my f30! Great video. I agree with the rubber mats helps especially during the winter season when there’s road salts
Thanks mate! 👍 the f30 mats are cool too!, substantially cheaper than the G20 ones too 😅
With both you and Mark having an interior spring clean has made me go out and clean the X3.
I actually love a day spent on the interior , very therapeutic, enjoy your session Martin 😁
