    Love your videos really helped my fried in deciding which b650 mobo he wanted. Is it possible to do a review on the Asus x670E-f? I have not seen many informative reviews on that mobo. Thank you in advance.

      Glad to hear! I gotta see if the folks over at ASUS might have a marketing sample for a X670E-F lying around...are you looking to build a high-end AM5 PC for yourself?

      @@ALKtech More like upper mid range I am looking for a good X670e mobo for future proofing cause I am planning on buying the 7900x down the line when it gets some good discounts.

    • @ALKtech
      @ALKtech  10 месяцев назад

      @@rohanleander also helps that AM5 should see at least one to two more generations of AMD processors...going with a good X670E board should be a pretty safe option! That said, looking at the specs sheet of the ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F WIFI, it packs plenty of punch for a higher-end X670E motherboard, though if I were to nitpick, given its age, it doesn't have newfangled features such as WIFI 7, which Intel's latest Z790 Refresh motherboards do come with, though LGA1700 is now officially a dead-end platform...

    • @rohanleander
      @rohanleander 10 месяцев назад

      @@ALKtech I completely agree with you but I still think Wifi 6E should be more that enough since I use a wired connection. I just found out that the X670E-F mobo price in my region has increased as well as the Amd ryzen series given that this has happened do you have any good suggestion for B650 Mobos?

    • @ALKtech
      @ALKtech  10 месяцев назад

      @@rohanleander if you're looking at an ASUS board, do check out the ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI (I've done an overview video for this board on my channel, do check it out if you're keen). I personally think it occupies a sweet spot in terms of specs and features, especially against lower-end X670E boards!

    Yo man, i've got a question. I'm buying RTX 4060 + I5-12400f. Which motherboard should i go for - ASUS PRIME B760M WITHOUT THE WIFI OR THE GIGABYTE B760M DDR4? Also what is the diffrence with asus with wifi and the one without? Only the fact that one doesn't have a wifi option and ethernet is needed? Thanks for the answers.

    Did I miss any BIOS flashback options?
    If you buy this board and a 14700k will it work out of the box?
    I am wondering if the BIOS could need to be updated first?
    Thanks

    is asus not that good lately or what do you think ?

    • @ALKtech
      @ALKtech  11 месяцев назад

      Well...they've taken some flak for the burnt AM5 motherboards debacle and how they handled the issue. Personally, I haven't really had any problems with ASUS's motherboards, though I must say they tend to be on the pricier side when compared to other competitor brands!

    No Wifi 7 that is gonna overtake the marked in 1-2 year that is just no go.
    And even problems whit headsink and M2 also.
    And Audio codec is no premium on unly 32-bit/192kHz PCM.
    MSI and Gigabyte do that better also in same range.
    Asus cut not even put in Realtek ALC4080 or Realtek ALC4082 32-bit/384kHz PCM.
    So the problem here is that Asus is missing out, and the 2 higher end series is to high for the consumer.
    Even Asrock can do this better for less a price.

      Yup I do think the lack of WIFI 7 is a miss on ASUS's part, considering that other competitor Z790 Refresh boards do tend to come with WIFI 7!

      Some refreshes are more equal than others - if you're looking at higher-end models, you do get bells and whistles such as WIFI 7 and even 5 Gigabit Ethernet! But if you've no use for such features, getting the older Z790 boards for a good discount will work just fine too!
