@@BobTheStickMan5 action did come a little high on mine, I think Martin does this on purpose so you can set it up how you want. All I did on mine was tighten the truss rod a bit and it’s perfect. The sapele wood has a darker sound more low end but it’s absolutely beautiful you cannot beat the Martin tone. This is my favorite guitar I have ever owned and I will keep it for the rest of my life
eric mad decent I agree completely, I’ve watched countless demo videos of this particular mode and I can’t get enough of the way the lower end sounds! Much nicer that the spruce in my opinion. And not to mention the sapele looks bloody beautiful.
My martin dx1ae i had for 3 years fell off the top of my couch and broke. I gave it a funeral and sent it out in flames then bought a Taylor that was more expensive and didn't like it nearly as much as the martin so I exchanged it for this sapele d10e road series and can not wait for it to come in the sound is amazing
With all due respect to Martin's D10, doersn't have one iota of difference in my DRS1. Jsst more bling! And approx $200 more MRSP. That tuner and pickup is machs nicht to a bluegrass picker. Who needs em? The difference between mohogany and sapele is apples n oranges. Just bought my DRS1, took it to band practice and it held it's own against a 1968 D35 and a 2003 D28. And blew away a $5k Collings!!!
@@tuwee8383 yeah i try both and sitka more blance birght and warm sound, i think gonna pick sitka this week after try some taylor. but i find out in that price point most taylor not solid wood 😬
I just bought this guitar, and I’ve never felt so in love with an inanimate object
I got mine a few months ago... best purchase I ever made it will start to sound better and better. I’m totally obsessed with mine!!!!
I just ordered one yesterday, due to come for Christmas, I CANT WAIT!!!,

I walked into Guitar Center and strummed it as it was on the wall. One strum. Then I bought it!
I play this baby every day now.
Sounds really great!
Not available in Australia

the d10e spruce was too bright for me. this one might be better? dunno
Yes yes
I have this guitar and I don't like the sound . How can I say the sound is thin it does not have depth.
This is the old model
No this is the new D10E all sapele, as you can see in the bottom part of the hole the MXT TUNER is there
@@blitzkrieg2116 aha okay. Sorry :)
