@@angeltensey Nah I'm done playing that game, I’ll just stick with my old RTX 3090 24GB (open box) with a 384-bit bus, especially with the performance and value I got for a good $600. 😅
@@christophermullins7163i am tired of telling people to try used. People will still blabber about mining when it doesn’t change anything about a gpu but they won’t research about it. Bought a mining 3080 that was so dusty and dry as soon as i confirmed that it is working with no fragmentation. Took a couple hours to restore with thermal pads but it works perfect!!
There won't be good value GPUs at the end of the year. NVIDIA is going to bend us over and tell us we're fortunate to be able to pay 2200 for a 5090 or 1500 for a 5080, because Jensen said the more you buy, the more you save.
Being a PC enthusiast used to be fun, you could get either the top-tier GPU for around £350-400, or you could be smart, and get the one down from that for £250-300, and flash the BIOS to unlock the pipes and shaders et cetera,, you could do this every generation pretty much, then there were generations where the middle GPU offered 95% of the flagship GPU, £200 could basically get you the enthusiast GPU, at least CPU’s are current fun and interesting, though Intel nearly put a stop to that, they tried going down the same patch as Nvidia with their GPU's by stagnating CPU tech and putting prices up, thankfully AMD ca to the rescue with Ryzen, if only they remained competitive with GPU's and stopped Nvidia from being greedy tyrants, then again I'm quite happy using the mClassic and a mid-range GPU for now, gives me good enough frame-time latency performance @ 1440p (scaled from 720p) and actually looks better than native 1440p, but GPU tech is really stagnant at the moment, very little features for not so little money, the fact that I can produce much better results with a third party solution (mClassic which cost me £75) and a £300 GPU than an £800 GPU speaks volumes.
Maybe try not being a mindless consumer buying the new and hottest things every year. I always wait 1-3 years before buying anything when prices drop. It's how I got my most recent phone (retailed at $800, got it new for only $300 lol). Plan to do the same with upgrading my GPU. Def not buying anything new.
@@thelonercoder5816 I find 7-10 years is the sweet spot for a new main gaming GPU, as for smartphones, I find them to be completely OTT, I use a basic Nokia that makes phone calls and text msgs, imagine that, when I want a tablet i'll use my iPad, which @ £300 is the only good for value product Apple produces, as it does so much, has Apple Arcade, which is fantastic, a phone is a phone imo.
@@tomthomas3499 There is enough room in the $600 price for installing 16GB. The cost of memory does not matter it's more about pushing you to replace the card due to lack of VRAM (sooner than later) or pushing you to a higher tier of $800 to get 16GB if you want a 4K card. So the strategy is more scummy than just cutting the costs of memory.
I ended up winning an auction for a lightly used Liquid Devil 6800 XT for $416 about 8 months ago. Run it UV/OC'd at 2650MHz @ 990mV and it goes toe to toe with the 7900 GRE and 4070 Super at 1440P in the games I play the most. Power consumption isn't even that bad since it's golden silicon on water cooling, it's usually in the 180-190W range and running at 50-52C. If I run RT it can hit 340W and 60C, but I don't really play a lot of games with RT. Nothing even comes close to the value I found with this card, it has impressed me so much and I think RDNA2 might be AMD's GOAT generation.
I had a 6750XT 12GB and it was indeed a supprising card. Its didnt have any issues other than RT, had to upgrade to a 7800XT as i needed 0.8 GB more VRAM to make my simulator smooth in VR
ive owned a 6750xt for about 2 years and its been an absolute unit ive never had a problem that a normal user would have the only peculiar thing about it is that the coolers are overbuilt even with 2 fans meaning very heavy overclocking is possible and i would even recomend it
I love that you include the used market. I recently dropped a couple racks on my engine rebuild for my truck so I'm not gonna be upgrading for a little while. But its nice to know my 1080 ti can be upgraded pretty reasonably now
3090 user here, paid $700 new for mine. Biggest plus is never having to worry about vram. Plus, Lossless Scaling has pretty much made my gpu into a 4090 for me. Best $7 on Steam really.

Love my 7900 XTX, paired with a 7800X3D it dominates everything I throw at it, ray tracing included, and I find that my frame rate is always higher than what is shown in benchmark videos. Cyberpunk in 4k with raytracing ultra and I’m still pushing over 100 fps consistently and getting an incredible experience. Maybe I’m crazy but I’m super happy to be with team red this time around. I honestly couldn’t ask for more performance. It was the extra VRAM that sold it for me and I’m very happy with it.
The X3D CPUs are so damn good, the improvement in input latency they bring is night & day, especially when combined with Intel 3DX SSD's. (how about that, AMD X3D & Intel 3DX, who is naming these things lol o_o)
My 6750xt has been very good to me. These past few years it’s always nice to see it pop up as a good card time after time. I decided to move from 1440p with this card to just a 1080 max everything monster.
I think my GTX 1080 is a good value. Still works very well with everything I do with it. The 4790K/DDR3 1866/SATA3 SSD to 12400F/DDR5 6000/NVme M.2 SSD migration brought it to life while being able to feed the GPU more.
Yeah i commented same thing. Seems like US market prices are totally different and in US for some reason they can sell nvidia cards cheaper or close to msrp
and it's not just the prices. US average monthly salary is like $6,000. EU don't have €6,000 monthly salary, so the €1,400 and €999 are even more expensive than US prices.
It all depends on geographic location as well. Here in Australia the 7900xtx is a no brainer if that is the price range you are shopping in. the 7900xtx can be found for around the $1350AUD vs $1800AUD for a 4080 Super
It's most likely THE deciding factor. 4080 Super and 7900 XTX go for the same price in France (around 1k€), 4070 Super and 7800 XT were going for around 600-650€ (7800XT recently dropped in price, so 4070 Super matches the 7900 GRE), 4060 and 7600 go for 300-350€. It makes almost no sense to go AMD in France right now because you'd save between nothing and 40€. With current electricity prices, going for the Nvidia card is almost always cheaper past the 1st year mark.
@@mitsuhh I would still go for the Vapor X XTX for $1549, extra 50 gets you 8gb more Vram which will last you at least 4 years. I had X trios in the past they aren't very good, the 4080 Supers I would actually go for are variants like the TUF at minimum which is $1858 (4080S) and it doesn't fit my setup, the Gigabyte Aero fits my setup for $1850 but if I was spending I would go for the Asrock Taichi XTX $1600. He was referring to the 4080 Super anyways while you are referring to the regular 4080 to which the cheapest 4080S is $1800 so he is correct.
@pituguli5816 The 24gb vram is honestly useless. Someone buying such a card will move on in 2 gens at least as by then the card will be low end. Cyberpunk completely maxed out at 4k native doesn't even come close to 20gb, it's more around 13.5 avg to 16gb. Alan wake 2 is the same and ue5 which is becoming the norm literally uses less vram than those games even maxed out in games. By the Tim you get to actually use that 24gb vram that card will not be doing anything close to 4k gaming.
the sound quality is much better, i always preferred high-end condenser mic quality over dynamic ones even tho shure do make good sounding dynamic mics but daym, the quality of the high-end condenser mics is just insane, your voice now sounds a lot less muffled and much thicker and better overall
LOL, FSR 3.1 came out literal hours after you put this video out, so now all the DLSS love is a little bit obsolete. Daniel Owen took a look at it and it's a huge upgrade from FSR 2.2. Competitive with DLSS imho
I find the DLSS and FSR conversations/arguments odd and disconnected. I play/talk to a bunch of pc who have no idea what those words even mean or if they even use it. It’s almost like RT if it’s not automatic set to it I’m sure a lot of ppl don’t use it.
I picked up the Hellhound 7900 XT for about $680 (including taxes) last Oct and its been a great card. At that time the 4070 Ti (Super wasnt available) was more close to $900 dollars here. Honestly the drivers haven't been an issue with any games I've played and ran everything great.
my 3080 recently died and was considering the 4080s but honestly didn't need that extra performance but did want the extra vram so I just got the 4070ti super and it's great, the fact that it's using over a 100 watts less than the 3080 while still having 25% ish performance increase is pretty impressive
The 4070 TI Super is one of those cards that hits all the bells and will work at 4k until the next gen consoles release. I feel that card is going to age well
I got my RX 6700 for 180€ and my Ryzen 7 5600X3D for 200€ (all prices tax included). I live in Central EU. Love my setup, thanks to you I got an RX 6700. ☺
I’m still running on my 2070Super. I did some unnoticeable adjustments to Helldivers 2 and now get 90 FPS, pretty stable, at 1080p. Remember that not all the sliders have to be turned up in the graphics menu. There are many you genuinely won’t notice, or may even look better at a lower setting.
I bought in my country (my country in the middle of the Europe) rx6800 about 410$, because in my country don't have any amd gpu with xt and my budget very limited. I'm very happy own this masterpiece very good price
Picked up my first AMD card. A used Sapphire RX 6800 XT Nitro+ SE for $299 cash. Absolutely friggin' love it, after coming from team green (970,1060,1080,2060,2080S,3070). @@christophermullins7163 What are your thoughts on your 6950 XT? I was thinking of picking one up prior to the 6800 XT, as they are going my for $400-$450 local to my area. Only didn’t pick it up due to not wanting to change my PSU lol
@@4eremy832 it's powerful and plenty for 4k 45-60 in AAA and 4k 144 in competitive games. Often have to enable some upscaling but only a 4090 can push out that many frames in the latest games. i managed to snag a rx 7900 xtx open box for £700 (885usd), normally they go for £850+ or £950+ for 4080 super so i believe my deal was worth it vs new
If you’re going budget then go for AMD. I had my eye on the 4060ti for a while as I wanted budget with an extra kick. But I can’t see passed getting the 7700 xt instead and I could get a 7800 xt with the money saved assuming I was going for the 4060TI with 16 gb vram.
Many reviews have the 4070S at the same level or just below the 7900 GRE in terms of rasterized performance. Absolutely wins on RT though. As it stands I just don't care about ray tracing that much so I'm going to go with the 7900 GRE. I was considering the 4070 Ti S but that is a big jump in price
Bought the Sapphire RX 7900 GRE Gaming PURE OC 16GB just a couple of days after it was released in Europe and I don't regret switching from Nvidia to Amd at all. What a beast of a card for it's price.
Me personally i picked up rx 7900 xt over Ngredia rtx 4070 ti super bla bla bla cuz longevity and 20 gb vram would save me some year ahead especially when it comes to UE5 games. I am so happy not getting fooled by buying Nvidia 4k series with handicapped specs as i did with rtx 3080 . Guys be careful this time around and buy wisely
No matter your GPU brand preference….. make sure you’re getting your desired GPU at a vg price 💪🥰😇👍. In addition, I find getting a GPU close to launch (and I look at open box deals🥳🥳, damaged packaging models etc first) as you get to enjoy the improved fps, features etc longer than getting it later to save 5-10-15% 😅😂🤣.
In terms of ray tracing, the RX 7900xtx is practically on par with the 4080 Super in many titles. Where the 7900xtx falters is in titles with path tracing, but to be honest, today there are only about 3 titles with path tracing and it has a cost. very great performance to be honest so if we talk about gaming we should think that both GPUs have a similar performance currently the 24gb of vram of the rx 7900xtx will give it a significant advantage in scenarios where a lot of vram is used in addition to having a better bus, for example warzone is a game that consumes an absurd amount of vram today, just look at the consumption with all the presets in ultra only at 1080p which is already around 14gb/16gb of vram, it is a poorly optimized game but Unfortunately that is something very common to see nowadays so buying a gpu just to have things like dlss is not worth it since you have decent alternatives that are not far behind it like fsr 3.0 and xess also when you are paying $1000 for a gpu the least you expect is to use rescalers and many people will tell you that dlss looks better than the native but nothing could be further from the truth, it is worse than the native when it is well implemented it does not look much worse than the native but it looks worse besides in certain scenarios you lose fine details with the movements etc. also another thing that they always discard and I don't know why it is the people who precisely want to maintain the maximum graphical fidelity possible for that you have dlaa, fsr native aa and xess native aa that provide the maximum graphical fidelity possible when they implement them well, something that seems really a good plus in many scenarios, even with GPUs in these price ranges, is the frame gen and we return to the same thing, there are alternatives to dlss frame gen that are even closer to rescalers like fsr frame gen and even programs like lossless scaling that you can use anywhere, the only valid excuse in my humble opinion to opt for nvidia is that you depend on programs that use cuda since there is no alternative to As for the rest, there is no real reason to go with Nvidia, plus with the AMD alternative you can also work with 3D renders, video editing, etc. It is even offering you advantages due to the greater amount of vram and bus
People saying DLSS looks better than native are either blind and or paid to shill or just unable to see the blur and artifacts introduced or don't want to, so they can use it like a crutch and feel like it isn't a worse experience. it is worse. so is FSR. Neither framgens are not the same as native and never will be, it'll get close but it can never 'ai' everything.
@@N4CRhow can upscaling ever look better than native? It kinda bothers me that he keeps praising dlss like it should be the norm to upscale on every game. It has definitely become a crutch
Do not buy any gpu right now... unless you need one. Wait for next gen, as it's just around the corner. Current gen prices will drop as next gen arrives and maybe next gen might some how be a big jump in performance and may be worth even buying when that time comes around
There will be no new AMD cards next year so I wouldn't say it will be next gen. At best I will say next gen will be in 3 or 4 years. As a matter of fact GPUs and CPUs are releasing way to fast hence why marginal returns. Hell the Ryzen 7 7000 3d chip still best the newer chipsets. even older GPUs are beating newer ones unless it is the 4090, however that is a trainwreck with the power its needs. I will make a computer this year, but I won't upgrade so soon unless they really impress me.
I've been waiting to build a gaming PC for 6 years, and now that I have the cash you tell me to wait another year 😂😂😂 Nah, I'm doing it now, fk it, can't wait all my life, seems like its never the right time to buy anything.
I've been rocking and RTX 3070 that I bought for $200 from a friend of mine about 6 months ago. For what I paid, you can't really beat the performance. That being said, I do tend to drop some settings just a little in newer AAA titles just to avoid hitting the vram cap. I've got my eye on either an RX 7800 XT or RX 7900 GRE if they come down to the $400 - $450 price range respectively.
The main advantage of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX (which I have) is the 24 GB of VRAM. With that amount, you can always set textures and settings to maximum and not worry that you'll have performance issues or crashes. When I check how much VRAM is being used while I'm gaming at max settings, it often shows up as 14 to 16 GB of VRAM! Therefore, at around $1000 for the Geforce RTX 4080 Super, it's tough to recommend it with its 16 GB of VRAM... Kind of unacceptable considering that even an Intel ARC A770 for $350 or whatever also has 16 GB of (LOL!) I'm predicting that in the next few years this will become a very tight amount of VRAM for a lot of games, or cause performance issues. It's mostly ok to have 16GB of VRAM today, but you don't buy a $1000 graphics card to change it in just 1 year... I'm surprised that almost no one talks about this. The same happened when reviewers and tech channels were talking about 8GB VRAM being an INSANE amount back in 2020 or 2019 or so. But they made it seem like you won't have to worry about that for a long long time. Already 1 year ago, 8 GB was a joke and frequently I had crashes when I had a card with just that amount in games.
VRAM is primary limiting factor of lifespan of a card. Even if features go out of date, you can still play that big texture/mod pack... the 16gb 4080 turdLSS can't.
@@N4CR I 100% agree. Having really high textures is indeed the "hack" to having really nice visuals in games far into the future... And that 16gb 4080 will be handicapped.
The 7900 xtx blows the 4080 out the water on most games I play the main one being warzone and the prices are a lot different here in the U.K. the 7900 xtx is the clear winner here

great vid man, super thorough info. much appreciated. I'm thinking about building a system soon, considering going 7950x & a nvidia 4070 ti super, or possibly 4080 super for a makeshift productivity build, I was leaning intel since it's probably the faster kit for what I intend to do, but they seem like there's some instability atm they need to resolve, we'll see if arrow-lake can turn it around... this release generation has been a rough one eh? haha. so many wacky ups and downs and unusual annoying compromises... but i digress. As for your Mics, I haven't played around with an MV7 before, it seems like a decent mic over all, how's the noise floor on it for you? also, the NT1 sounds good, that's a solid mic, can def hear the the gain bringing out some detail since it's got that extra condenser sensitivity, sounds legit. What kind of audio interface are you rockin' if you don't mind my askin? Cheers.

I used a 5700xt for the past 2 years. Just recently switched to a 6950xt, and boy is there a difference at 1400p. I still say the 5700xt is a great card, but it doesn't meet my requirements anymore.
I have the 6800XT and one of my sons have the 2070 super, but I thinking of doing a budget upgrade to my other son's pc to make it good enough for a couple of more years. He play on 1440p, with a i5 9400, 16gb and 1660 super. He ain't complaining yet, but I have noticed that its lag a bit. Both 3060 and 4060 can be found for $350 around here, 4060TI is $550 and the 6750XT is $600. So I am going for the 4060 for him. I wish I had the same prices as you, but it is what it is.

5700xt has been such good value for me for the past 4 years, upgrading to a used 2080s because got it as a gift but feel like I didn't actually need an upgrade.
The 6700XT uses around 180W. I have the sapphire edition. At 180W it boosts up to 2650Mhz and if I underclock it to 1.1V from 1.2V it uses 120W to 130W and the Temperature falls at least 10C from around 73C to 63C.
Love your new mic and have been looking for an arm just like that one. However, my favourite thing is your sweatshirt (that colour rocks). Unfortunately, for your tastes, I am printing a few thousand with "Cats taste better than Rabbits do" (I'll allow your imagination to draw the picture)… Oh, you sound great. Another savage subscriber, fabulous video, and I love how you calmly talk us through the GPUs without the need to scream as most do, I hate screamers unless they are female, that is, Cheers.
From the current driver updates, the 6800xt with 16gb vram is even faster by 5-10% vs the 3080 and the newer 4070card and trade blows against the 7800xt. Crazy of a card.
Used is ya best bet if you;re upgrading something like rx480/580 or 1060. I grabbed a RTX 2070 for $200 AUD.. there are inane deals as so many people are wanting new GPUs
In my country the 7900xtx is way cheaper than the 4080 super, and I never play with RT on. I dont see any use for it tbh. The 7900xtx is a beast card and I do like having 24gb over 16gb.
I'm an architecture student and I'm also stuck between the RTX 3060 12GB and the RTX 4060 8GB. I prefer the 3060 because of its VRAM, which makes it more future-proof. However, most benchmarks indicate that the 4060 is faster. I'm undecided whether to choose slightly slower rendering times but more future-proofing or faster rendering times with potential difficulties handling larger projects.
RX 8000 series will not have a top-tier card and RTX 5000 series will cost a LOT of money. Outside of RTX 5090, all Nvidia offers will not be much faster than RTX 4000. I would wait a bit and pick a 4080 Super. EDIT: RX 8000 will show up in 2025. So that's a year of waiting.
amd said no new gaming gpu line this year, so the only thing you can wait is rtx 5080 and 5090. Nvidia release new gpu line every 2 years so this year there will be 5080 and 5090. but amd said no gaming gpu this year, so Nvidia may not release 5080 and 5090 this year. wait till August and if there's nothing for 5080 or 5090 for this year then buy the 7900xtx
One good thing to note with amd 7700/7800xts is there undervolt and overclockability being able to get about 10% performance from just undervolting from my testing with a 7700xt while dropping the wattage to about 250 "with my current oc" and temps down about 5c on average underload
Yo, hope this helps!

that 3080 was actually a pretty good deal but i think im gonna get a 4070 super instead
There won't be good value GPUs at the end of the year. NVIDIA is going to bend us over and tell us we're fortunate to be able to pay 2200 for a 5090 or 1500 for a 5080, because Jensen said the more you buy, the more you save.
I doubt 5090 will be 2200 since that's what a 4090 strix is going for if I had to guess it'll probably be closer to 3k
Well he’s not wrong if you buy the card and don’t look back for the next 5 years lol

The sad part is where you realise these price cuts are only here to clear out the stocks before the new series. Which will be priced absurdly again...

Same here in Australia. 7900xtx is a better deal. 4080 is a lot more.

I just got a 3080 for £367 and I currently have a rx 6600. Is there anything better about NVIDIA over AMD or are they the same
In terms of ray tracing, the RX 7900xtx is practically on par with the 4080 Super in many titles.

Glad you mentioned the used 6800 xt's, but also used 6700xt's are finishing auctions at around 200$ right now. 1440p for 200$ is hard to sleep on.
The 7900 xtx blows the 4080 out the water on most games I play the main one being warzone and the prices are a lot different here in the U.K. the 7900 xtx is the clear winner here
7900XTX is a lot cheaper in the UK than the 4080S, its just way better value.
I really wish I knew this channel existed when i built my pc in late 2022. Everyone who owns a pc should subscribe to you as long as you keep making these kinds of vids
Thanks for this i think i finally know where im upgrading to from my 1660 super
Nowhere cause I'm broke 😭
I also had a gtx 1660 super and upgraded to a rx 7700 xt, I'm very happy with
@@HS_Rides very nice! I actually bought two msi RX 5700 oc editions for 55usd each today. With no fans due to mining. It fits in my Lenovo small form factor pre built like barely. Just about to try and plug it in with an untested external PSU. Wish me luck lol. Might light up like the 4th of July up in here 😜
I have the 6700XT Red Devil, and it's a 1440p card for Games 2022 and below! My card is little overclocked and undervolted does max 170w on any games and max Temp 68c hotspot 75c
I get 144 FPS in all Games sometimes with FSR 2.0 on others with it off and settings High/Ultra.
It's A real BEAST of a card 👹
Decreased VRAM on 4060 is still crazy🤪
4080 doesn't have enough either for the core speed. it'll run out of vram in near future when more games are using 16gb+ like some are already.
FSR 3 is actually pretty damn good.
We also have AFMF2 coming soon.
I just went from a Ryzen 3 3600 with a GTX 1080 that held up for 7 years, to a Ryzen 5 7600x and a Radeon 7800XT. I believe this new set up will be another longevity build.
Thats the exact same build I just purchased myself. I'm coming from a GTX 760/Intel i5 3300 that lasted me 10 years. Now lets rock n roll for another 10
@@HyperFragHD Lets Goooo!
I did the same, but with a 4070 super. I just couldn't live with the 100+ extra watts of power usage. I hope I'm happy with it as it hasn't arrived yet....
i want to buy an 7800xt, is it really that good? i didn't used an amd card before so i am in doubt.
@@klovez49 If you are used to NVIDIA, stick with it. I moved from NVIDIA to AMD and the software interface for the AMD card was a bit complicated and took a few days to really get used to.
Been using the 3060ti for about a year and a half now and have absolutely no reason to upgrade. Its just perfect for 1440p, 60 fps, "high settings" gaming which is, at least for me, the golden benchmark. Anything over that becomes exponentially more expensive with very little in return gfx-wise.
idk man it feels weird .. im playing 1080p and my 1080ti its akwardly holding up like a powerhouse. I was thiking about upgrading to something with RT (because of blender) but man ..i dont feel it atm
Id say more importantly upgrade the monitor. You can use upscaling and continue to use the 1080 ti but you will see the goodness of higher res and will be way more excited for a future upgrade.
I bought a 7900xtx a while ago after having had Nvidia for years. I have not regretted it. Runs everything great, no crazy black screens or other random Nvidia nonsense...I love it.
~17:00 I think you meant to say Nvidia DLSS is better than AMDs FSR for image quality 😂😅😉👍
8GB of VRAM is still a dealbreaker on the 4060. It's even becoming a problem in some new games at 1080p
Bought a used Asrock Challenger RX 6700XT with 6 months warranty at ₹18,000 ($215)🤑

I got a MSI Radeon RX 6750 XT MECH 2X OC 12GB back in May for $299.00 plus tax usd used and for the most part I'm happy with it. I have a problem with the tuning (using the preinstalled or custom tuning) where it resets to default and sometimes will fail any tuning until I restart my pc. I upgraded from a 1660 super and its miles better in performance so I wont complain too much especially since I got a $600+ card for $300 at the time of purchase. In a kinda small case its paired with an i7 8700K MSI z390 a-pro and 32gb crucial ram. Looking into upgrade on CPU and mobo but definitely keeping the card!
Thanks but ill wait for the 6090
Nice
@@me.2..nice
I paid $420 for my 6950 xt.
I got a used 3080 ti (suprim x) for 550 euros. Hope I at least did okay. Building a new pc with a 7800x3d and so the 3080ti which I made upgrade later on. Upgrading from an i7 4790, GTX 970, and only 8 GB of ddr3 ram.
4060 8gb vram is absolutely fine
just turn down some useless settings and game at 90fps target
people claiming 8gb is not enough for 4060 is stupid, they literally turn on every useless settings to the point the gpu is running 30fps like wtf do you enjoy 30fps gaming now?
love the fact that you consider every perspective before buying a gpu not only vram or value
hi man great video
I have a Ryzen 7 7700X/RTX 4070 Super. I just picked up a RX 6750 XT for $300 for my Ryzen 5 5600.
2080 super, 150 euros. Nothing beats that.
Bro is capping 2080S goes for 300$+ 😭
6800 everyday 16gb vram is minimum
@@mercurio822 Yeah, it's the sweet spot right now when all things are considered. I found a used 6700XT for 200 euro recently so I'm good, but I'm looking at 6800s for when a deal pops up.
Bruh😂@@mercurio822
I had a 6700xt nitro, sold it when i got a great deal on a 6950xt nitro. Then i sold the 6950xt for a 100 euro profit and bought a 7900xt which i eventually sold for the same price that bought my current 7900xtx for.
Needed a card for light gaming @1440p. I know many think the RTX 3050 8 GB is a bad choice, but I bought a new one today from Best Buy for $170.00. It's an MSI Ventus 2 and with my Best Buy Plus membership and a $10 online discount brought it down to that price. It's going to be paired with an i3-12100F and I think that'll be a good match for WoW and other moderately demanding games. I didn't want used, been burned too often. Also preferred Nvidia.
Intel Arc GPUs is what you should.be buying, stop bending over for Nvidia and AMD 🤡
I mainly use the rtx3060. The a770 is actually a pretty decent gpu. Just don't expect to play dx11 with it. Dx12 is where its at with the arc cards.
One thing that 7600xt also has over 6650xt is 16GB vs 8GB of VRAM and with how much some games are hogging right now might save you an upgreade in the future
Just picked up a 12Gb 3080 for the equivalent of $480, which in Europe is a great deal considering the 3080Ti is only 5% faster but they cost the equivalent of $630 used here
RTX 3080Ti is a lower memory option of the RTX 3090. It's more like 12-15% faster than RTX 3080. Still, you got a nice deal with your 3080 12GB.
@@HanSolo__ every review I've seen shows it sitting between the 10Gb 3080 and the 3080Ti, but closer to the 3080Ti. It's faster than the normal 3080 remember. More like a cut down 3080Ti rather than a 3080 with extra VRAM
Alright, guys here's what I'm working with; I got a AMD R5 5600 and am looking to let my old GTX 1060 rest, problem is there's barely any AMD cards where I'm from and the prices heavily deviate from US pricing. Here's the options that I got; RTX 3050 | RTX 3060 | RX6600, these are pretty much the only things available in the reasonable price range right now.
I had the 6750 XT. It was an amazing card, but I stepped up to the 7800XT. I'm super happy I did. I game at max settings in 4k and average 105 fps in MWIII with no FSR. This is an animal of a card. Ray tracing isn't really that big of a deal to many people.
Got me an EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3080 recently and undervolted it and cannot complain one bit. Caps my monitor in most games and even the demanding ones easily do over 110 at max settings. I'm one happy camper with my purchase.
Great video.. 3080 unless your power supply wont support it.. the toughest thing is finding deals on vid cars with low wattage.
Just bought an RX 6800 XT (asus rog strix LC OC version) second hand for $360, good deal?
I got the 6700xt, i can't complain at all, absolutely beast even at 1440p
In my area you can snag a 3080 for under $400, which is crazy value. I have one in my backup and every time I come back to it I'm reminded how great of a card it is. Easily in my top 5 all time.
great vid man, super thorough info. much appreciated. Cheers.
The used market is the way to go. A high end 30 series for a low price.
Are you going to test FSR 3.1 and potentially adjust the list?
I just got a 7900 gre and quite happy with it, for $500.
Which two web sites are you using to see the price and performance of the cards ?
I got a 6700XT for 280$ almost new and its a steal. I am playing everything at 1440p 60fps almost everything. I can play everything at highest 1080p settings. I love it.
Just got a 7800XT to replace my GTX 1080. The 1080 is a workhorse of a card but the value we have available now is awesome. Beats that GPU shortage that happened a while ago where even smaller cards were $$$$
I went with the amd rx7900xt specifically because I fincanced it and I looked it up and said it ran great with an intel I9 11900k. I haven't had an amd card since my first pc back in 2014. I upgraded from a 3060ti and it is such a huge difference.
If my budget is around 400 dollars and i already have a pc with ryzen 5 7600X which gpu should i take if i want to learn video editing and graphic designing
Another savage subscriber, fabulous video, and I love how you calmly talk us through the GPUs without the need to scream as most do, I hate screamers unless they are female, that is,
Cheers.
Sounds great and so was the video. I think the Asus 4080 super is a good GPU to buy for the near future of gaming for the money.
The mic sounds great - I just purchased 2 Radeon RX 6800 for 275 $ each second hand - - they replace a RTX 2060 Super and RTX 1050 ti
Bro should I buy Rx 7900xtx rn or wait till 8000 series AMD or wait for Nvidia 5000 series?
If you can wait so prices get cheaper
Wait. Prices are going to drop on the current cards and seeing 3rd party benchmarks from the new gen is a plus.
I think you should wait
