Thanks Naomi, very helpful. I also notice that when it is done poorly, the leading foot did not change edges much. I find (and saw in your skate) that the leading foot really must be loose enough to change edges, especially getting onto that outside edge to carve the turns instead of forcing them via twisting your trunk.
