I was thinking the exact same thing. That lateral elbow x-ray looks like the patient was had their wrist in a lateral position but his positioning says the opposite
REEEEYYYYYY!!! You are the man!! I’ve been watching and promoting your content to others for the last 2yrs while in enrolled in a rigorous X-ray program. And yesterday I finally took and PASSED my registry!!!😆🎉🎊 Thank you so, so much for doing what you can to assist those who are on this journey to earn those initials (RT) idk where I’d be if it wasn’t for your consistent demonstrations of intricate routines and just personal experiences when it comes to certain aspects of the X-ray program and diagnostic imaging. I now got the chance to feel that same feeling you had in your other intro and maaaan does it feel great to finally be DONE!!! Thank you again, God bless you and keep doing what you’re doing brother!
Congrats brotha! And as much as I'd like to take the credit, it was you who did all the hard work. I just provided some guidance. Your future-self is thanking you 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I know you were excited AF to get the news. This is just the beginning tho fam. Here's to much more success and happiness coming your way 🥂 #youhaveGREATNESSwithinyou
recently I have started work at a hospital in Canada. I have a 10 year experience in Iran but I have the problem to explain positioning to patients. I appreciate you, your videos give me clues.
Your Back ! We’ve missed you! ..hope to see more of your amazing content , helps with my anxiety (just knowing I’ll be taking my prerequisites in spring ) thank you!
i love your content! using these videos as a guide to what my career might look like. currently in a community college completing my pre-reqs and gen ed before applying into the RT program😁
I'm so glad! Obviously take this as an idea of what to expect. What is not shown is the pressure and anxiety of the numerous patients waiting and/or their condition of pain
Life happened lol But I'm back. And yes I have been, got some new content for ya'll. Thank you! and congrats! Love to hear it! Welcome to the tech life!
Been waiting for this! Youre the best Rey! I hope you also consider doing trauma for spines. Like decubitus t or l spine and cspines and open mouth please!
I have more flexibility for filming exams, so that is def a possibility down the road. Right now I have several videos I'm finishing up. Thank you for the recommendations
Just wanted to say thanks for your videos! I’m a second year student and your videos really have helped me :) Also, I still struggle with how to match the angle to the patient I’m not sure if you can give tips on that or if it just comes with time
I’ve been watching you for a year now way before I started my program. Your videos HELP. classmates bring your name up in my class for other students: “There’s this guy on RUclips named x-Ray ra-“ “Omg I watch him too!” Glad you’re back, love the intro! The Tesla got me hype. Glad you’re enjoying your fruits from your labor !!!
I'm second year student. I had a pt with truma dislocations in the elbow. The pt was screaming and asking me not to move her at all . She said the pain was almost like Given a birth.
hey do you think you could give some tips for x-ray basics maybe going from most common xrays used to the lesser common xrays used. I just started x-ray tech school and am still trying to get my bairing any advice would be appreciated too.
I have several other most common routine exams uploaded with tips. The recent ones "trauma" would be the more advanced or "less common" x-ray exams. The true less common routine exams will be uploaded in time.
I think there are no excuse for not performing a lateral and replacing it by a supplementary view! try harder for obtaining it, keep your patient comfort! many thanks.
I’m sorry great for patient….but none of those X-rays are gonna come out looking good like that, nice angles but still they will be some distortion the way you have the patients positioned

Yessss plzzz I suck at Y's in the gurney lol
I hardly doubt that image would like that the way you positioned for a lateral elbow.

yessssir!
What about obliques in gurney or wheel chair with limited rom of arm and head in the way?
I think there are no excuse for not performing a lateral and replacing it by a supplementary view! try harder for obtaining it, keep your patient comfort!
many thanks.
Not sure if understand your comment. However, if the patient is in pain there is limitations and you must get whatever image you can
What pre-reqs did you take in college
My pre-reqs will differ from you. I recommend you going to an allied health counselor to see which ones you need to take
