    If you could do me a solid and please help me get to 15K SUBS for my birthday! Tell your classmates, your teachers, your CP’s, etc. Anyone that will find value in my channel. The big day is 9/23 this Friday!
    AND to give back, I’m picking one lucky sub to get a
    FREE *NEW* X-ray Rey Bomber Jacket!
    This one is part of my new collection with the new branding.
    All you have to do is
    1.) Tell someone to sub
    2.) Guess my age I’ll be turning and
    3.) Let me know what video you want to see next.
    LEAVE ALL THAT in the comment section down below.
    I’ll pick a random winner by the end of the month.
    And if you aren’t lucky, the new merch should be available early October!
    Thanks for all the love and support! I appreciate you all. Hope all is well. I’m looking forward to getting more material out there for the radiology fam!

    Please don’t stop making these!!! I just subbed!
    I’m a new graduate but I’m working in a clinic where I’m the only X-ray tech on a shift! I have no coworkers to rely on and I have so much anxiety about it but I’ve been watching these videos almost every night so it does all get easier!

    Can you make a video about using the c-arm and OR ?

    • @XRAYREY
      @XRAYREY  2 года назад

      One of the most common requests, but It's been a difficult time trying to accomplish this since starting the channel, however it's looking more of a possibility recently.

    I just started my first clinicals as my 1year! Any tips and techniques for using a Mobile C Arm? Just copped 2 technique cards recently too! Appreciate you bro for the help,

    • @XRAYREY
      @XRAYREY  2 года назад

      exciting times! and thank you for your support. Tips are a bit difficult to give as I don't know what your skill level is and what issues you have. All I have to say is just ask as many questions your feel you need to and drill it in your head. Make sure you get into OR as many times possible. It's a skill not that many students get in school because you're mainly on the floor. The diagram I have on the back of your technique card def will come in handy as well

    Hey Rey,
    For that lateral - could you leave the IR flat on the gurney, shoot from the other side of the wrist by propping up the wrist with sponges/towels and angling the tube to match the angle of the wrist?

    • @XRAYREY
      @XRAYREY  2 года назад +1

      I'm not sure if I quite understand your question. But if I do, lol, there would be a lot of OID, artifact from the towel, and too much distortion from angling the tube.

    • @GoogleTheBoss

      @@XRAYREY Apologies for my terrible wording.. I'm not the best when asking questions! Let me try to re-ask the question.
      If you go to the 6:59 minute mark.. from my point of view on how the wrist is placed on the IR plate, couldn't you just move the tube to the other side (left) of the patient and shoot down at an angle (to match the angle of the wrist)? And by doing so, would that save you the trouble of using a towel at the 8:30 minute mark?
      I'm a fresh noobie, so I welcome any criticism of my thought process. Thank you for your reply and I appreciate your videos!

    Would the radiation pass through the board at all? Shielding just to be safe?

    • @XRAYREY
      @XRAYREY  2 года назад +1

      Yes it would. This is just a demonstration. However, lead shielding is also not required anymore. It's used discretionally
