I love the smooth sound of the engine and the interior, the outside is not so much my taste but I still love the cars relaxing feel, quiet and smooth just perfect for a morning drive through the mountains
The interior is 5 years old now and still more modern looking than any conventional BMW model. Says a lot about how revolutionary this car was at the time of its release and still is.

@@ericp4573 This is not a super car. It is a super sports car. Even with a Twin Turbo V8 it would only be about as fast as an Aston Martin DB11.

@@rawsoldier4278 true. Teslas can be cheaper and offer WAAAY more features. Now you can even play cuphead (massive game for PC, switch and Xbox) on the tablet. Also Tesla doesn't add fake engine noise from the speakers.

To me the only thing the engineers failed with this car is the combustion engine, come on a 3 cylinder?! They should have put in a 6 cylinder even with a smaller displacement; the 6 cylinders straight "6" is the trademark of BMW. This car is beautiful to me, but it isn't a BMW... Anyone feel me?
Golden Nugget do you think that they didn't thought about that? They had their motivations to put an engine like that. Less weight, less fuel consumption (so they could've put a smaller tank), more space for other components etc

Yes it is a choice they made and they had their reason, it is also their choice to make a car that isn’t a bmw and that nobody identifies with - hence really bad sales.

Golden Nugget the engineers had nothing to do with the engine displacement, and also the car was trying to pose a message and make something new. There are talks of a 4 cylinder version coming out soon
They gave it a 3 cylinder on purpose, the car is about efficiency as a vision of what a future sport car could be. Putting a bigger engine it it would have defeated the purpose. What I do think they should have done is, after making the statement about efficiency they should have also made a performance version later and call it the i8M

First of all i want to say that i love some of the videos of this channel, i dont mean to spam or troll or anything, but i honestly is hard to believe how uncomfortable would be driving there, that road is the worst you could choose to drive a beautiful car like that one, people in the middle of the road on bicycles, you need to move to let the other cars go through, is really boring to see that, and frustrating too, how hard is to find a highway anyway? I got tired on the first 4 minutes of this video and i have no intentions to keep watching it, but anyway, good channel though
