- I visited the Axa Training Centre today at 5:40am on the 27.6.23 to get some shots and footage of it by drone.
It really is a great looking facility!
I hope you enjoy the video.

World class facility that training centre 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 thank you again for a stellar job mate…. Appreciate all the updates all the way in South Africa 🇿🇦
Cheers Nick for a glimpse of how big the site is and how amazing it looks. Much appreciated mate!
Another great video, love how we get to see parts of the club we would not otherwise see.
Absolutely amazing, I never realised how vast an area it was spread over between the new Axa Training Centre and the old Training Academy. When you see how much it has expanded from the old Academy, WOW. Thanks so so much Nick
Great video Nick .. I used to play for a pub team in the Kirkby Newtown league on the same land .. The pitches were nothing like the same quality then of course .. It's astonishing to see the transformation to the superb facility that it is today. Thank you so much for the work you put in to bring us these great videos.
Astonishing. The eighth wonder of the world.
The transformation of this club since klopp came in is amazing off the pitch with anfield now as brand new as you can get some great work done there... Now the new stand... And tbe training ground is one of the very best in Europe absolutely fantastic work from everyone involved the things people take for granted for the price of 2 or 3 good players they built a home fit for the reds absolutely amazing
Hi Nick, it's brilliant that you've taken the time to produce this video. You've probably realised this already but the smaller of the two main buildings is the original academy facility (and still is) the larger new build houses the first team training facility, it's absolutely stunning and there's several 'virtual tours' on the clubs own channel. All the main pitches by the way are identical to the new hybrid carpet pitch we're laying at Anfield, it's the attention to details like that which really impresses me. 👍
keep up the amazing work love watching your videos
Nice 1 Nick, FSG has it's critic's and some aspects me included, but they have definitely done a lot of favorable work.
Which has been paid by the football club.
@@sukhjotesingh9613 Who bailed the club out, after the Gillette/ Hicks fiasco.
@@dannycrotch5188 we had others lined up. According to FSG - LFC was the steal of the century!
Stop with the nonsense they saved us!
That's an amazing place one of the very best around Europe
Another great video! Thanks wanted 2 see training ground for a while..ta 👍🏼
Excellent video Nick.
Fantastic mate 💪😉
Do the Finch Farm aerial view, please Nick
❤️❤️❤️
Hi… first time caller just what to say thanks for all your time given to LFC and Anfield and the videos enjoyed them all… can I ask and I’m sure that you’ve already covered this but what do you think or feel will be the next stage phase 3 for the club for me because of the housing situation Nate the SKD stand it is more that likely going to be the Kop and getting our most famous stand upto and matching the new Anfield Road Stand
Nice little video 👍
i watch some time a go Klopp interview here in Axa with some guy and Klopp says it is possible in the future if Liverpool wants they can add new another floor thats why you can see in inside the large beams of wood on the roof soo theye maybe its not too much space left for the future but they can expand the training ground by adding new floor but i must say this they need small stadium for the academy and women like City,Barca,Real,Bayer have
It was a BT special with Peter Crouch. Crouch ain't some guy lol
Hey Mr Drone, it would have been good if you could have pointed out what we are looking at because the facility at 3:15. looks completely different, as if it's a completely different training facility. Yes, it's Liverpool's training ground but flyovers with no commentary (that don't provide layout and background info) have limited value and subsequent interest.
The part your talking about is the Academy where the kids train
Thanks for doing this Nick
Can you do a comparison to Leicester’s training grounds as that cost double ours but is meant to be one of the best.
What do you think?
Is it better than Kirby?
@@hashshashiin.forsī no idea will have to see both
HI Nick Great video its amazing how big this is I bet you were wondering at times where was your drone was hope you did not have any signal problems.
nice one.
Never realized it was so big,it looks bigger than the one Chelsea use in Cobham, but we are a bigger team than them anyway ynwa
Boss it be amazing idea if get all the best training grounds in UK .
Great
Hello Nick been looking at the tarmac road, at anfield,I was looking at the width of it could it actually be just an extension of the path from Stanley Park. If you look at the width it looks the same as all the paths that go through Stanley Park, so is it more of a path than a road ?
Anyone seen Newcastle's training ground ? Looks amazing
Yea not as good as Live
@@sajmon8857well about leicester's?
Good video. Big site that.
Imagine you caught an imminent signing lol
Alright mate like your videos is it possible you could you do aintree (grand national) sound!
Already done it mate. Check my channel for it 👍🏻
👍
50 million spent on this facility if I remember correctly
Yep can be like 55.
My only complaint about La Axa is that there's no space for the womens' team. I think that was a missed opportunity.
They will be having Melwood for their exclusive use now, so it isn't all bad.
they gonna have Melwood so its all good ;) i must says i only 1 complain have is that they dont build small stadium for the academy and Women like City,Barca,Real,Bayern have other than that looks werry good this training camp world class
@@fromthefountofyouth I know they're moving into Melwood, but they should be at La Axa. We are one club, not two.
@@liencamyes in the future will be the same on axa woman and man but in the moment woman team will have millwood,to expand axa they need 50 million more ,know FSG are poor and loughing to see what are doing in transfer market.
@@sajmon8857 The Academy have a small single-stand stadium at Kirkby. It's where the U-18 and U-21 play their league fixtures. There was once a video on RUclips showing it in detail.
noticing wheelchair space's at the axa does this mean they have some sorta tours ? or something for the general public (aka wheelchair users)
They have spectators watching matches and training I believe. My son goes quite a lot to watch his friend who plays for Liverpool.
Admit it nick your a secret RED?
It is a building made of bricks. Bags of wind are kicked about on a training pitch as part of preparation for mindless football matches. So what.
Amazing! I'm taking my little boy to see if we can spot any of the players driving into training over the weekend. Does anyone know the training times roughly or am I completely deluded 🫣🤣
