We all complained about Steve Parish not allowing Palace to spend much but we now know he wanted to save up so much money for Palace to have what we have now.

If we ever get relegated that facility will build the team that gets promoted or a sizeable chunk of it. Getting relegated won't make it not a Cat 1 facility. The U23s would have to relegate themselves and the U18 would stay in the Southern conference. If anything the pathway into the first team would massively increase so the club becomes more self sustaining. The main thing now is to get the main stand rebuild done as that's phase one of the ground improvement and I suspect we could get away with only doing the Advertiser after that. As we'd have a near 40K seater stadia plus the academy and we're in London. Once the main stand is done we'll have a similar level of facility/quality to clubs like Villa, Everton and Leicester have currently. Although I know Leicester and Everton even more so have plans to build much bigger stadia. I think we could then compete regularly for around 7th to 10th after that and European football and the cups. As we'd have the basis of a really strong stable club then. Then it's a question of can anyone take the club on and do the Arthur and the Holmesdale stand replacements.
Us will be like Liverpool and Leicester just improve your ground would cost your club way too much money to build a new one tottenham stadium in state of the art and no Premier league club will be able to match it different gravy
