I think that it sounds more like the recording if you change the playback speed to 75% instead of normal speed!?!?!? Just the guitar and the strumming, not the singing. But great job and tutorial either way!!!

Do you have tabs to go along? Would help to see the chord sequence so I slow it down for practice.
If you hit the settings button on the video you can change the playback speed from 25% of full speed all the way up to 2 times the normal playback speed. Hope this helps.

I take it back....When you plant you fingers it initially looks like your planting the index finger on the B string first fret but then you raise the finger. So your playing A.
