Digging it. With the motor having a displayed, suspended look. A spun aluminum oil tank with a concealed bottom mount to make it look like it's floating as well... would look sick.
Can't wait to see that bike when you're done. It feels really close. Hopefully you'll show us the tank in the next video. I still remember the video you did with the needle scaler on the case... that was the first time I'd ever heard of a needle scaler.
In my early teens 64 65 I lived a few blocks from a Triumph , Mercury, McCulloch shop. Being 14, I was fascinating by motorcycles. The blue and white Bonneyville was as perfect as the Farrah Fawcett poster.
Shop Rod is shaping up to be something special! Something like that takes vision and creativity, that's why I stick to restos and stock mods. I draw a mean stick person though.🤣😛
Back in the day Mr. Titus always insisted that the area under the cylinder base hold down nuts be masked off so the paint would not effect the torque as it was squished out.
The front end of the shop rod is looking `schmick` as the Australians like to say. I also particularly appreciated the collet gaps treatment, but where`s the lil puppies?
those are for my little brothers pipes for the early style head this engine needs press ins but i hope to make my own set later on... ps that was your head and cylinder in this video lol
Man the shop rod is looking fantastic. Cheers mate from Australia 🇦🇺
