  • How to remove front air vent & trim panel frame and repair it for Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 models. New went house it’s around 130€ but you should find used ones for around 20-40€ on eBay and other sites.
Recommend to buy trim tool sets only cost about 10€ and you going to have lot of use for it. Never use sharp things like screwdrivers for interior parts if it’s not really needed to. Made my own pulling hooks from welding sticks really easy to make if you not have time to order them.

Changed the centre piece (big one) few months back for my friend. Bought from scrap 20€ 😀 but some small damage. Finally used parts from both and made a fully working centre piece 😀. Was no plan to start a channel, so no filming done.😭

Ordered rear camera so probably that video coming out soon. Going to retrofit like oem style but with extern screen. Use Garmin GPS as screen for it.

@@MB212 I did that myself a couple of years ago in my S212 250 CDI, using the Command screen and coding it to open the rear camera input when gear is in reverse. I’m curious about how you plan to pass the camera cable from the trunk door to the interior. I could not find a better solution than using a wireless transmitter. Another challenge was to find a good ground and stable power source. Still not working perfect today.
      Thank-you for sharing your videos!

Nice I did check out for command first but was to much of a hassle. Like to have Garmin GPS in car anyway so it’s not much of a problem. I have order the original bracket for camera so going to retrofit the Garmin camera there, it’s wireless one have use it before it’s really good and easy install.

I have this removal hook, but with a little force it falls out of that hole, not sure if it's the angle or what?

Where would one find such parts though? I managed to break in that same assemble (left hand air vent) the middle flap that also has the left-right controller slide.

Check parts site like eBay these don’t cost much at all in used market.

Hi, my Mercedes w212 blowing slightly hot air on the passenger side, what could be the reason? (When AC is on) both side temperatures are set to low.
