    i do not eat chicken breast. (anymore or at the moment) i cut the breasts up and put it in a tortilla and add cheese & sourcream n hot sauce. makes great chicken tacos.

My thought is to thaw them out, season them lightly with lemon pepper then parcook them in the oven in covered pans at 425 until the meat reaches 120-130 degrees internal. Then sear them in quick fashion on the church commercial size griddle at high heat, and give them a final generous brushing with italian dressing and fresh basil. Has anyone done anything like this?

      Olive oil can have a smoke point of up to 470 so it works great in this recipe. Additionally, the olive oil on the chicken won’t ever reach over 400 degrees because the chicken is only cooked to 165. Hope that helps.

      Thank you so much for that answer because I’m right at the point of cutting up the chicken. God bless you and merry Christmas!

    Hi I’m new to cooking, is it really safe to use aluminum foil on the tray the reason why I’m saying this is because one my family friends use a aluminum foil in a microwave and exploded. So that’s my only concern. 😂

    • @FeedingYourFam
      @FeedingYourFam  Год назад

      Aluminum foil is safe to use in the oven, it works great in helping to keep pans clean as well as covering other dishes while cooking. Definitely do not use in a microwave oven, sparks will fly!!

    Can I do this without a thermometer?

    • @FeedingYourFam
      @FeedingYourFam  10 месяцев назад +1

      You can do this without a thermometer, just make sure the chicken is no longer pink inside. A thermometer just makes sure you don't over or under cook the chicken.

    I’m just wondering if I can wash the breast before putting it in the oven!?

      You do not need to wash the chicken breast before cooking.

    Did you freeze the chicken or did you buy it frozen?

    • @FeedingYourFam
      @FeedingYourFam  3 года назад

      I buy it frozen. We have a large family, so I usually buy the big bags of frozen chicken breasts from Costco.
